The use of touchscreens (especially the infotainment touchscreen) in sporty cars is killing the experience. A dedicated drive mode selector and decicated AC controls should've been given at this price point. Also, I wonder what happens when this screen fails. One loses the ability to change ANY setting of the car.
Idk but if m2 is launched in 4 door ill go and buy it tmrw but do admire the hardwork to put together for a fabulous review really appreciated 👏

That's a utopian thought, the 2 Series starts from around 43.5 lakhs, so expecting an M2 to be priced at this price range is too good to be true.
@@EtherealMisconduct the m340i in the usa costs 55,000$ and the M2 costs 63,000$. They should really get the M2 as a CKD so that they can launch it at a better price.

@Navneet Well, regardless of that, the M240i won't be that affordable as taxes in some form would be levied on the car, and with the horrible on-road prices, it would become much more expensive.
I have not yet learned to drive and the cars are going all electric very soon ... it's very saddening for me to be born in a such generation where I can not take the fun of driving ICE 😢

I am not really a fan of the looks tbh. The previous gen M2 was so much better and aggressive looking but this new M2, at least for me, doesn't look very appealing. Nevertheless, performance is breathtaking and the fact that itbcomes with a manual transmission makes it an insanely fun car to drive. BMW hasn't compromised with the driving feel, which is commendable and the most vital thing about a Beamer. However, they should work on improving their design language. All in all, it appears to be an absolutely amazing car to drive and your review, which am watching atm, has been amazing like always.
True as a BMW fan I'm a bit disappointed as most probably it's the last M2 with the 6 cylinders so I expected a better design, I'm not complaining about the performance

Tbh I did not like the grills, BMW's curvy grills are it's signature and those are magnificent
M240i uses the more mass market B58 engine, shared with the M340i, X3 M40i, etc. The M2, M3 and M4 use the S58 engine in various tunes.
The S has increased bore and decreased stroke for more top end power over torque. Internals like crankshaft and pistons are forged. The mod potential is significant with many safe mods pushing upwards of 750hp with good quality fuel.

@@ankitsethi8641 5 mins of driving footage won’t help a lot of people in understanding the drivability of the car, it’s not really possible to explain the ride and handling of the car in such a short span of time. Plus what’s the purpose of having a 5 minute driving footage? Cars like these deserve to have a much higher duration of driving footage. That’s what enthusiasts crave for, the driving part.

Through these long videos, we can determine whether this car is good or bad and will it be worth going for if we were considering buying one but waiting for a detailed review of the same. Not only that, we also get treated to some wonderful views while he's driving in different places.
