  • When Sasha Mbote saw Hon.Raila Odinga, she was star struck.
To her, this man is an enigma and a role model to many.
But if she was to go back to 2017, she would think twice about taking photos with Raila because the pain, hurt, and betrayal she experienced right after posting them online is something she will remember for the rest of her life.
How did she end up being called baba's side chick and why was she afraid to come back home?
Here is Lynn Ngugi with today's episode of LNS

Wow... God wanted me to watch this video. I have been watching your videos Lynn and they really inspire me but Sasha has touched on something that I am struggling with right now, Forgiveness.
I am currently in Qatar and it has not been easy. Most of my colleagues are North African arabs and I tell you, they are a hard bunch to deal with. I am a strong willed woman working in an environment where black women can't speak up. We are having a hard time with the Kenyan ladies because these people try to frustrate us at all cost because they are intimidated by us. I have been asking God to help me change my attitude and give me a heart of forgiveness. Sasha has really inspired me because her positive energy and laughter is what I've been praying for. I tend to take things too seriously and build walls that push people away as a defence mechanism. This started when I was a child cuz of some things people put me through, especially women and girls. I've come to see how toxic that is and have been praying about it. I have a big dream as an artist, especially for the African artists. I know I'll have to work with people at some time. God brought me to Qatar not only for financial benefits but also to build my character for His purpose in my life to be fulfilled. Many ladies on your show have inspired me, especially to see women from a positive perspective.
Thank you Lynn for the good work that you are doing. God bless you.
And thank you Sasha for inspiring me to continue working on having a forgiving heart. My dream is to let go of all the baggage and be a spring of joy to many, just like you.
    God bless you!

This is so true. When I opened my NGO somebody asked me, "u are now tired of working and decided kukula pesa ya wazungu". This broke my heart coz to be honest it's a calling. I have invested all my money and sometimes it's so hard to get even a meal. But it's better I sleep hungry and help those who are in more need.

Oh dear! I remember you telling me in one of your posts' comments exchanges about some nasty traumatizing experience you had in 2017😰! Now I connect the dots. I am very sorry about your painful experience. I am so glad you have greatly overcome the pain. You are an amazing woman, I resonate with your work, faith, desire to empower women and can't miss the campaign for black liberation from secondary colonialism 🙌! Your positive energy vibe is something this generation needs. Keep up the good work.
