You are one of the few. I had one 5yrs with her and she was fine so we thought. When we left the country our kids opened up and said the house girl used to beat them.
We never employed a house girl again. I stopped work and brought them up while my husband was a bread winner. Glad I did since I got to know my children and build good relationship with them.
Now all grown up but if I could turn back time employing house girls was a big mistake I made in life.
its hard to bring up a child in this generation coz of the things they see,people they interact with..its really hard we only pray to God to give us wisdom on how to raise our kids
its easy pull your child close make the child your bestfriend talk to him or her about sex education and keep it positive try this and you will see the difference thank me later
But then again for mom no one, beating an innocent child for something that was not a mistake, is NOT OKAY. The little girl needs a safe space to talk without fear she let her mom down and she did something wrong. The child did NOTHING WRONG!!! Woiyee African moms beating a traumatised child is abuse!!!

The reason why i have trained my six year old boy to take care of himself and her three year old sister is because of such stories.. i had a ugandan nanny who was watching bestiality on our tv and the first day we found out is the second she left my house... I stopped giving second chances to nannies. I am in the verge of choosing work or my kids... We have a very high calling as parents. Especially mothers. May God direct us

Respect for my Mommy.. She said to hell with work.. My mom resigned her teaching job to be a stay at home mama.. Just to be with her 10 kids.. It was hell for her depending on dad's salary... My mom went without even clothes and shoes, she suffered.. She regretted why she stopped working, but it was worth it.. She invested her time in us and now she is reaping her fruits... We are all grown up and working and taking care of her, we have employed a house girl for her, we have built her her dream mansion ... She is living her life now.. Mama don't worry..
To my dad Rest in power... My dad was a special one... He was always present in our lives.. There is no day we missed our dad at breakfast and dinner table...

Pls tell this girl her baby girl will turn up alright when she grows big. My 5 years old girl was introduced to lesbiansm by her friend and by the time I found out they had done it so many times. When I caught them red handed, I talked to her and I separated them with the girl. I prayed against that spirit and by God's grace, she forgot about it. She is now 23 years and she is good. So mammy, just pray, tumeona mengi dada.
I hope she’s good as you say. But for pornography, it takes more than that. Hopefully she doesn’t already masturbate. The mum needs to pray so more and take the child for therapy.
I take most of things I said about the mother in white, she has made changes following the abuses disclosure. I think she will make a very good children advocate.

Majority of these househelps come from very broken homes, they suffer from mental illness, have depression and are completely broken. Please parents be careful when interviewing them. Don't just take them because they are affordable, but ask questions, take notes, investigate about their family and past. Ask for police clearance form or what we call in America (background check). I'm so sorry for the children.

And I'll leave this here,I have a son and at that time He was almost 4 years and I remember we had a girl who would take care of my son and since She didn't have a phone,I gave Her a spare that I had and one day as I took it I went to the gallery and I found that She was twerking and my son was the videographer after that,I was disturbed and I stopped Her from working because it was against our morals as a family,and as I talked to my son about it He told me "mum usitafute mtu mwingine",let's just do this on our own this time He was 5 and that's what we've been doing,allow God to co parent with you,He has the best interest of your kids and yourself @heart
So heartbreaking!! She could have fired her the time she saw those videos on the phone. That was a red flag, that the maid was a danger to the family.

The sad reality is that we are living in inescapable bad times. Be your no-one friend to your kids and make a point of interrogating them daily, in a wise way...while investigating their behaviors altogether ..the rest is to trust your gut and observe with caution the people around without turning a blind eye to any unpleasant manners ...putting God above all
Soo heartbreaking 💔💔, the child needs to see a psychologist, therapist who will help her heal and overcome the trauma. Being exposed to such content at a young age is trauma in itself.
Just gotten time to watch myself uninterrupted in this interview. Motherhood and work can be a tricky balance.It was an honor for me to share this story and my parenting journey. What I can say is, lets always pray for our kids before we leave for work in the morning and also create an environment where your child can tell you anything..Have that time to know how your kid's day was at the end of the day. Let them tell u what happened during the day..Though its not easy for a minor to open up..May God protect our kids from the evil ones aki..This is so painful💔

The baby needs to babysitt by a mother 1month to 3 years in mother s army.. In critical condition... Resulted into windows, mental health issues the child must take from mother when 1 years 6months....

Lynn as we're still parental issues, bring us a male and female counsellor or parents to talk about parents who do bedroom matters in the presence of their children,,,,,, even some parents wanachangia, I noticed with my friends daughter, she knows how her mum moans , at first I was curious from where she learned some certain behaviours from yet she's only 4 then realized when I visited, I heard everything and their daughter was inside, they always give her the phone to watch cartoon as they continue thinking that the child is focusing on cartoon
Some of these mannerisms some children learn them from their parents, imagine mtoi wa 4 years sleeping in the middle of their parents and that is that is the same place they do their affairs mostly day time , how do they expect their children to behave, the girl knows everything and they don't have a nanny....yani wazazi wengi hawawezi vumilia watoto walale ndo waanze 🤔

I totally agree, sometimes it's the relatives that live in our homes that sexually abuse our children throughout their stay in our homes. People just don't talk about it but it is happening unfortunately!!

my househelp used to leave my child on bed from morning till evening. Till my landlord noticed and alerted me but it was too late. It took my daughter 4yrs plus to be able to atter a single word. She is now a teen i thank God. It's not easy coz I had to quit my job for 6yrs to make sure she is normal again.
So sad.

Hawa watu hawasaidiki no matter how much you want to help them. They lie, they mistreat your kids, they disrespect your home and still have the guts to be entitled. I had a house help mwenye nilikuwa namtreat poa aki. Like my own sister. Never argued, mistreated or did anything bad to her. Lakini, whenever I'd leave for work anaacha my 4 month old baby kwa bed all day anapiga story nje na wamama. Hungry and crying 😭 my baby was so healthy, but at 4 months akashuka Hadi 5kg. Our caretaker, God bless him, told me immediately he noticed that. I kicked her out without thinking twice. I've never wanted to see her again despite her trying to apologize and say she was influenced by others. Some people are just evil!
That's happened to me too, paka my baby lost her voice, I kept taking her to hospital wondering why it was happening only to find her red handed one day, akipiga domo outside while my three months old baby has been crying for hours.

Thankyou for talking about this ..the day my 2yr old started behaving funny in a sexual way, sleeping on anything and doing the humping thing I could not forgive myself..I could not suspect my house girl and my son could not verbally communicate so I could not ask him questions..i only learnt later that the housegirl could bring her boyfriend and they were doing it infront of my baby..it was a journey helping my son forget about all that..worst part is that you can't share with people because they think it's you parents who do it Infront of the kids

I am not perfect but I can say the following; Do not give too much freedom to your employees, or your helps, just because there is a sister to help her. Because when that sister is not there, she will still need to go out because she is used to. She will leave your kids alone.
When a person shows you their true colors the first time, believe them. So many chances and too much talks only make things worse.
It is important to have a healthy employer-employee relationship. Allow yourself to get over people who walk into your life. Also, the first lady needs counseling. She needs to forgive herself
