  • Using the Crafted by Ray workshop to build yard decor. Great way to add color to the yard or hide your trash bin! This hanging flower basket was made using (1) 2x6, (1) 2x10 and (2) 2x4s. I applied a vinyl "welcome" sign after a coat of exterior primer and exterior paint. I would love to have you post in the comments if you have any questions! Happy wood working!

Ray,.I did it. First time with pocket holes. Not perfect but darn close. Much more confidence now for making more. God bless you and your family this Easter.

Good, clear instructions! They look really nice!!! I know these would probably be on a covered porch or similar, but I would still play it safe and use Titebond III. What would you charge for one of these, not including the flowers, of course?

I am selling them for 60 dollars

@@CraftedbyRay That’s pretty cheap! I’ve seen them for higher, without the Welcome vinyl. Fair price, tho, and I’m sure you’ll sell more. Thanks for the reply!

What size boards are you using for the base? 1x12? 2x12 etc. Thanks in advance. Great work. I just picked up a Wagner sprayer as well. I’m excited to break it in! 😎

Were you able to make all four of those out of the four boards you bought? Or did you have to buy more?

I Honestly can't remember I think that the what I bought was just enough to make 4 of those.
