Apparently the bit on the back of the knee is a bit of incorrect molding. Apparently that tab part was supposed to face upwards, but something went wrong with the CAD files during production it seems

I was gonna say, how dare you make fun of your channel, it's one of the few things I can count on being consistently good quality and fun. If I have a question about a figure, Emgo is my first place to go.
For anyone who gets this figure, I massively recommend taking an exactoknife and cutting the pegs on the back of the knees off completely. Gives you a full 90-100 degrees of bend and doesn't affect either mode negatively. If anything, I find the tank mode tabs in easier without them, so that's just more reason to. Aside from that bit of basically-mandatory modification, amazing figure and highly recommended for anyone collecting SSGE.

Fusion Cannon isn’t accurate, I see what they tried to do, they tried to mix the WFC Fusion Cannon with the FoC Riot Cannon, specifically for the weapon gimmick, but really hoping DNA has us on this guy, needs a new back, and a new Fusion Cannon as well as wrist rotation. It’ll be great after that.
Not accurate to the game, but it looks like they used the original concept art to model the figure on. Proportions are much more in line with that, minus the treads on his legs. The cannon looks like that one, minus some purple glow.
Still more accurate than the 2010 release lol this is more accurate with a few bits that are worse than the og but people cant be happy hell hes a full almost 2 heads taller than the og

That is literally all he needs and hes big enough for me at least since hes bigger than the original version hes good enough for me. Although yes I would have preferred the guns get a bit more paint overall this figure to me looks great with those minor nitpicks out of the way. I've seen multiple reviews and images of this megatron next to the original and this one is miles better with those minute issues out of the way. He also stands roughly 2 entire heads worth of height above the original and just overall looks better.

sorry if i butcher this but I have to disagree with the notion that your content is pointless cause you've always made me laugh with your humor, your tutorials have always helped me whenever I try to transform something ever since i started watching your content around 2013, and you inspire me and make me feel proud to be a collector (i started really getting into it in 2020 and your videos were a life saver cause the instructions are really confusing LOL). The cannon looks like the FOC version but smaller. The arm conection to the back of the gun is FOC acurate. But this is WFC so yeah bit un acurate. Great review, look foward to getting mine.
I hope these do good enough to get more and it sounds like Habro really wants to bring back the Activision Transformer games as well which is even better news to me.
I’ve had this figure for about a week now. I fully believe the chunks in the back of the knees are purposeful to give Megatron a bit of more hunched and menacing look (in my opinion). Also upon looking at clips from both War for and Fall of, I believe the cannon IS like 90% accurate, just missing a few details on the side of the cannon. Honestly love this figure and want to see Fall of Megatron in the future.
He feels a lot better in hand honestly. That knee peg is still really wierd and sucks we basically have a to "fix" it. The cannon could've been bigger. But overall I think he is on par with SSGE Optimus.
Hasbro dropped the ball on this figure. But your channel has helped me learn this without spending money on a figure I'll potentially dislike. Your channel is indispensable to the toy community. You are amazing.

As someone who had the original WFC Megatron toy and still owns it to this day, though I do need to have some parts replaced on the figure. Specifically I need a brand new fusion cannon because mine got chewed up quite a bit by my dog who passed away few years ago, RUP Cinnamon. I can still slot the fusion cannon on his arm and in tank mode, the connection pegs aren't damaged. But the back looks in bad shape. Also need a new chest plate due to the paint wearing out from the figure's age and minor chew marks from said dog. But as someone who owns the OG WFC Megatron toy, I definitely should consider buying this new one.

I really want it to be canon that Megatron is obsessed with burritos. It would make sense as to why he never gets to conquer Earth😂 I had the original cybertronian Megatron and for the longest time that was my favorite Megatron,this one comes really close but not close enough.
@@lastprime10-11 Yup for the most part It's mostly accurate in bot mode, only missing some panel lines and the "grey tubes/canisters" that is actually present on the back of the right shoulder on the red part. Thing is in tank mode it is 100% accurate, those tube things move to the red part while in bot mode they are in the black cannon body. Also why it's more smooth out with less details (as the rest of the arm connects to it which completes the details). Long story short they chose to have an accurate tank over the bot.

......I know this very very unlikely to ever happen, buuuuuut......I wanna see some collab videos between Clint from Clint's Reptiles and Emgo. The two of them, alongside Mecha Gaikoutsu, are my top favorite youtubers. And it just feels like they both have the same energy.
It might not look that good but the colors are more game accurate than the original figure and the cannon is animation accurate. because in the game the cannon replaces is harm but in the animation it is on the side of his arm and they are not the same cannon.
You do realize that all you need to do to make Megatron's fusion cannon look more accurate is glue a black LEGO syringe piece and a small rectangular slab of red plastic to the fusion cannon right?
I look forward to getting the gamer edition bots but I really wish megatron had wheels everything else sounds awesome but that is just my tiny pet peeve

so apparently the knee joint is a manufacturing error, and it’s supposed to face the other way. kind of like Kingdom Galvatron’s shoulders.

I’ve had this figure for about a week now. I fully believe the chunks in the back of the knees are purposeful to give Megatron a bit of more hunched and menacing look (in my opinion).
Also upon looking at clips from both War for and Fall of, I believe the cannon IS like 90% accurate, just missing a few details on the side of the cannon.
Honestly love this figure and want to see Fall of Megatron in the future.

He feels a lot better in hand honestly. That knee peg is still really wierd and sucks we basically have a to "fix" it. The cannon could've been bigger. But overall I think he is on par with SSGE Optimus.
Praying for a 2 pack with him & the old Generations Deluxe to become reality in 2024/5.

People complaining about the size didn’t play the game. The Voyager size bots in game are barely taller than the deluxe bots.

I low key like the design of the previous WFC Megatron figure, especially in vehicle mode
And here I still can't find the optimus prime, but hey, the second wave has come.
As someone who had the original WFC Megatron toy and still owns it to this day, though I do need to have some parts replaced on the figure. Specifically I need a brand new fusion cannon because mine got chewed up quite a bit by my dog who passed away few years ago, RUP Cinnamon. I can still slot the fusion cannon on his arm and in tank mode, the connection pegs aren't damaged. But the back looks in bad shape. Also need a new chest plate due to the paint wearing out from the figure's age and minor chew marks from said dog. But as someone who owns the OG WFC Megatron toy, I definitely should consider buying this new one.
So that was when the couch disappeared.
Maybe it's just me, but the altmode looks like a combiner piece. The shape of it just looks like a gauntlet

I really want it to be canon that Megatron is obsessed with burritos. It would make sense as to why he never gets to conquer Earth😂 I had the original cybertronian Megatron and for the longest time that was my favorite Megatron,this one comes really close but not close enough.

I agree about the Fusion cannon. Personally, I'd use the Fusion cannon from the original toy.
The tip of the wracking stick kinda looks like it could have a bloosh put on it
The cannon for the most part is pretty accurate only problem I’ve had with it is the size cuz I feel like it could have been bigger
Unless I’m wrong but from what I remember it’s for the most part “accurate”
@@lastprime10-11 Yup for the most part It's mostly accurate in bot mode, only missing some panel lines and the "grey tubes/canisters" that is actually present on the back of the right shoulder on the red part.
Thing is in tank mode it is 100% accurate, those tube things move to the red part while in bot mode they are in the black cannon body. Also why it's more smooth out with less details (as the rest of the arm connects to it which completes the details). Long story short they chose to have an accurate tank over the bot.
I hope Gamer Edition Jazz and Soundwave and Shockwave are next
That clip should hold the rear track pieces fixed in robot mode.

......I know this very very unlikely to ever happen, buuuuuut......I wanna see some collab videos between Clint from Clint's Reptiles and Emgo. The two of them, alongside Mecha Gaikoutsu, are my top favorite youtubers. And it just feels like they both have the same energy.
And my preorder shipped today.
It might not look that good but the colors are more game accurate than the original figure and the cannon is animation accurate. because in the game the cannon replaces is harm but in the animation it is on the side of his arm and they are not the same cannon.
I know there a DNA kit for prime. So hopefully they could do one megs, with he’s fusion cannon 🤞

You do realize that all you need to do to make Megatron's fusion cannon look more accurate is glue a black LEGO syringe piece and a small rectangular slab of red plastic to the fusion cannon right?
