Man, I really wanna see TheProfessional play the Yakuza Series, purely to see him in the iconic gray blazer velvet shirt combo
“Gun store in the mall,”
Yeah, imagine Tommy walking out of the gun store and just letting loose on the sharks
Watching this during Isolation as I tested positive for Covid. Love ya vids Professional. I've started playing GTALCS today. Cop Land is one my favourite missions. Yeah The Driver is worst mission of all
I hope you doing ok man
You'll be in the clear soon man, this is the way, stay happy and busy. God bless.
Itll get better man! I just became clear for covid after 2 weeks isolation! Just talk to us and you wont lose your mind god bless bro 🙏🏽
Good luck 🤞. Also where do you live?

Same dude! Fully vaccinated and I still got it. Hope you get better soon.
Has it ever been said how much money Tommy lost in the deal with Vic?
It’s 20 kilos of coke and I think I remember Tommy or Sonny mentioning that it was 2 mil
@@rangerv1 thanks!
20 kg of coke, said by Tommy to Kent Paul. Cash-wise there's a bit of a slip-up in the final mission where Tommy says something like "Put 20 mil in the briefcases" to Ken (subtitles say 3 mil), then later says to Sonny "There's 3 mil in the cases" (subtitles say 3 mil).
I'd go with 3 mil for how much was originally owed. I found an interesting Business Insider article which said that the average cocaine price per gram in the US in 1986 for sales between 10 - 100 grams was $190. Multiply that by 20,000 grams and you get $3.8m. Reduce that price by a bit since you're buying 20 kg at once and you get $3m, a reasonable figure.
Maybe 20 mil was what was owed in the end, 17 of which was Forelli's cut of Tommy's new empire, but Rockstar got a bit confused
@@GurgleOneSixSix I thought it was 13 mill
They made ‘Shakedown’ easier in the mobile port, and carried that aspect over to the definitive edition. You only need to smash 10 windows.
This mission was so harder you had to bust so many shops
as a life long fan of GTA, well, since I was ten, in 1997, I can say without prejudice that the "definitive" editions of these classics are the final death nail for Rockstar Games. of course, they've got money to keep pumping stuff out, but NOT the talent. the talent that made these games popular have left. There is no future for GTA. i hate everything about these "defintive" editions. those of you that have just come up on GTAV and GTA Online won't get what I'm saying though. you're still in the mindset that Rockstar can do no wrong, but hear me: RDR2 was the footnote for Rockstar.
Ugh! Hated cop land. Lance died 400 times. I eventually left him behind, went to pay and spray, then came back for him. Total liability
Lance: Don't treat me like a little kid please.
Also Lance: You gotta look after me a bit better, you know!
Sounds like a kid to me.
The cocaine fucked his head so bad 😂😂😂
Also, foreshadowing of what things are in store for Tommy
@@MikoyanGurevichMiG21 True. When he started whining like that my trust for Lance immidiately dropped to 0.
@@MikoyanGurevichMiG21 No, his betrayal was so forced.

That was definitely a glitch. There were still pink markers on your map before it faded out
It’s not a glitch it’s the same on the 10th anniversary edition and the definitive edition
wiki says that the mission requirments and thew max wanted level you can get is two BUT since i go this info from the wiki page so....
@@joshgordonsweed57 What's the point of the mission then? Takes all the fun out of it.
I kept raging at the Cop Land mission in the Definitive Edition because Lance would keep glitching into the wall after I plant the bomb into the coffee shop and after it explodes, Lance dies and I fail the mission
Did you run straight to the door? If you did there’s a glitch where you and lance die just run as far from the cafe as possible
@@joshgordonsweed57 yeah.
I had the same issue
@@DarkAngel-ms2sq i kept failing that mission several times

Why was there a machete, a meat cleaver, and a katana in a hardware store?
Because it’s Vice City
They sell machetes in hardware stores in real life
Well machetes are commonly used for cutting down trees and branches
I can see the machete and the meat cleaver. But the katana?
14:55 you see how Tommy respected him enough to say I'm not gonna drop you or backstab you in anyway your in this game as much as I am! And the fact he gave Lance the One Chance "I'm warning you" he told him loud and clear dont do anything you will regret! The more I listen to these phone calls as an adult the more I knew Lance was a treacherous snake since he is the only person who has connections to the Forellis organization besides Tommy! You feel bad at first but he dug his own grave by trying to be Scarface and Tommy was Sosa without the betrayal 💯
If Tommy is showing you respect, you'd best believe that it's genuine. He may start off abrasive to everyone, but given time, he began to respect Avery, Lance, Ken, Cortez, etc... he just respected some people more than others.
@@rbaws1 exactly but lance couldn't stand being patronized! Vice city stories brought us closer to see how Vic really had to control him in dire circumstances once vic died the cocaine fucked with lance to a point of suicidal tendencies and he was never the same 💯
@@andersoncontreras183 that makes sense. But still, Lance was already stupid before the drugs. And if he hated being called out, maybe he should have learned from his mistakes.
@@rbaws1 but with an addict who has mental health issues from his family he kept taking drugs thinking the outcome would be different! He probably thought vic dying was a bad trip until the next day he realized his brother was dead! His mom has a history of drug use and psychosis, so if anything he made himself insane by taking drugs and risking things to the wild fire and he repeated constantly "THE LITERAL FORM OF INSANITY" 💯 rockstar goes do deep into depth but it's the fans like us who understand real life situations with a simple video game like GTA 🤯
I appreciate the cosplays. You go to great lengths for these videos and I can't think of any other RUclips content creator who does this
I love the guy who says “Hey, it’s Mr. V!” whenever Tommy enters the mansion. 😂😂😂😂

Notice how Lance's police outfit was the original ps2 verison?

I'm 1000% agree with Patrick when he say that *"Cop Land"* is the *MOST WORST MISSION* in GTA Vice City
Same I fucking hate that mission
Ain't that the truth.
@@PatrickBautista_RR3Gamer Yeah, that's The Truth , but not The Truth from GTA San Andreas
Never had problem in this mission. I took infernus and drove it to mall, after explosion grabbed star outside near the exit after explosion and then drove to the Pay'n'Spay to loose cops
@@a6pukoc113 I think that your way quite similar with Patrick's way (The Professional's real first name) to solve that mission
They make GTA definitive edition too easy then the older GTA game
4:56 "Hey Avery whats eating ya?"
Bruh i dont know if thats intentional or not but the fact that its Avery's last line and his last appearance is in GTA LCS with the "you know what" is poetic in a way
Hey professional , I am one of your old viewer so I want ask one thing, after you beat gta vice city the definitive edition , will you make a lore on Vic Vance about his character analysis , I really wanted that video from last year . By the way love from India and keep it up👍.
Yeah it could be called Lance vance's psychotic Dance
It's SPIDER-MAN
Man you look just like one of my best buddies. It’s crazy. I showed him and he was like oh wow I dident know I had 1m subs on RUclips 😂😂😂
seems like they made the first protection racket mission easier like on mobile, you didn't need to destroy all the windows
I prefer the old one. It made the mission more challenging. Don't know WHY they made some missions way too easy. Really takes the fun factor out of some of the missions.
Yep, it so easier than old version. cause that remake from mobile version.
I found out when I played the OG on the mobile version. Damn me and not being able to afford a good computer.
When i played the definitive it had the og style when the cops came etc? Seems to be a glitch
Tommy’s suit was used in Miami Vice as well. 👌🏻
Yup the episode shadow in the dark, manhunter meets miami vice, and to think it was used only for that one scene and one scene only with the testarossa
Hey professional Do cortez final mission last on the next episode because tommy is very respectful when he says goodbye to cortez.
I don't know if you noticed but the cops will always chase after these guys in blue in the mall if you attack them you get a 100$ for helping the cops. Just thought to let you know
Even in the street if a cop is chasing a suspect if you punch them you get 50$ for every punch you land
Mobile version has literally the same thing in which we pass mission after smashing just 2 to 4 windows. Definitive edition is nothing but mobile port with unreal engine graphic layout.
Nah they made the mission easier. It happened to me as well.
Cop land or the driver? I can't pick one they both made rage quit!!!!!
Awesome content man! Your killing it

Fun fact, they never paid the voice actors any revenue for this edition. Which means the Actors got screwed Twice. I feel so bad for the voice actor of Claude
Ahahahaha I just spit my water out 😂😂😂
And I'm sure they can't pay Burt Reynolds either. Plus Ray Liotta doesn't want to associate with R* anymore, and I'm sure he would be more disappointed than he was 19 years ago
@@nickthelonewolf9909 very true! As much of a Ray Liotta fan I am it will never happen again 💯
pls🤣🤣
Was Lance deliberately trying to sabotage Tommy or was he just a fool in the end?
He was a fool who got annoyed that Tommy called him out on it .
@@theprofessional155 an idiot who lost his rock when his brother went down, and dont forget that him and his brother once owned the entire city and here comes this guy from liberty taking it all up, and not giving him a slice or any piece of the pie,
and he only gained his confidence and his stature from being a big shot, when he lost that and his rock, his brother he lost both, and took it personally rather than taking it on the chin and asking to go out on his own, as its not like he was hurting for money
although given he lost his brother and the money for the deal at the start of the game, maybe that's why he betrayed tommy, maybe he went to sonny to get what he felt he was owed, IE the 3 mill in briefcases and part of his empire that he grew with his brother back
as we never really got a proper reason for the betrayal, he just snaps and goes behind tommy's back without any real explanation.
The reason you had to smash so few windows is because Grove Street Games built this game on the mobile version, where you only have to smash a few windows.
Another thing they ruined.
Did you notice how Lance’s police outfit isn’t updated like Tommy’s? Pretty lazy
Yeah I noticed it straight away when I got to that mission. Just remember they don't care about anything but money that's why they lazy
Cop Land was torture to me. Lance got me killed three times - one time, I set the timer on the cafe and Lance stayed there and he got blew up, causing me to fail the mission.
As always, I liked your videos.
Will you do a lore video on Catalina one day?
I did it second try luckily, the only reason I failed was cus Lance got stuck in a table and I had to kill him and restart
Same happened to me in the Diaz mission where he got stuck in a wall and didn’t cover me, I hate missions with lance in the definitive edition
Same here. On more than one occasion Lance fired his stubby shotgun at a cop car blowing it up either killing me or himself. His partner AI is so dumb.
Screw the definitive edition I stopped playing vice city on the ps2 for a month because of cop land! And the boat missions as well at the docks i love Dwayne and Jethro but those missions sucked and i only had enough to buy the ice cream factory or the Kaufman cab company 🤦♂️💯
@@andersoncontreras183 Maybe buy the film studio if you have enough money.
Fun fact inside Diazs mansion the security cams show pictures of the scarface mansion if you look and in the mission where you save lance from the scrap yard there's a stubby shot gun behind the building that you find lance in
The outside landscaping of the mansion is breathtaking with the graphics. So much landscaping and lush Vice City greenery.!
It especially looked good in the opening cutscene to Cop Land.
I'm really starting to dislike Lance... I loved him in Vice City Stories, but I guess I never really realized how foolish he was, as a kid, but now that I'm older, I realize he's greedy and still foolish lol
He was bad news since 1984
Your Tommy V suit is great. 👍
hey professional can you make a video on Micah character analysis because i never understood that guys personality you know and i know there are many lore videos coming out and i will be patient too
Worst part about the Copland mission is that the actual mission is pretty straightforward it’s the NPC (Lance) inability to follow you around that makes it difficult
Lance sounds like almost all of my exes in the last days of our relationships. Blaming me, not carrying their share of the load, and acting irrational.
I like Lance anyway a bit and I wish they could do something better with him, make him more useful, I wish you could find someone better.

Loving your Vercetti outfit man. Way to look the part.
They made the mission Shakedown too much simple. It was fun going to literally every store and smashing it. Now, 2 stores and you're done...
2:38 Thats the power of gta protagonist, doing things that supposed to take few hours in just 5 mins
3:58 Also now in Definitive Edition Tommy is so fast that he just need to do it in less than 2 minutes, no wonder he was successful.
Hey Professional could you increase the Dialogue Volume for this playthrough?
If you drink a shot every time TheProfessional says "Um-uuh", you'll die of alcohol poisioning somewhere around 14 minutes here...
That suit really is crispy and Beautifull and detailed just like Tommys a replica that is perfect
Trevor Philips Special Ability Rejects Damage from Enemies.
I was never able to play Vice City until the definitive edition, but Cop Land didn’t seem that bad when I did it
its not bad at all man iv never had a problem with it
At the beginning of the mission *"Cop Land"* Mike's Mouth didn't even move at all whenever he talk to Lance and Tommy
you are a best RUclips in the world TheProfessional 👍
15:05 Ah yes, the superior phone holding technique
At least Vercetti Gang will spawn more often after this mission
The protection racket was the one business that I probably like the most, it just had the shortest story arc or rather is one of 'em. It makes Vice City feel like it was originally. A Mafia game, and while Tommy's other businesses are for the most part illegal, they just mostly deviate from the main cast, particulalry Lance and Ken, and some of the asset missions, especially the other missions after Diaz' death, are very boring, apart from the Haitian-Cuban gang war, which can happen beforehand. And about Lance.... Lance's problem is simple - Tommy just took over Diaz' gang, and rather than sharing power with Lance, who've helped Tommy extentsively in killing off Diaz' Cartel, he laid all the responsibility on himself and enjoyed that position of power all on his own. Lance merely wanted to be treated as an equal in the business, a business in which he aided in its takeover by Tommy. I won't deny that Tommy is a good boss, but Tommy is also very power hungry as a mob boss. This is why he didn't have no one as his co-leader, unlike Sweet or Vic. This is also why he contributed his empire's growth to himself, because he didn't have others try to help him put in the same level of work into the business. Lance does help Tommy in Cop Land, and helps him with the Print Works, but not much because he knows that Tommy doesn't want to share power. Even in the final mission, this behavior of superiority and dominance is reserved, he shuts up Ken when he naively believes that he and Tommy are in charge, and deems the Vercetti crime family as his operation, despite the Forellis' initial financial aid and former background, which Tommy seemed to respect, and Lance, who he respected and liked, even more than Ken at the beginning. My point is, Tommy treated Lance well as a person for the most part, but not as a boss. And considering Lance's help in Diaz' defeat, its understandable why he felt underappreciated.
Yeah I believe "Cop Land" can be a difficult mission for the fact sometimes the cops may pile up & block the garage door......if you try to clear the the cars from blocking the door, it's a chance that you can get killed or "Lance" gets killed. Then Mission Failed....💯♥️♦️♠️❤♣️
Time for round 2
Surprisingly, I never had an issue with Cop Land. Maybe failed once or twice when escaping from the mall during all my playthroughs of the game.
I wish Vice City can extend the map to include some loose islands to roam about. It sucks that Tommy can’t swim. He could development his swimming skills so he can smuggle illegal products onto Vice City A la Scarface the world is yours
20:20
LAAAAAAAAAAANCE!!
Thats what I would've been screaming if I ever played vice city.
The gameplay audio is way too quiet
Never had a mission in any game ever broke me mentally until I played cop land
Yes cop Land is wrost mission and I rage so much and take so many try and it gave me nightmares to and I survived
Where we had a dress up as cops that mission is so bad that made me delete GTA vice city definite eddition
Always dig the cosplays
I found this out a while ago but if you look at Lance in his cop uniform its actually his model from the original game. The devs forgot to remaster him lol.
I don't think Cop Land is that hard if you get some of the bribes on the way back towards the mansion but I think The Driver is the hardest or at least the most frustrating mission in Vice City I can't stand that mission its ridiculous.
Love that movie here
When you get to the Propetiyes always buy the Malibu Club first
The gang in the mall are not the sharks. They are criminal group
Shakedown ended abruptly like that for me too and I was like "huh?"
I remember doing "Cop Land" for first time and when Tommy said the bomb was armed for 5 seconds, I panicked up to the point I accidently broke my controller. The bomb blew up with me being in the store and well, you guys know the rest. Plus nice explanation on Lance here Professional. VCS explains alot why Lance is like this in VC. It's a little sad tbh.
We appreciate you dressing up for the occasion. Its awesome!
U right profesional, cop land is the worst mission
20:13 I also got that bug in the PC version of the game
mike: i’m shorry✋🏼👁👄👁🤚🏼
I never have problems with cop land
i love how in your let's plays you do your best to replicate the outfit you are wearing in game. small detail that shows you care about the games you play
In Mike's defense, I think the timer had more time. Since he screwed up the fuses, it stopped on 5sec while ticking down.
Copland is the first place of hardest missions second is driver and the third is the film studio final mission where you need to drive the motorcycle jumping on roofs just for me these are the hardest
Copland use a normal car and after you plant the bomb get back in the car drive to Pay & Spray and back to the mansion . GSpotlight after the first jump go to VCN building roof and use the helicopter to fly to the markers .
Is lance’s issue that Tommy is treating him like his older brother did, also why do you think it was such a problem for Lance? He definitely needs a spin off.
I think Lance wants to be a tough guy, he wants to act hard but he just sucks and causes problems.
Tommy treats him as a subordinate (which he is), and Lance wants to be seen as an equal.
I not like this mission is so hard
Use bulletproof car please
Amazing Videos Professional! Loving this playthrough! Keep up the good work!
I was able to watch your video today since my parents told me to stay since it was so cold for me outside, there was a risk of getting frostbite and hypothermia. I was able watch the "Cop Land" both on phone and TV.

Tommy: I'll be back in five minutes
Me: Uhm, Tommy?, You should've said *"I'll be back in FIVE HOURS instead of FIVE MINUTES"* because One Hour Game Life is equal to One Minute Real Life
4:19 - Rockstar actually changed this mission objective in their 10th anniversary edition mobile ports. Now you only need to break 10 windows in the mall instead of all of them.
