      There's a reason why tommy CJ Toni and Vic isn't just a rehash of movements and actions that's built of off Claude otherwise the other characters would have just been a Claude reskin with a voice which would have just been lazy.
      If you don't like Vic fighting styles simply do not use it dispose of the enemies in other ways but serious question is it just Vic's fighting style you hate or is it Vic himself and your just grasping at straws to try and justify your dislike for the character.

      What they should have done if it was in that direction was set the game from 1967 to 1969, have it star a young Mike Toreno working for the government, and set up distant plot points for Vice City Stories, Vice City, and San Andreas (for instance, revealing that the Mendez Brothers are cousins with T-Bone Mendez, who would have a much larger role).
      But Rockstar not only would have never done that, but they also refused to port this game and Liberty City Stories to PC, even though these are still mainline games.

    In terms of the rage-quit missions from each GTA, as bad as the train robbery is in San Andreas, I'd say it doesn't even come close to the awfulness of the remote-controlled plane mission on that rooftop with David Cross yelling in your ear the whole time lol

    • @Thehappymasksalesman
      @Thehappymasksalesman 6 месяцев назад +2

      If you drive the plane on the ground instead of trying to fly it in the air it’s sooo much easier and you can do it first time trying. That’s my tip to anyone that wants to replay the game.

    • @goatlps
      @goatlps 5 месяцев назад

      nah, it's only difficult if you fly and not drive the plane. The bombing the multi-story with the helicopter is very easy too if you take your time, which you have plenty of. I think I did it first go on a replay years later. There's ways to exploit most mission or prepare better...I don't remember a hard train robbery mission - riding with Smoke shooting at people on the roof? Just ride well and go the right way - don't panic.

Or the mission for smoke directly after the train one with the bike chase at the end lol... just getting to the bike chase was a nightmare if you werent prepared.

      The only mission I even came close to rage-quitting was in GTA IV. You have to recover a duffel bag from some run-down building, and there's enemies almost around every corner ready to gank you. Had to play it a few times to memorize every possible ambush point. Even then, you inevitably soak up a few bullets trying to make any progress out.

    The most interesting thing is Vice city feels absolutely different in GTA Vice city stories, despite on the fact that the map was changed just a bit. I guess it's related to the fact that Rockstar advanced the colors in the game. What I mean is take a look at the sky, at the buildings at night, it's all look way more fancy and beautiful than in GTA Vice city. Also, it's still the best GTA in terms of fighting system, and the game has one of the best soundtrack. Highly recommend to play this wonderful game to people who for some reason didn't play it.
