I just fitted my Space Shuttle (10283) with a LED kit. It really and literally lightens up the whole model and I will definitely do it again for any larger scale Lego I will be building, including the Titanic 🙂
As you saw in the video it wasn't fun at all. Not sure if it's like this with other companies. I might try another company for a different set in the future.
Great sequel to the other video! Bit expensive for my liking though I’ll just buy some led lights and stick em on the higher decks that will have to do
I did the Rollercoaster, Ferris Wheel, and Disney Castle. Rollercoaster and Ferris Wheel were pretty easy as that was mostly just stringing lights on bars and what not, but my god was the Disney Castle a pain, but the effect is so worth it
I'm a big fan of game of bricks I have every one of my technics cars and collection is lit up and thier customer service is excellent 👌 I haven't built my titanic yet but you better believe it's getting the R/c kit..have a great day and great content 👍
Hey Ginger Bricks - thanks for the great video. Quick question; can you still pull the ship apart to see the inside details, or do the wires make this cumbersome? Cheers!
Hey I know you commented this a year ago, but I just completed the light kit. Short answer: not really. While yes you can, there are some really finicky wire connections that seem too time consuming to dismantle. However, you can separate it about an inch or 2. I did have the sound + remote kit though which did include more lights/wires so that could have affected it.
Hi, question. Do you think the lights are yellow or white, and are they very bright if, for example, the ship were to stand on a shelf in a dark living room for watching TV. Can they be dimmed? and can you use a 220 volt psu, so that you get rid of the battery and the trouble it brings with it, batteries are constantly discharged it feels like. thanks PS I hate bright white led lights
Thanks for making a video on this! I want to light up my set but I'm almost done building now and just don't want to deal with taking stuff apart to put in the lights, and I don't like that cables are visible on deck. Gonna have to think about it more.
Yeah it's not the most fun thing to do but absolutely worth it. There is also another set from light my bricks that is quite expensive. Not sure if the cables are better hid there.
Bought the same one w/remote & sound for my son… seemed best one actually available . I plan on pairing it w/ ‘wireless ‘ connectors so can still take ship apart
I'm a bit late to this party lol, but I just bought the light and sound kit from them and I was hoping your video would help better than the picture instructions they sent, we will see soon
Hi, I’m currently considering buying a light kit for my Lego titanic. And honestly I’m really unsure what to do. There are loads online and I’ve seen a few vids of people installing them, but it’s not that detailed. Also I’m worried I’d mess it up pretty badly installing it. So I want to ask, does the kit come with instructions and how easy are they to understand? And should I get this light set?
From when I got mine, it doesn’t come with paper instructions but you can see them in high detail online. So if any mistakes they can be easily changed which is useful. The photos are very detailed and I found them useful. How long did it take you to construct your Lego titanic?
Hi Ginger Brick Are you able to release the video not in time lapse to help install the kit I have just bought one and worried it might be a bit hard for me to do. Thanks
im 13 and just finished the titanic myself, im debating whether or not if i should get a light kit, should i get one? i also worship and protect my lego titanic with all my life btw...
I’m 15 and just finished it today (took me 2-3 days). It was definitely difficult (especially if you do the sound/remote kit). You need to have steady hands and a lot of patience. Just know that it is much harder to separate the three sections, but in the end I think it is worth it. Maybe wait a couple years (I waited one year to add lights to mine) or maybe try installing a light kit on a smaller set first to try it out (which I wish I had done). There were definitely times I wanted to just go away and quit, so make sure you take your time and read the instructions carefully.
I can’t wait to buy this set. I love the titanic. The lights look awesome.

Way to go, you did it. I purchased a light kit, then after looking at the instructions online, I cancelled it. But you did it, as painful as it was! 👍

i used lightmybricks light kit, looks much better with a dimmer too.

Go check light my bricks

Is the remote worth it? I'm considering buying it.
is the remote Version good ? im thinking about to buy it
So under rated! Your channel is great and hope will do better in the future
Thank you very much. That keeps me motivated! I have to invest in some better gear for recording, but it's hard buying new sets all the time :D

Thank you for the video I think I will get the lighting kit
Glad you liked it. Let me know how it went
Thanks for the video
How long did it take?
How do you get the lights to stick to the bricks?
Is it able to open up?
How did you connect the wires at the back of the ship

Unfortunately I did some mistakes at the beginning so I think my video wouldn't be very helpful.
I got the same one with remote and sound
Is it worth to buy the remote and sound? I'm considering adding it too.
Ciao è possibile vedere o scaricare il video in velocità normale?? Grazie
How hard are they to install im hesitant to pull too much apart
If you do it the right way it's not too bad. It's definitely not the most fun thing to do but manageable.
im 13 and just finished the titanic myself, im debating whether or not if i should get a light kit, should i get one?

Done with the build, and have the kit ready too. How long time did it take you to install it?
For me the the best light kits are from light my bricks 😊😁🙌
They are good but also very expensive. The one for the Titanic is over $200
It's a shame the funnels aren't illuminated. Has anyone added lights to the Home Alone kit? I'm looking for the best Xmas look for my kit. Thanks
The funnels on the real Titanic also weren't illuminated. It's a mistake in the movie.
Lohnt es sich?
if the Titanic had been made of whatever that box was made made of, it would still be afloat today
Looks like you suffered a bit this one I had one for a small Lego hogwarts set which was hell
Yeah it wasn't fun at all :D but the effect is amazing so it was absolutely worth it!
You sound like Great Scott, must be from the same part of Germany 🇩🇪 🤣
Just that I'm not from Germany :D
Can u incest in some sound deadening very echoy
HALLO ICH WETTE DU VERSTJEST MICH ODER ?COOLES VIDEO

The seller is based in Estonia but the product is produced in China and was shipped directly from there.
Like the video but if I ever got a Super Mario tattoo I would kick my own ass,,, Sorry!!
Good that you don't have one in that case.
