No they didnt say the boat would be ugly if they put more life boats. Life boats back then isnt how we see life boats now back then as the atlantic route would be busy as a ship was sinking the life boat would be used to carry people on a damaged vessel to a undamaged vessel so they made it a law so the ships life boats would be measured by the ships gross tonnage or (GT) but the titanic broke the rules a bit. Instead of 16 lifeboats 4 more would be added like colapsable A,B,C,D so yea
Alexander Carlisle is one of the original designers who wanted to add more lifeboats. Although, I don’t get the second part of your statement. Nobody said the lifeboats make the ship ugly, it’s the rules during that time that the lifeboats weren’t added. The belief of improved technology which a ship can send an emergency code for nearby ships to rescue them and the thoughts of the lifeboats making the decks too crowded was the main reasons the ship didn’t have anymore lifeboats. Thomas Andrews, knowing the ship will sink, was the one helping people getting off the ship.
Something to consider,( I've done it), putting seven titanic Lego together into one big,detailed ship. Schedule your best builder friends over to assist you with this unbelievable set experience!!

The lego titanic doesn't cost over $700 it's $630, €630, and £590 (at present time) also it had 20 lifeboats, there is 18 on the lego set (the 2 others are the baguette looking things next to the 1st funnel) also quick suggestion: every once in a while, take the set out and deconstruct it a bit to let it dry, because is you don't dry it every now and then, the pieces could become damaged

I love the ship too! I remember holding my first school presentation on the RMS Titanic and including a portion of the movie as a 10-year old. So fascinating.
I’d say it was definitely worth it! I wish I had the money to get this set. My boys and I would have a blast putting this together, even though they are already grown. I’m definitely sending them this video, they will absolutely geek out over it! I would say each new build is your favorite because you keep topping the last one by leaps and bounds! Which is really hard to wrap your head around because each one is so ultra creative!

I really love this channel, I think that it's very insiteful. When the "I built bikini bottom in a fish tank" came up on my FYP, I was hooked! I have watched almost every video since then and I now really want a fish tank but they are to expensive here in singapore, could you please help me out?
