Just bought this watch with a black dial on a bracelet. It's my first luxury piece and I am loving it. The quality is very impressive and Longines obviously put a lot of thought into it. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and it sits perfectly. After a day on my wrist I think I made a wise decision.

I own all the mid range brands from Rolex, Omega, etc. Longines are going to knock it out the park going forward, mark my words this spirit collection will become the standard everyone expects for under £4k . This is a brilliant GMT in my opinion. I’ve tried it on a few times and it’s oozing quality from every aspect. Proportions, dial layout, movement, buckle and bracelet etc and with great provenance from one of the biggest aviation watch brands out there. It’s been compared to the Tudor a lot, and although the Tudor has an arguably better movement, this has its own identity unlike its direct competitor which is essentially a cheaper Rolex GMT in terms of design language. It deserves its success. Just a shade too big for me, otherwise it would have been seriously considered

I just hate the bezel. I own a BB P01 and tudor bezel actions are a thing of f****g beauty. I’d have bought a Tudor gmt if they didn’t use aluminum bezels.

Having 3 GMTs, (Tudor, Rolex and this). My only complain (comparing to Tudor and Rolex) is that the first step out of the crown to set the hour time for local time is not exactly precise. Is a bit annoying, and also I don't like so much the fact that when you move the hour hand also the minute and GMT hand are not perfectly still but they shake a little. Thanks for another good review so I know what to look at next trip to AD. Longines definitely got the classy look going, and of the 4 in Zulu series I like the black dial, gold numerals/hands with green bezel one the best. But for the $3K for this Longines I would probably look at a Christopher Ward C60 or C63 GMT. Well built and modern looking, better waterproof and decent lume. And if I were to spend my own money (I did just do that) it would be a Sinn 856 S UTC.
