This Nier anime adaptation has been fantastic. It’s not just a 1:1 adaptation, but an alternative story were some of the events deviate from the game. I’m excited to see what comes next and how it’ll all end.

@@mikecool4321 A-1 Pictures already announced a Part 2/Season 2. The episode delays were very annoying, but in the end I was very happy with the 12 episodes we got and I’m excited to see more.
It tells also the story from the mange yorha descent
Possibly one of the best boss fights. Not just because of the fight, but how the boss came to be.
It's really a captivating story... if not _really_ messed up. Despite what she's done, you really feel for the Songstress.

I love how much they translate from gameplay to the anime, like the boss has invincible shield, how you dodge and even use your gadget to slower your jumps
Thank goodness this boss looks like a monster so I didn't need to feel bad about it being taken down...Right?
I'm really enjoying 9S so far, hopefully he *looks my way* sometime soon

When i Saw the Stage i was Totally freaking out, But when the Singer appeared on Stage i was like Please be "a Beautiful song" and Hearing her Singing the first Vocals i got Gosebumps, i Loved this Fight in the Game and love even more how Well they Recreated this Fight in the Anime, with the Same. Damn. EPIC. SONG!

People keep griping about the CG but tbh it's great. Has the exact same feel as the game.

The Simone fight was one of the best in the game glad is getting justice in the anime.

Dont get me wrong I still really like the anime, but It feels like they're missing out on some of the artistic features, in the game it feels like Simone is the one singing and her attacks are only part of the dance. In the anime it just feels like bgm

I’m against adapting such genius games into any other sort of media. Since the extra information between Paul-Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir has to be revealed knowing the context of ending A. Anime only watchers don’t know ending A yet.
But this is still pretty epic.
