I didn’t even know the fact that Tomo is voiced by Rie Takahashi until recently.
She is an actual talent.
She voices Takagi, who practically has a completely different voice for anybody curious.
She was so pumped about her challenge 😂😂
So they managed to get all 8 volumes into 12 episodes.
And it honestly didn’t feel rushed at all
As an anime only i couldn't say i felt it had 8 volumes
But i did think a lot o things happaned in that last episode

Just Finished Episode 13, 10/10 Anime, final verdict.

What's funny is that he actually asked her out way back in middle school. She accidentally friendzoned him right then and there.
"I love you, too, Jun! We'll be *friends forever!*"
"Ah...... right.... friends. Yay."
That's when he immediately went and tried to date Misuzu as an alternative, but it only lasted for a day and he realized it just wasn't the same so he broke up with her. Tomo's full 180 pivot at the start of HS threw him for a loop. He'd accepted his place in the Friendzone and committed long ago. She mostly just confused him. Her trying to be girly made it worse since he didn't fall in love with a *girly* Tomo. There was also the fact that Tomo's dad told him if Jun wanted to date Tomo, he'd have to defeat him first.

If you havent started this anime please do its only 13 episodes but they're all so good, literally not a single episode I didn't thoroughly enjoy plus the story and characters are some of the most wholesome I've ever seen in anime.
