This is my first comment on your videos, but I've been watching for a few months now. I just want you to know that I really appreciate your content. You've taught me a lot about doodling and hand-lettering, but even more importantly, for me, you've helped convince me to try! You're so supportive and kind in your explanations that I started to believe that I could do it! So thank you for all your work and gentle teaching style.
Specifically related to this video, I love the micron pens. I just got them a couple of months ago, and aside from the flexibility the different sizes allow me to have, I love how quickly they dry and that they're waterproof. It's made a huge difference to be able to outline shapes before I watercolor them. Now I want to use some of your techniques to really make the most of having all those subtly different sizes!
I bought the Pigma Micron pens after watching your video & I LOVE them! They are very smooth. I have shaky hands & these really improve that problem. Thank you for your videos!

Just bought the pigma brushes yesterday. But it's 9 brushes with 9 different colours and a "How to do brush lettering book" :) My hobby of 2017. Hope I can find the set you have here in Denmark. Btw I love your videos.

Is it good to ink an entire area like a circle for example?
Late in seeing this video. I recently became interested in drawing mandalas. I used a fine point Sharpie, but as you mentioned, it bled a lot. I'm looking for pens that won't bleed. Micron pens are highly rated, so thank you for this video. I want to buy them, just don't know which thicknesses to buy.
Wonderful! I like having the set since I use different pens for different parts of the same drawing. If you just want to try one out first just remember the higher the number, the bolder it will be :)

Bought the colored pen set by mistake. Not a total loss. I found out that a local art supply store is selling individual pens.

Martina Vitas sometimes michaels has specific markers for sale individually!
They should! I know here in Florida we have a place called Hobby Lobby which has individual pens, pencils, markers, etc. Also check on Ebay or Wish to see if you can find one there!
is the "g" in lettering complete? i think it looks like you missed shading a portion of the letter.

Very cool video, but please don't call anything done by hand a "font!" Fonts come out of machines; lettering styles or hands are done by people. :)
