Hi guys! A few people have mentioned the problem with the camera angles in this video and I totally agree with you. It was my first video and I had some trouble with my over-the-shoulder camera cutting out. Recently I've made some more lettering videos and I think the production quality is better. Please do more of these Shayda. I would especially like to know how you are able to draw it out as a skeleton and then add the thickness to it. That is my biggest challenging when drawing cursive letters.

what paper are you using for this video?
Should horizontal lines be thick or skinny (for example a t)?
Anna Sharp usually only down lines are thick so horizontal would be thin
I hold my pencil the same way! Do you have a bump on your ring finger where the pencil rests? Cause I do (:

I found it really really really helpful.... thanks for posting this video.Because I need to learn lettering for my assignment. so I'm finding a video here in youtube that teaches how to do lettering... in the other videos that I have been watched, beautiful but so hard for beginners like me. then I watched your video and I was amazed because it is a beautiful one and easy at the same time... when I tried, it is so beautiful. I followed your instructions. I did calligraphy style because it's so beautiful! and easy... but the whimsical block lettering is also beautiful... thanks again.:-)

It's a bad habit she picked up when she learned first how to write, that her teacher should have corrected but didn't. Lots of people hold their pen like this.
well i would LOVE to use some handlettering and illustrations in my school notes but i think that will take a lot of my time :(

oh, at end of videos, could you snap a couple pics of the full alphabet? I just did the hey bae. but I would like to see your entire alphabet because at my age, I don't see the opportunity to use that phrase coming up to often, LOL. (Sadly, no bae).
