Wouldn’t that mean that Peter didn’t actually make a mistake?
I found a micron 0.8 at school.
luckyyyyy
U lucky soul
Bruh i remember find 1 of Pentels rare pens at school
Linny the Guinea lucky -w-
where do you live cos i lost my 0.8 at school
So I was watching your videos while searching for a pen in the background. And I found this pen so I searched it on RUclips and clicked the top video.
Heard your voice, checked the channel, holy crap how do I always stumble upon you.
These pens are great except for the fact that they run out of ink very quickly compared to some others. But then again they are fairly cheap, so in a way it evens out
Peter Zurawsky is it a pen or marker
How refill?
@@kalexis6484 it’s pen and wow that comment was one year agi
@@Aryaaan-y8x you can’t
Dude at the end he literally uses all the types of pens to fill in and doesn't even run out.
i love how he turned his mistake into an element of the peice
Noice
I've used these for about 30 years, and they work very well. I've recently started getting Faber Castell manga pens, which dry a little quicker, but these Micron pens last longer. Both are very good tools for the artist.
I bought these a few minutes ago and wanted to look for reviews. This was amazing. New subscriber.
Absolutely enjoyed your video on the micron pens I use them for journaling they are the best thus far
this video was really helpful! I was gonna make a quick purchase but forgot to figure out which size I needed, thanks for the helpful video!
I use a Faber Castell small pen, and that was my first pen I actually use for drawing. I started discovering the power of pens a few days ago. Then i couldn't stop. I created the greatest piece of art in my life so far. People at school LOVED it. I now know where i stand in the art world. It took a while, but i found my callin'. thanx! you Inspired me peter! that how I came up with the drawin!
I recently bought a pack of pigma micron pens because of you and i love them, ty so much for all the effort and work you put into these vidios :D
Dude, I draw with BIC. I need to get some of these
Thiago Hospitaleche I alsol draw with Bic I'm broke
Thiago Hospitaleche yeah they are amazing pens. Just as good as the 10 dollar for 1 copic pen. And that’s top of the line.
Big pens are amazing , just look up Jennifer Johansson and be amazed by what she does
F
Just bought this pack! VERY excited to use them
Thank you for the info, I never knew they were originally meant for drafting, also, your narration style is funny😁
I just started using Microns & these videos are very helpful. Thanks...
i've loved these pens forever and i happened to find markers that blend really well with them for inking!
no my dear, that chapter is done. Which markers? I hope you don't say copics, I'm trying to find some cheaper alternatives XD
Shivani Bathija I dont use copics when inking, instead i use pernament markers mainly berol they work pretty well for a cheap price.
these pens are the best I've tried! Their ink flows surprisingly well, and no fuzzy lines have appeared. I use a 1mm and 0.35 mm pen for my inking, and I love it! They might be a bit pricey for starting artists, but I think their worth it. I've no problems with them. Maybe those Faber Castell pens are better, but I bet their a ton of money! That why personally I recommend these, and not some unknown edding pens that are like 10 cents
Where i live the pens cost almost $5 each! time to order off of amazon
Hi Peter, Thanks for the informative video. I was wondering if you could help with a query.
I bought similar pens by Staedtler and was quite frustrated when using them, mainly because of how I needed to hold the pens almost vertical of the flow stopped causing a broken line. I wonder if this is something which is common with this pen type of was it something I was doing wrong ! Thanks
Having fun with looking around. An interesting thing about the plain old Papermate 1.0 ,which you can find 60 for about 20 bucks, is the range from light to real black you can get from them. I draw on newspaper, and I can go from barely there to solid black. In other words it can draw like a hard graphite pencil or a normal pen. Worth knowing about.
I keep re-watching this because of your voice 😌✨
Which pen is used for shading, colouring and drawing in number 3,5,8
maybe you could help me, i just bought these pens to draw on veg tan leather. it start working and then it won't work any more. i tried the same thing with the sharpie paint pens and the same thing. any thoughts??
rob
In addition to finding them on Amazon I've also found a good buy on Ebay for the Micron pens. $12.99 for a set of 7 sizes in one package.
I really love felt tips for taking my college notes, what thinness would be best? I like thin writing because it makes my bubbly writing neat suggestions?
If I am starting, which one should I buy first? Will 0.5 be okay? I need to start with one then I'll gradually buy the rest.
Ur voice is so soothing I’m about to fall asleep
Do the pigma microns bleed through? I'm a medical student and take notes on printer paper on both sides so I'm trying to find a pen with the feel of using a mechanical pencil but I have to switch to pens because all my old notes smeared over time. I have considered buying 32 lb hp premium printer paper to avoid bleeding but I don't want to buy the microns until I am sure they won't bleed through, what's your thoughts? Thanks!
This video is awesome! I look forward to more Pen Review videos in the future. I personally love the Sakura pens but would really love to see a Pen Review video for the Copic fineliners you mentioned you're currently using as I am considering adding to my pen collection and would love to hear more about them (from you) :D
these pens are good i guess but something happened to my 005 and the nib is smaller & i accidentally left the brush pen without a cap for a hour and it the nib is fuzzed up
Just ordered them yesterday on Amazon cuz i found one on the floor and it works so good
How much was it?!
Several of mine went dry before I even got to use them. Very disappointing. Now looking for some way to revive them.
my sakura micron 01 feels a little scratchy on normal writing paper . is this normal?
Could you please make more of these pen review videos? You have inspired me to maybe try and get back into drawing and art stuff, but I am not sure what kind of pen to get. Your opinion on this would mean a lot to me, and I'm sure a lot of other people as well. Thanks!
thanks for this review i am currently using a fine point fountain pen, basically what i already had this looks like a good route...
The ink flow on these are the best ive come across, so far, lets see!
peter what are your thoughts on pigma's brush pen? in general do you use brush pens at all?
Thanks for the video and review. Found it very helpful in comparing the width of the various size nibs. :)
Thank you so much. This was extremely helpful!
Been using Microns forever and they are simply one of the best pens ever.
Do you prefer thin tipped felt or gel pens? If you like gel tips, I can recommend the Uni Signo UMN-155 (RT1). They are archival proof as well, and the sizes available are .28 mm and 38 mm. The reason I asked is I do not like felt tips as they seem thicker than their tip sizes, and with the Micron, as people said, the ink runs out FAST.
This video was great! I hope u can review the copic multiliner sp pens :)
Which is good for outlining anime drawings?
just don't drop them! I ruined my 005 today.😢:-( :-( :-(
My 003 Microns Basically Destroys itself just by drawing with light pressure
Hi, can you link ink for these?
Id like a list of your books.
Ones you made and ones youve bought.
whats the difference between fineliner and micron pen?
Do you recommend them for Dot Work?
Peter Draws its a great drawing! thanks for you videos your colorpaper princess
Mine leak how do you keep them from leaking?
Is this good or not? Thank you.
Whyyyy do you leave the caps off of your pens when you use another? Even if it's only for a minute it still drives me crazy lol
What paper do you use ???
However when I used them, my favorite 0.05 Pen's nib got shoved up. But ig its prefferable to use that for inking manga eyes ,I don't recommend inking a whole pic with that one pen doe.
I got the copic multiliners and most of em are junk. It seems like all of them appart from the 0.3 cant even hold a solid line when going faster which is essential for creating smooth lines. I got a bunch of faber castel ones and they seem to work a lot better. Ie. They actually hold a line. So im interested to see if these are any good. And it seems like u enjoy them and rate them.
These are my absolute favorite pens to draw with.
hi! thank you for the video very helpful. wish i had seen thia before i penciled my most recent piece. thanks again@
0.03 is my favorite but I don't think Sakura has it? I use Uni
What pens do u use
As some of you probably know, 0.2mm lead mechanical pencils have poor longevity, and I'm looking into finding a comparable drawing pen. But which one has the same line thickness as a 0.2mm pencil lead? Do I just get a 0.2mm drawing pen?
What about the 0.4 micron pen?
I just ordered them and im excited to use them. 🙈
have you ever used Staedtler pigment linear pens????
Do you use any other pens ?
I have an A5 artists sketch book, and I have found that both fine tip sharpies and Rotring Tikky Graphic pigmented ink (0.1 0.3 and 0.5) all bleed through the paper. Do you know if the pens in this video are likely to bleed through the paper as well? Also, could other types of paper that are rougher damage the tips of fine tip pens?
My Experience with the Pigma Micron is, that they don't bleed trough the paper at all. If you use Very thin paper, sure they could but everything thicker than copypaper including copypaper iself will be fine.
This is an oldie, Pete. Good lil review, Pete. Thanks, Pete. Later, Pete. 👍
Glad I found this. Thanks.
I am definetly buying these pens because they look helpful for my comic book
Great video! Thank you 🙏
I have been looking for better pens for my own doodling.... I think I'll give them a try!!! Thanks!!!
Is that a mini barrage?
I have a set of these pens and I love them
I found the ultimate drawing pen. A drawing monitor using Mango Studio and laser printer. Man, I can draw anything FAST! I did order a set of these but purely for nostalgia reasons.
Great video thanks for the demonstration 👍🏻👌🏼🖌✒️🖋🖋🖊
I have questions anyone might answer; does the thickness of the pen body affect the way you draw lines?
and, Peter, do you ever use colour?
The thickness of the pen body affectes how you hold the pen, therefore, it will cause a change, usualy a very small one, and it might change back as you get used to the pen.
I just got micron pens and have no idea what I’m doing with them. I just use them for stippling
I'm more interested in the pocket knife an it's brand tht used in the beginning but I guess I'm wierd I use these pens to doodle to I'm not an artist I just play with in an paper
I don't personally care for Micron, but I'm glad to see you love them and use them to make such beautiful pieces :D
Thanks for sharing, very informative
When to use them will be usefull
I bought them to draw, they seem to be pretty good.
i found a 01 while strolling in work. Found myself in a rabbit hole of an addiction to pens now, 7 months later.
Any of you people taken these pens in their hand luggage on a plane? 4 penns out of my set of six where leaking when I wanted to use them after a flight.
So, bought a new set.
This time we went by car into the Alps, 1400 mtr above sea level, and again pens were leaking. Arn't pens supposed to be resistend to these pressure differences?
I need those pens right now.
I want 005 pen for repoint sharpner pls
🖤My fav are the 08(0.50mm) and 02(0.30mm)🖤
CURIOUS AS TO MY AWARENESS OF CONCERNED IS DO THEY BLEED THROUGH? I MAKE CLASSIC FLIPBOOK ANIMATION AND I WAS TIRED OF DRAWING OR COLORING IN A NICE PIECE OF THE ART WORK; HENCEFORTH, JUST SO IT CAN BLEED THROUGH ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THE PAPER THAT I HAD PLAN ON USING.
My first pen love was the zebra hard extra fine brush pen...
Im a learning artist and I stumbled across these pens. I was wondering, If once they run out of ink, can I replace it somehow? Or I should just get another pack?
thanks!
Utele Uteliox They're disposable pens. You can't replace the ink. Still, they're worth the money imo :).
We're can you find these? Are they easy to find?
HyperDimension Rafy, a six pack of the pens can be found for around 10 USD on Amazon.
Do you need to buy ink for these or does the ink already come in?
+Call out to god They're disposable
What's the best paper to use these pens on? I've ordered them online and still waiting for the delivery. I intend to use them for making Zentangles (or just line art).
I also Zentangle and have a couple of suggestions for the type of paper I like to use. My journal preference is the Hand Book Artist Journals (the company is Hand Book Journal Co.) to carry with me. The paper is heavy and has a good tooth, very similar to the tiles included in the Zentangle kit, if you've ever used those.
For use at home or in studio, I have found the Bee Paper Company, Heavy Vellum Drawing Pad to be my personal favorite. It truly has excellent tooth and since the pages are held in a tape bound pad, the come out very easily. The best part is both the drawing pad and journal are inexpensive!😉
+Salman Ravoof Haha..
Thats what I was going to do with my pens too. Zentangle.
I wish I found this video before I bought my pen because I got the 0.25mm thinking it was the biggest size because I was only looking at the 01 part
No brush?
AWESOME UPLOAD I APPRECIATE IT!!!👍👍👍 IVE SUBSCRIBED!!!
Whenever I go to an art store their usually around 20$ for a pacK of 4.However it comes with an earasee that I lOVE and a fancy looking pencil. But sadly that's the only pack they offer.Unless u buy each pen seperatly for about $5
I use copic markers even though I only have one copic original that I use for filling in and darkening lines
Ps don't make fun of me for only having one good marker we have all been broke kids at one point in life
i don’t even have one copic
When you don't even have one copic
I'm planning on buying one
how much Was the six pack of pens? I wanna know i dont want to buy the fake ones on amazon😥😢
I dunno, maybe like $15
