Raven can actually chain crouch dashes for a wavedash even more similar to the mishimas. Similar in that he can dash as many times as he wants. If you start a shadow sprint or crouch dash and then go neutral, then repeat down-forward, neutral, down-forward neutral, he'll dash over and over again. The trick is to do it before raven stands back up.

I know, I just wanted to show “the easy way” because it doesn’t involve any neutral inputs. And that’s what I use. I tried leaning the way you are talking about but I found it too clunky. It’s good for styling on people though.

​@@TheMavenDojo I agree. Plus it gets tiring (I'm a pad player).
Unlike a regular mishima wave dash, its easer to execute and its more lenient on the inputs.
And the window to cancel to another wave dash is so much bigger.
Than raven's crouch dash canceling.

I just cannot seem to figure out how to do the crouch dash on pad 😢 doing the d,df,d input but Raven’s just crouching in place

Don't know if you've figured it out but for me it helps placing my thumb solely on the down button, and then VERY slightly tilt nudge it towards the right button, but you basically dont touch it and never let go of the down button
This works for me at least so i hoped it makes sense

The one issue I have is that his df3+4 I have trouble doing after I wavedash, whenever I try to use it, it keeps going into soulzone even though I'm holding down df while trying to attempt it

Probably a timing thing, because you can’t do in the “middle” of the dash. Try delaying for a split second.
