- We 1st met this company at the Suncoast Tiny House Festival in Pinellas Park Florida in 2022. They've grown a lot since then! Quality is very good!
Wow... perfect for one person or a couple. Homes like this could help areas struggling with homelessness. Building a super affordable tiny home community has always been a dream of mine. Thank you for sharing!
Your welcome. This is apparently a new Model (the placard said "regularly $29,900"), but it's not on their website yet. They have a model called the Rasa that's reasonable, too, with 2 usable lofts. They usually have stock of these on hand.
This model now has a name and is on their website. It's called The Shanti.
If you buy the land let me know! I will come help you!
Beautiful design. They fit so much into such a little home.
I really love this simple design. You can set it up however you like.
@@reynetallents I love the dining table and chairs. I'd keep that feature.
Perfect size 😊
Yep!
I LOVE THE ROOF PITCH.... I've been advocating for either that pitch or the opposite, with the high side on kitchen wall. Either way the pitch allows for a mirror image deck and roof add on... Just build adjacent deck. Then close in... And eventually insulate and finish out.... A roof pitch like that allows you to buy half a house basically...at an AFFORDABLE price... Finished out nicely... And then, at your pleasure build on the second half as you can, in stages, within your meand financially, a stage at a time. This is a great alternative to the incredibox.... GREAT FIND REYNE :) Love this model :)
Thank you very much. It's a sweet little house for sure. I met the owners several years ago and watched them grow and build better and better products.
@@reynetallents ...where are they based out of ?
Loving that model. Thank you Reyne!! So nice to see wooden cabinets, fridge under cabinets (DECA washer dryer would go nicely there as a floorplan alternative). Would alter toilet placement to mimic incredibox. LOVE the all wood handmade door :)
I Love the wood door on the bathroom, too, and would definitely like the toilet and sink switched around.
@@reynetallents ...exactly ...
I built something like this do $9,000. Why are these so expensive?
So yours is 8x20, painted and stained, with drywall? And on a properly built trailer, designed to hold the weight (with at least two 3,500lb. capacity axels)? All brand new materials? If not, then there's no comparison.
And they have a shop to pay for, workers and workmen's Comp. Ins. plus SS and Medicare for the workers to pay for, Taxes, and some profit. That's why.
Always cheaper to do it yourself, and get it just the way you like it, made to your own needs... But with lumber prices etc, 9K would be hard for most people to pull off. That's a fantastic build price. Wish I had the skills to build.
Love the wood trim!!! Would like to see that on an ibox
Yes!
It is great!!! One EXCEPTION!- many cities/counties- DO NOT ALLOW TIMY HOMES!!
True, but a lot do, and changes are happening. DC allows people to rent their backyard to a Tiny Home, and many cities in CA are allowing ADU's (accessory dwelling unit). Some counties in Florida allow you to live in an RV full time on your own land.
A problem I'm seeing are where places that allow them in a backyard or on your own land is, they want them on a foundation (which increases costs).
A way around your County laws is check with long term RV parks or Mobile home parks. Not ideal, but a place to land while you advocate for your area. Things aren't going to change until we speak up, and get other like minded people to speak up with us. Go to local Zoning meetings.
Exactly.
Nice.Thanx 4 showing other Incredibox- Style options.
You're welcome. He isn't the only game in town anymore, thankfully. This model weighs 6,000lbs, still light considering it's made of wood.
I haven't been to them yet, but there's another company in Florida called Craftsman Tiny Homes that makes an I-Box style as well. It's called The Bunk, similar pricing and some DIY, with options to have it completely finished if you want. Around the same weights as an I-Box, but it can be lighter if they use beadboard instead of drywall.
I don’t see the water heater or A/C
It has a tankless water heater, but I didn't look for where. I don't think this one had an AC, it was a Show Special. They're normally placed just past the kitchen on the same wall.
You can call or email them and ask for a video walkthru, they're willing to do that.
This build may have been a prototype, as it is not shown on their website. A similar model, with a tankless water heater and a mini-split HVAC unit, is priced at $40K.
@@daviduribe3111 no, its a regular model, but they only advertise it on Facebook Marketplace. Not sure why.
$29,900.
They've changed the bathroom layout a little, with toilet and vanity to the right, shower to the left, so you aren't looking at the toilet with the door open.
@@daviduribe3111 the $40,000 model, the Rasa, has two usable bedroom lofts, one with stairs and the other with an included ladder. And it has a W/D hookup.
That's a good switch up
Why don’t put two single beds length wise facing each other which can be used as 2 couches like they do in some RVs? If two people have to sleep there they will not have to climb over the other.
It comes unfurnished, so you can set it up however you like.

Thank you for finding this Reyne!!
Wow! Do they make a 10x20 or 10x30?
Not at this time. Only 8x20 and 8x24 sizes.
I thought it was an Incred-I-box, looks likes it.
It's similar, but the bathroom is laid out different and it comes with many amenities that are extras with the Incred-I-Box.
@@reynetallents at least from the outside. I would have switched the sink and toilet around.
Yes definitely would prefer those swapped too
@@susanpratt3290 oh, I agree.
So basically it’s a shotgun shack on wheels?
Pretty much, but it's a nice one. It's only 6,000lbs, so they claim, which is lighter than a lot of travel trailers out there. They rearranged the bathroom now so the toilet isn't visible with the door open, so it's an even better layout.
Reyne, right at the end... Noticed an egress might fit in the Loft on the side wall... Looks almost tall enough
It's really just meant to be a storage loft.
@@reynetallents ...gotcha ..thanks
$29,900.00??? That's so funny! The "shanni" we lived in , as a child, was my Poppies old hunting cabin, lol
This is far from an old shack.
I was in this home, it's very well built. Very reasonable, considering the cost of materials & Labor these days.
I'm picturing a coat rack to the right of the bathroom
Had the same thought!
@@reynetallents ....saw a video by porcupine trading company ....a tiny home like hers would also be a show stopper to travel with ...not sure where she go it from ...it looks like one of Brad kittle/Darby's kit homes from Texas tiny homes ...anyways, got distracted, my point was that i saw a video...the one mentioned...and in it, when you enter her tiny home, there is rough sawn barnwood ....also love that when entering on the right ...that barnwood would also look great in the "coat rack area" in the home you featured here ... not making sense today, sorry , too many videos...was up late : ) tiny home addicted / inspired ...im not on facebook ...is anybody featuring the finishing out of the incrediboxes other than on facebook ? as we are just about to get started with ours ...we will be looking for networking with folks as we are far from where our home will be. it will need finishing out, and then managing ....we are just starting that adventure ...feels like standing at the open door of a plane .... feeling the urge to jump, but still staring out the door ....countdown started : ) gulp ...here we go .... hope you are well...
