We had a fun stay at The Big Stump tiny house (named after The Big Stump beach, 1-block away). Along with the tour, we share our thoughts on whether or not we think it's full-time tiny house living suitable or better as a short-term rental. What do you think? 🏡✨👉 *Check out this incredible full-time gooseneck tiny home (one of our favs!):* ruclips.net/video/v0i3cspYFVY/видео.html
I loved this style of video- you guys dissecting the rental from a full time living perspective! This is so helpful for someone really considering going tiny!
My very first impression inside: that railing is so physically & visually intrusive! I get that they needed something secure for a rental, but even painting it white would help. The bathroom & main bedroom are cool. As a retired attorney, I worry about that tiny crawl-thru space. I'm sure there's an egress window in the bedroom, but in an emergency, if an adult needed to retrieve a child, that could prove difficult. As always, a great, informative, balanced video review!
We liked your criticism, as it was fair. You pointed out the strong as well as the weak points of full-time living in this tiny home. Ourselves, we liked how spacious the bathroom was, but as you said, it comes at a cost of having a smaller countertop. We liked the skylight, as we like stargazing lol! :D Great tour guys!
Considering the size of this house, and what must have been a considerable cost to build it, I'm blown away by the critical design flaws! Still, it boasts some seriously superior features!
I felt like they pointed out a lot of design flaws as well. But I think ALL houses tiny or not have them. I wonder what their own Tiny House looks like and what design flaws their MUST have. Wonder if they got permission to dissect these people property on RUclips like they are. It could very well cost them some future renters.
I agree with most of your assessments. I'd would prefer more kitchen counter space vs. bathtub. I'd also would like a stovetop and oven, collapsible dining table or counter with stools. I'd probably extend the kitchen into that extra downstairs bedroom with the Murphy bed. As for the heavy banister for the floating stairs, I'd put a lightweight rail with those wires or maybe plexiglass to provide more transparency. Better yet, utilize that downstairs bedroom space to somehow build a stairway that's out of the way. I do like the height of the TV though. The upstairs bedroom wall with the micro door doesn't work for me. Jenny
🙋🏻♀️. I definitely agree with the fact you have pointed out. Railing, a smaller bathroom don’t get me wrong. That bath tub was beautiful but I’m with you on more counter space. The height in the gooseneck was great but could have been more planned out for a better layout for being a three bedroom Tiny. Maybe it was built only for short term rental. Great review you guys.🏠
The sun shining in the sky light is a mid-day issue. In the early morning the sun will be too low to shine through. I think the three bedroom design was specific for it being a rental. Though three bedrooms full of people would be crowded in the living space especially as there is no table.
Seating as well. I remember seeing a genius idea on some TV show about tiny homes where they had 5 seats inside of one, and the cushions on the bottom sides came off to make the tops of said extra 4 seats. It was such a good idea! It can just act as a regular little seat during the day, or a foot rest, come busy times, suddenly you have 4 extra seats.
Oh man! Hard pass on needing to go through the bathroom to get to the main bedroom! As a kid, sleeping at my cousin's house, we would routinely get stuck in her bedroom because you had to go through the bathroom to get to it! I promise, you will be late for breakfast if grandpa or grandma goes into the bathroom before you are ready to leave the bedroom! Ugh. Unless you're fond of climbing out windows and sliding down the woodpile like we did, find a better way!😂
I agree on all points. Like you said, for full time living (FTL), you’d need a place for a hamper and more storage for supplies. The lower “bedroom” could double as a dining area, or triple as the tv area, giving the much more kitchen space needed to be FTL. Plus, then, you’d be able to keep that large bathroom! The intended kids’ room door would be fun for them up to a HS age, but not beyond. The “Master” bed was situated incorrectly. The room was obviously designed to have the headboard at the front of the unit, (heads under the skylight). One of the reading lamps was too far away to be of any use other than ambient lighting. The only other I could see for FTL would be the lack of rebuild ability. Everything is finished out nicely, but what happens if you want to change something? Great video guys! Keep them coming, and we hope to see you at Skoolie Palooza 2021 in January!
I’m bummed that the bed didn’t lift to expose more storage. Also, the stairs were crazy distracting to me personally. Lastly, was the tub and. They lost so much room adding the tub and I wish they would have added storage or and true closet. Oh, that lost room was a waste if good space used different bc I’d go crazy in that box
I actually really love this design as a 2 bedroom. Especially the walk through the bathroom to the bedroom. I could see this being extremely comfortable for a person new to tiny homes with only a few adjustments. Plus these bedrooms are the first I’ve seen that seem like they’d actually be functional long term.
We just built our first tiny shed house conversion & you learn very quickly that you definitely want the cool factor, but everything needs to be beautiful AND serve a purpose.
Wow! This is the most realist, down to earth, most comfortable, cool, honest tiny home COUPLE that I’ve ever seen!!! They tell it like it is; they’re fun, truly honest, realistic and down to earth! They don’t sugar coat it and it make it seem like it’s all peaches and roses. Thank you for a true depiction and review. I would love to see more critiques of tiny homes from you!
Amazing is two stand-up rooms in a Tiny house. The bathroom is amazing too but I would have opted for a shower-tub combo, which could allow to extend the kitchen. Regarding the third room I would choose a ladder because for me it would be a storage room only. Without the stairs in the living room the place would offer much more space - perhaps for a table as well.
I agree with the tub/shower, it’s still essentially a 2 bedroom w/loft in terms of usability. Love the ladder idea. Those stairs look good but aren’t very practical for the space.
The railing is awesome!! I watch these tours and this is the 1st time I thought "Finally, a set of stairs that I would feel SAFE using!"! I'm older, with arthritis of knees and numbness in both arms. Could It be a little smaller? Yes. It could also be painted a lighter color. Besides that I luv it and that tub, a must!
As we get older, these kind of gooseneck tiny homes would be a sound investment. I LOVE the Murphy bed concept and the stand bedroom. I agree that the bath is a complete disaster in the area on lost space. A Shower/ toilet with pedestal sink could gain ALOT of storage space. The stairs would defiantly have to be re-thought to make this a winner. Did anyone catch the square footage? Also, does it require a different floor plan in a gooseneck design?
Maybe they made a small kitchen and larger bath for a more "vacation vibe" rental. Personally, I don't like anything about this house except the bathtub. Great tour though!
It is a nice design. I am not a fan of loft spaces, but to each their own. In the bathroom, I would have done a tub/shower combo to squeeze out a tiny bit more space. I love my kitchen space! Loved your review. You brought up a lot of things I feel like people don't think about. Also, love murphy beds.
I loved the video and the overall tiny house. I think that when it comes to the hand railing the issue is the color. The black color is too harsh next to the floating stairs. I didn't see a washer or dryer
Oh yeah I didn't even think about that but it was definitely a missed opportunity because if I'm renting short term I would rather have clean clothes than a bathtub
I disagree. I don't think the problem is the aesthetic, I think the problem is functional. These aren't storage stairs, there's no function other than to get up to the loft. Therefore, using a ladder of any kind would have been a better choice. You'd free up a ton of space that is currently not being used at all. Also, I'm not so sure the floating stairs were a good idea for a staircase. They look incredibly unstable when this couple was walking up.
This would be PERFECT for me and my daughter. I just use my InstaPot and Air fryer. I LOVE my bubble baths but I take lots of showers. I just would make the door for the kids bedroom a bit taller. Otherwise, this is perfect for me.
I would say that designing for a rental is completely different from designing for fulltime living. I think they made good choices with a small kitchen, larger bathroom, and 3 sleeping spaces to maximize guests. As a guest these things would be important to me as well. Great video and interesting to hear your thoughts. BLESSINGS-Kate
I love the exterior and the outside deck area. It's a visually striking exterior but, the interior could have been planned better. I've seen much smaller tiny homes with alot more storage and more surfaces. Love the full bath tub. The shower could have been incorporated into the tub which would have allowed for a larger living/kitchen space and more surfaces or storage in those areas. Also that staircase across from kitchen should have been built with storage under each step.
You can tell between the tv and the bed side lights that the bed was intended to face the the other way (so you see the headboard when you walk in) and they moved it up against the wall to give people floor space and my guess so people could put their suitcases under the bed. Definitely makes a difference that it is a rental instead of a house.
Yeah that was a rather unfortunate mistake lol "Measure twice, cut once." In fact, when it comes to tiny homes, "measure THRICE, cut once." is probably more apt. Taking them apart for maintenance is even more painful due to the small cramped space, there's nowhere else to go! lol Even better if you plan ahead for potential moving of things just for changing things up, you can still allow for some freedoms in layout if you design properly. Plenty of wall sockets is always a good simple way, non-fixed furnitures if you want to redesign some stuff, hooks to hold them in to the floor or against walls can keep them having a disco when you are moving around. This is definitely a measure 10 times cut once approach though! You need to have some god-like foresight to see what potential ways you might want to re-arrange things over time and potential issues you could face.
Loved your comments..Seems great for a rental because a whole family could stay there short time… Can’t imagine living in it the way it’s set up just would not be comfortable..But Thanks ..that was fun!!
Good dual perspective of owner vs rental. I personally got the bathroom with a shower and separate bathtub. Been years if not over a decade of not using the bathtub to bathe, showering has been my way of living. Would change the size of the tub for a smaller tub version and place the shower inside with a seating space. So the tub could be used for those larger blankets. Have a combo washer-dryer as I don't use laundromats, and get the option of hanging the washing when the weather permits. Above the washer-dryer, have racks with the bottom hinged to iron the clothes and have packing space for the not ironed items and bathroom/clothes washing essentials. Keep the stairs, but switch the kitchen to under the stairs and have an L shaped kitchen with counter space. Close the stairs off for pantry space. Thus freeing up the now kitchen with a french or sliding door and a full length deck on the opposite side with an awning as an entertainment area. The cramped door, larger as I hate small the claustrophobic door space. Have a balcony with catwalk to the other loft. Smaller plant boxes for herbs and some plants to get nature in and fresh herbs to use in the cooking. The catwalk making it an experience of space to walk to the other bedroom, and it doesn't need to be 6' in height, I'm about 5'8½. With some extra storage for the not in use every day items put there, as well as shoes, arts and crafts. Bedrooms more packing spaces and floor to ceiling cupboards. Change the skylight to the other seasons clothing storage with the whole ceiling, and selected doors to gain access and not needing to climb. Downstairs bedroom, keep the murphy bed, just have pivoting shelves and workbench that becomes the base support, so slash office/study/arts and crafts room. Living space, get an island or mini wall that acts as a table and storage, fold up chairs, but then again have the larger deck for entertainment. TV or large monitor facing the couch to distinguish between a sleeping space and watching programs. Small yet large enough wood burner in matt black or purple for a pop of color to heat my toosh in winter. All as a permanent living space and my readjustments.
Probably one of the better uses of "Tiny Homes" is for fairy tale vacation rentals. RE: complaints about the stair railing - at the same time that tiny devotees decry not being allowed everywhere because of "regulations", they want to flout common sense safety by usually having interior staircases with no outside railing. Not mentioned in virtually every tiny video is that features like that teeny upstairs door would prevent a fire fighter or other emergency personnel wearing safety gear from entering. Tiny Tranquility is a cute place with the tiny homes as the resort feature.
I love the look and agree with many of the comments, (skylight good in a bathroom, etc). The small bedroom off the living area would be great used as extra living area..Then adding fold out walls to encapsulate a separate work/sleep area when needed.. Like tgat the whole area isn't taken up with kitchen counters as who makes everything to eat all at once? Add a fold out counter at the end over the couch that folds up as a partition if absolutely more is needed.. 💜
I love the bath tub in there. Why not put the shower over the bath and make more storage space? That's a whole wardrobe space for example. OR, put the loo where the shower is, move the shower/bath closer to it and create a little more space on that side for a small robe or bank of draws and then put a full robe where the loo currently is plus some more linen storage in the bathroom.... There are many ways to design and build one of these babies. So just a thought, not a diss.
I loved the outside of this tiny home rental, especially the use of color and the privacy screen. On the inside, the triangle window in the front area is amazing - love it! The upstairs bedroom is fit for a hobbit or a child but being as it’s a rental, the coolness and wow factors should at least be good for a few laughs. I agree that the banister is very large, but if I owned this rental, it would stay in place for safety reasons. For a rental, this place looks great. It’s not meant to be used as a longterm solution and is clearly not designed that way, but it makes an excellent example of what to look for when planning your own tiny home. Overall, I think the home is nice and I really enjoyed this video!
I don’t live in a tiny home but I live in a small bungalow. I have taken tiny home principles to work out my space issues. I have freed my mind on how to work my space to live functionally. I’m happier and find life easier. At one point in time I had 5 people living here because of the economy a little bit of an issue with only one bathroom but we made it. That tiny home is definitely set up for temporary stays not permanent living. The day to day activities would become irritating. Thank you for your show just wanted you to know you inspire even beyond just tiny home living. Oh my square footage is approx 912 square feet if you were wondering how I managed 5 people.
You made lots of great comments and I agree with everything you said about the rental. I would not like a tiny home like this for full time living and probably not on my vacation agenda either.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. Really great for a rental but not so practical for full time living. Love the gooseneck bedroom (except the tv placement)….would definitely lose the tub and gain more kitchen space. Great video as usual, guys!!
Love it! The key to successfully living in a tiny house is to make every single inch count. Like the storage under the stairs in the bathroom. Or eliminating the bathtub. I don't see the logic in having the shower/ tub as separate entities in a tiny home. I agree that some kinda table is necessary- makes life easier. And finally the privacy screen, wicked cool both in function & appearance. Would definitely invest in 1 if it was my tiny home!🌃🎃 🏡
A beautiful nicely designed tiny home. Some of the things mentioned of course make sense if you lived there, but a fantastic job otherwise. The skylight in the bedroom is generally hot without the shade which is why some opt-out of it.
I love the place. Personally I would have wanted storage stairs instead of floating stairs. As for the bathroom I agree it's nice but they wasted space. Also I love your Meow Wolf shirt. That place is so cool
Have to agree with pretty much everything. An option you could do with that bathroom for more shelving is a drop-down shelf above the bath. Might mean making the window a little taller, or having a taller one up next to the wall / shower that latches on, but it's doable for sure. That way you can keep the bath and still have the shelving when you need either. That staircase just screams for a small handrail and glass panels floating off it. It'd look so nice. Align the glass panels with the steps as well. It'd fit so nicely. That crawl-space door is obscenely tiny lol, I think most drain access hatches have more clearance! They definitely need to up the size of that for sure. Don't go too small, even if it is just for kids, you still need to get up there in emergencies or to clean things occasionally! This is coming from a person that'd favor crawl-spaces for efficient use of height, but even I think that's too small for regular use and I'm thin as it gets. Another option at that gooseneck section is raising the floor up ever so slightly to get some ground storage for a bunch of stuff, and have deep storage under the bed. Or, as I would personally have it, a half-height bed with space under it like you'd typically see in van conversions. You could fit a LOT of clothes under there hung up and still have space to sit up on the bed above.
I like the railing and the way it's placed. To me the railing on pushes you out to the edge of the stairs making it more likely to fall off such narrow steps.
Its cute...just gotta have a doorway closet, gotta have broom closet' *vacuum. Love the drawer dishwasher....ever neat...love the full fridge, gotta have drawers in the stairs for extra storage.love the murphy bed, extra space for table * laptop room.Love the tub!! Im a morning person....but not a fan of skylights
Your critique of this gigantic tiny house was spot on. A tinyer house could have so much more well thought out amenities. When I'm ready to buy one next summer, I'd love for you to critique it for me 😊 before the purchase.
It’s a very cute TINY HOME but I would love a little bigger if I was buying one . This is cute but really loved the bathroom I like a bigger Kitchen a bigger bedroom and bigger living room also but it is very nice I just like a lot bigger TINY HOME THANKS FOR THE TOUR ENJOY 😉
I love Goose neck designs and I think that is the first one I have seen were the bedroom is over 5' 10" high. Fantastic! Makes me want one even more since I have always been leary due to the lack of bedroom height. I am 6". Thank you for the video.
My husband and I are trying to figure out how to build our family a tiny home and this was super helpful! We want three bedrooms so us and our two kids have privacy but definitely would want more counter space and an oven/stove. We also want a bathtub but combined with a shower. I watch a lot of tiny house videos and this one didn't use the space as well as most tinier houses I've seen but this is a rental so it does make sense. Still beautiful.
I have watched so many tiny house videos and this one actually makes me feel claustrophobic because of the way it’s laid out. For me personally I would rather just have one large bedroom downstairs and use a loft for storage but I don’t have kids but even if I had kids could you imagine trying to crawl up there and change the sheets or clean the room if your kid was sick or whatever oh my god no I don’t even know if I would be comfortable renting this to be honest. Not only that but the kids have to go down the stairs in the middle of the night and come all the way into what’s basically your bedroom to use the bathroom that’s also a no for me. Fantastic video great walk-through!
Overall, I liked this tiny house. Would I change some things? Yes. Especially if I lived in it, but everybody has different likes and dislikes so most of the 'flaws' you noted were just personal to you whereas I'd be ok with them. Some things would definitely need to change... like the closet and such. As I said, overall I liked it. This is definitely a rental only. :)
One thing I don't get is how this video has 175,000 + views, and only 4,000 people liked it. Come on guys, we gotta be a little more considerate and react more to videos. It only takes a second. Lovely Tiny home btw!
The house is manic , I love a tub and not separate shower. Dishwasher is great and plexiglass rail wall would accentuate floating steps. The outside is like a crazy quilt; too busy for my eye. That looky Lou issue would become intrusive but I love looking. Thanks.
Love the concept but alot of missed opportunities. Like washer & dryer. Agree about the storage in the bathroom . Should use that blank wall by the toilet & it would free up space in the bathroom to do a tub/shower combo..
The TV position in the bedroom....LOLOLOLOLOLOL What were they thinking? I think your assessments were spot on. For me, this would not be very practical.
Great points made thruout based on lived experience-thank you! What strikes me is lack of tinting on windows, which is true of pretty much every tiny house we’ve seen. A good 3M tint (e.g. 35%) applied thruout would greatly soften the harsh constrast of shafts of sunlight in a small, tall, sometimes cave-like space. The choice can be climate-related, but in the high intermountain desert where we live, adding this sunglasses-like effect in our own home, including on skylights, provides such relief and allows us to enjoy our scenic surroundings more without constantly adjusting window treatments. Glad to see Winnie looking so spry! Missed her in an episode or two!
An economical and fun alternative to 3M is do-it-yourself film from Amazon. So many patterns to choose from! There was one we used for a garage guest room that never failed to draw compliments-it was scattered aspen leaf skeletons in pale green. It filtered the light and provided privacy much like the porch privacy screens you highlighted in this tour, while still allowing one to see out.
I was very overwhelmed by the amount of colors, shapes, textures on the outside. It kind of set the tone for trying to do everything but nothing really well.
This video is a great idea! I love the idea of a tiny home but I also know that the best ones are tailor made to the residents. I wouldn't know where to start in the planning process. Short term rentals are genius! Talking to other tiny homeowners is another great to begin the process. I love your show. Keep it up.
Great Video guys! REally like how you contrasted what makes this Tiny great for a rental but not so much for everyday living. I really liked the suggestions and pointing out the little things only tiny houses would see (like hooks!). Love how you both brought attention to the pros and cons of the stove, railing, bathroom (so huge!!) storage, etc. 👏👏 Great video! Thanks!!
landing at top of stairs should go all the way across width of living room and open the whole "arched" area at the top (no wall no door). Narrower stairs might be plus and you mentioned railing on wall side. If the toilet was moved toward vanity a couple feet ,a full cabinet floor to ceiling could have served both rooms, bedroom and bath depending on door placement. LOVED overall design though. Use of materials etc, very high end looking !!
The outside is gorgeous and i really liked the bathroom. I do agree for more cabinets in the bathroom or a stackable washer/dryer. I think the living room should have been where the kitchen was. I loved the fireplace. I agree with the stair rails. I am a morning person so I loved the skylight.
Thanks for this video. It really helps to see what NOT to do. Lol. I don't think there was anything in this house that I would do. Totally bad layout all around.
Thanks guys design is so important! There’s way too much going on. I prefer a “wrap around” layout like Jody wissings house. I would blend the downstairs bedroom into the living room and add a dropped landing on top to access the loft standing 👍
This was really helpful. Excellent points made and yes less space in the bathroom and more space in the kitchen would be so much better. Even for a rental. And those floating stairs.. I would be afraid to walk on them they looked a little shaky. Beautiful tiny though! I’d stay there short term.
How do stairs "look" shaky.. ?..lol. get rid of railing and put glass panels on outside edge of stairs up towards ceiling.. mount a handrail to the wall. That way the stairs woukd take up a lot less visual space.
I would decrease the bathroom size by combining the tub and shower, thereby making the kitchen longer. I would also make the stairs shorter and the doorway cubby larger in height and length. It's a cool design from the outside but feels cramped inside.
Where's the washer and dryer? Forget 3 bedrooms, make one the living room and expand the kitchen with a stove and multi-use table. The bathroom and adult bedroom need more built-ins.
I really like the bedroom in the tung and you can feel like it is really big too. And I also agree with what you guys said about that bathroom and I think that is too much GLASS, just think that if you had children that are a little too busy, you all know what I mean lol. And the rail is on the wrong side , and loft is really really too small for a older person like me , but my grandchildren would love it too. But all in all I really think it is really nice to get away from that crazy life lol . Much love Elena ❤️🐢💋
The couch looks uncomfortable as many tiny couches do. A footrest wood be helpful. But it’s very attractive. In the main bedroom it looks like the bed was originally against the back wall. I wouldn’t want a tub either. Could the bedroom floor extend out a foot into the bath area? Agree about stair rail too.

I loved this style of video- you guys dissecting the rental from a full time living perspective! This is so helpful for someone really considering going tiny!
Happy to hear it; that's what we hoped for! :)
My very first impression inside: that railing is so physically & visually intrusive! I get that they needed something secure for a rental, but even painting it white would help. The bathroom & main bedroom are cool. As a retired attorney, I worry about that tiny crawl-thru space. Thank you David, and great points on egress!
My first thought too, paint that stair rail white!
I like that you guys also show bad examples of a tiny house.
I actually agree w. Yall 100%!! Bathroom needs more storage, that 2nd bedroom upstairs, that door?? Id never fit threw that...lol... large butt...lol
The murphy bed in the down stairs room seems like a bloody brilliant idea for a child's room or as an office/guest room!
Absolutely!
Thank you for the kind feedback! Really enjoyed the bathtubs but would rather have a big kitchen 😉
Considering the size of this house, and what must have been a considerable cost to build it, I'm blown away by the critical design flaws!

I agree with most of your assessments. I'd would prefer more kitchen counter space vs. bathtub. I'd also would like a stovetop and oven, collapsible dining table or counter with stools.

Finally a honest tiny house video :-):-):-)
I agree on all points.

Great video guys! Keep them coming, and we hope to see you at Skoolie Palooza 2021 in January!
Thanks for watching guys, and we’d love to come to Skooliepalooza! Good point on lack of flexibility in some key areas to reconfigure 👌

Wow! This is the most realist, down to earth, most comfortable, cool, honest tiny home COUPLE that I’ve ever seen!!! They tell it like it is; they’re fun, truly honest, realistic and down to earth!
Great ideas!
I agree with the tub/shower, it’s still essentially a 2 bedroom w/loft in terms of usability. Love the ladder idea. Those stairs look good but aren’t very practical for the space.
I really like that rental tiny house
And the 3 bedroom is wonderful. I love the bathroom too. I don't cook
much so I would be fine with it.
The secluded patio was the best feature of this tiny home.
Thank you Michele!
I love how you honestly list the pluses and minuses.
Thank you!
I noticed that too. I wonder if the bed was just long to fit the other way?
Yeah that was a rather unfortunate mistake lol
"Measure twice, cut once." In fact, when it comes to tiny homes, "measure THRICE, cut once." is probably more apt.
Taking them apart for maintenance is even more painful due to the small cramped space, there's nowhere else to go! lol
Even better if you plan ahead for potential moving of things just for changing things up, you can still allow for some freedoms in layout if you design properly.
I guess that's why the skylight is an an awkward place
Steps up the bathroom into the bedroom is brilliant (though the sleeping space is cramped). Bravo!
I LOVE the idea of a sky light in the bedroom!!!
I love having the 3 bedrooms. I don't get the criticism. It is a tiny home. I love the tub!
💜
Like the fold down counter idea! I’m definitely someone who also cooks multiple dishes so I like lots of counter space 😄
Thanks for sharing your feedback! Great point on wardrobe 👍
Thank you for watching! Appreciate your feedback and really like to hobbit door thought 😊 a kid’s dream fort!
I love you pointing out things that others may not look at/for.
The privacy screen is the best part!
Yep!!! Bathtub over counter space for me!!! The thing it is lacking for me would be a washer and dryer either combo or stacked.
I loved the different shapes of the roof.
I love how they laugh together in unison. so cute
☺️😄
For a rental I think its perfect! Beautiful home! 😍
You made lots of great comments and I agree with everything you said about the rental. I would not like a tiny home like this for full time living and probably not on my vacation agenda either.
In this day and age, tiny homes should be the norm.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. Really great for a rental but not so practical for full time living. Love the gooseneck bedroom (except the tv placement)….would definitely lose the tub and gain more kitchen space. Great video as usual, guys!!
Thank you Sarah!! :)
Such a great video!! Thank you 😊 I really like how cheerful, frank and polite you guys are
Good point on potential for shower/tub combo, then kitchen could easily be bigger or they could do a big closet👍😊
waking up with the sun is the best.
This place is for renting, not full time living. I agree with your assessments.
Excellent points!
I loved it. Especially the bathroom and master bedroom. I can live there.
Love the stairs leading into the bathroom. Very unique.
***..Thanks a lot guys .. ( cuz sharing priorities while living in a tiny house is a must ) ***
Love the neighboring homes rock climbing wall as their siding 🧗🏽♂️
Ooooo I LOVE the skylight in the bedroom 😍 I'm that person who would love it
Hello Crystal how are you doing!+
It’s a very cute TINY HOME but I would love a little bigger if I was buying one . This is cute but really loved the bathroom I like a bigger Kitchen a bigger bedroom and bigger living room also but it is very nice I just like a lot bigger TINY HOME THANKS FOR THE TOUR ENJOY 😉
I agree with your assessment of this home 100%, I like it but for full-time living it needs a lot of adjustments.
I love Goose neck designs and I think that is the first one I have seen were the bedroom is over 5' 10" high. Fantastic! Makes me want one even more since I have always been leary due to the lack of bedroom height. I am 6". Thank you for the video.
Love what you can do with a gooseneck!
Great video concept and well executed! I agree with all of your suggestions on making this rental into a more functional home.
Thanks Dawn!
I’m not a morning person at all....night owl 😄👍🏻😳 Love the bathroom 🚽 and all the bedrooms 🌸
Good points, and thank you! :)
Well said 😊✨
One thing I don't get is how this video has 175,000 + views, and only 4,000 people liked it. Come on guys, we gotta be a little more considerate and react more to videos. It only takes a second. Lovely Tiny home btw!
Totally agree with you about everything you said Alexis and Christian! Good pointers! Hate the house!
We appreciate the kind feedback! Winnie brings us so much joy. ☺️ Great tip on tinting!
I was very overwhelmed by the amount of colors, shapes, textures on the outside. It kind of set the tone for trying to do everything but nothing really well.
Fabulous points. So glad I am not the only one who thinks skylights in bedrooms are silly!
I thought it was a nice extra headroom hack in a loft...
We like our sleep too much for a skylight 😜
This video is a great idea! I love the idea of a tiny home but I also know that the best ones are tailor made to the residents. I wouldn't know where to start in the planning process. Short term rentals are genius! Talking to other tiny homeowners is another great to begin the process. I love your show. Keep it up.
Thank you Casie! ☺️
I love your dog making herself at home! So cute!
As long as she’s with us, she’s happy 💗
@@TinyHouseExpedition our dog was like that too. :)
Thanks!!
Thank you Jake!! We had a blast putting this together and sharing our 2-cents in a positive, productive, and hopefully entertaining way ☺️😜
landing at top of stairs should go all the way across width of living room and open the whole "arched" area at the top (no wall no door).
Like the rail exactly where it is..like this home.
I agree with all of you 100%..
The little door one id give to the dog for a kennel.. lol
Totally agree with all your concerns about this rental:)
Thanks guys design is so important! There’s way too much going on. I prefer a “wrap around” layout like Jody wissings house. I would blend the downstairs bedroom into the living room and add a dropped landing on top to access the loft standing 👍
So when the lady is mad, the guy has a dog house room above, right? hahahaha. Cute house. I like it.
Haha I like how you think!
I agree with all your comments. But the outside look is fabulous!
I would decrease the bathroom size by combining the tub and shower, thereby making the kitchen longer. I would also make the stairs shorter and the doorway cubby larger in height and length. It's a cool design from the outside but feels cramped inside.
Great feedback!
These two are so cute!
Best video I have ever come across in relation to tiny house living. Great information, informative, good advice! Simon (United Kingdom, Wales).
Thank you! ☺️✨🍻
