- Hey guys we're back with another snow foam test and review and this time it's Gyeon Q2M Foam.
for some reason I've never used this product before so was keen to test it out.
if you would like to support the channel and help me buy more products to test then feel free to head over and buy me a beer at my buy me a coffee page

I used it yesterday to help with a pre-polish wash at 1:5 in the MJJC cannon and it didn't foam up any more than what yours did in the video. Glad to see 1:9 works as good as it does coz you're definitely not wrong about the price! Nice demonstration as usual :)
Yeah I think the foam I had at 1-9 was about as thick as can be haha. Will try it at 1-15 and see what happens next
Good review mate I've see this at repco and always said I'd grab some next time I run out of foam
They definitely have a big range at repco these days
This is currently my favorite foam out of maybe 12-15 I’ve tried. It’s also readily available at Repco. I use the same foam cannon as you but use 60ml/600ml ratio and turn the foam ‘thickness’ knob down about half a turn. This gives me enough coverage for a whole car but also works best for it I think as it makes it just a little bit more wet which gives it a nice long dwell time instead of it just drying out in a couple mins. You could do 50ml/500ml easily for a sedan/hatchback which gives you 20 applications per bottle.
If the bulk price was a bit cheaper I'd likely consider using it more but for $99 at 4 litres I could get a few alternatives I prefer for cheaper
I'll definitely keep using this bottle up and maybe see if I change my mind
@@EvolvedDetails yeah price is a concern. I only do two cars so I’m
happy to pay a bit more for a product I like. Not to mention you get it at 30% off regularly at Repco. I won’t pay Koch Chemie snow prices though.
@@rover1374Koch chemie is a rip off. German tax I suppose
@@brokenSnake it is nice but very over priced.
@@rover1374 yeah but rather just get carpro which is cheaper and just as good or better
I thought I heard a rooster in the background but it's your pressure washer. Ever since I got a trigger gun for my pressure washer it makes a very similar noise! NIce review I use Gyeon foam to. But yours is way thicker. I need to check out my dilution
Hahaha it definitely has a unique sound
Thank you. 👍😁
Thanks Ian 🍻
What brand ceramic coating did you use on this car? Looks to have imsane water beading. 👍
Thanks mate, it has carpro cquartz UK 3.0
Nice review. From what I’ve read, it’s pH 12 undiluted.
Thanks mate and yep good to know
I read that to. I assumed that would mean it considered an alkaline food am like the NV snow plus?
I've seen this at repco and wondered if it was any good
Definitely up there with some of my favourites for sure
Do you have a ceramic coated car? Because it doesnt shiny😢
Yes car is coated and is super shiny
this or carpro lift
I prefer Carpro lift a bit more
@@EvolvedDetails why u say lift better ?
@@galandetail I don't say it's better I just prefer it.
Cheaper to buy in bulk for me and I think it cleans a little better at a lower dilution ratio making the cost more effective
@@EvolvedDetails ik im justlooking for the one that cleane sbetter what cleans better
That is different comparison. One is ultra car wash soap cleaner vs this is as sealant/protection wash. For example, i have 3 carpro products.the lift, reset and h2foam. Lift is used every 3 months/every start or end of season followed by hydro2foam. May weekly soap is Reset. Gyeon q2m foam is cheaper here, carpro hydro2foam is like 2x the price.
Might be time for a new pressure washer. Sounds a bit tired.
Haha nah it's just a loud bugger, I actually only got it recently as my previous ryobi died on me after 6 years.
I do want to get a quiet wall mounted pressure washer eventually though
@@EvolvedDetails oh haha fair enough! Thanks for the review mate! Decent bit of gear.
@@EvolvedDetailsdoesn't Ryobi provide an 8 year warranty?
2 much, too long, leave 3 minutes max.
Why do you say that?
@@EvolvedDetailswait ..
so I don’t need to go over with a wash mitt?
Just rinse it off?
New to this
This is the pre wash stage so you would use this to help break down the dirt and contaminants before the contact wash stage.
Doing this is an extra step but for a swirl free paint job it's something you can do to minimise the chances of creating swirls during the wash process
@@EvolvedDetails oh I see ..
What do u use for the wash stage?
