There was such long break from Chris drifting that I forgot how pleasant to watch his powerslides are.
This CT4 blackwing will go down in history as one of the best most desirable icon cars from the 20's I have no doubt.

@@hoonaticbloggs5402 I have heard this before, some people prefer the 6 cylinders for that reason, personally haven't experienced it but everyone considers the M5 such a high watermark, I'm curious what Chris thinks of the CT5V that I've heard people praise that it reminded them of the E39 as a package.
I love the E39 M5 design and the idea of it and the current pricepoint it's at for how iconic it is but the E90 M3 sedan is more than twice the price in Europe and that has proper hydraulic steering, which makes me curious if E39s are cheap for a reason and that being the steering box. Any insight would be helpful and enlightening, thanks!

Chris Harris content doesnt suffer the same thing that many other content on cars suffers from, which is the repeatable format and what not because I could literally watch Chris do the same shit all the time and it will never get boring or lose its magical appeal. This guy is the best of the best.

@@its_EZ GM really needed to make the switch to a mid engine Corvette. With the C7, they really kinda reached the limit of what a front engine, RWD car was capable of, the only way they could take that next step in performance was to go mid engine. It's worked out, that flat plane Z06 wouldn't have been possible in a front engine Corvette, neither would that hybrid E-Ray, or the crazy 900HP twin turbo ZR1 that's coming in 2025.

Great work Caddilac! A manual sports saloon is whats missing in the marketplace! Its a crying shame the europeans have ditched this option especially coming from a continent that had until very recently chosen manual over auto in the majority of cases.
If you want to bring real excitement back into driving, offer a manual!

Welcome to GM performance, Corvette, Camaro, CT5 V Blackwing, CT4 V Blackwing all are best performance vehicles in their class. Those that haven’t driven them love to hate but GM makes the best performance cars period, especially for the money.

in the EU we are doomed. so much of the automotive industry, especially the parts ment for enthusiasts are not even avaliable any more in the european market, that it makes me really sad, frustrated, mad and totally desperate. the only good part left in my opinion are the policies regarding older cars, like 80's and 90's cars, that are quite plentiful and to me offer the most smiles per mile, but the prices, compared to buying and keeping these sort of cars on the road, compared to something like the USA is bonkers. the UK has it quite easy, used cars market there is relatively affordabe, especially before this past year, when the prices have skyrocketed, in comparison to USA or the UK, for midrange sportcar from the end of 90's or around 2000 in mainland EU sellers were themanding two to three times the prices compared to our overseas neighbours. and taking the per capita income of most of younger EU members, that is absolutely painful, i'm astonished, that car manufacturers aren't capitalising on such high demands and margines in the markter, but emission policies etc play a big role, which is a matter that really pisses me off in the grand picture, with newer cars and all, but that is a topic for another time. great to see somewhere around the world toys for me are still being produced and cherrished. maybe it's time to consider packing my bags and movig in the pursuit of what makes one happy
I have a 2023 Caddy CT4-V BLACKWING. It has an electronic LIMITED SLIP DIFF, as does the car you're driving. Use that kbob on the steering wheel, adjust the amount of traction that the ELSD is putting down, and you won't have that feedback that you were talking about. Plus, hit the traction control button twice to get into Competitive Driving Mode. That turns off TC and SC...but be careful cuz it's all yours now on the track--no nannies to save you!

Only gripe I have with these Cadillac's is the trunk space. Pretty small. My E350 trunk about just big enough. I'd like just a bit more space without having to buy a S-Class or CT6. My parents buy Cadillac, I generally stick with the German's.

I don’t know if anybody told Chris the traction management has several levels. I’ve never heard anyone else call GMs PTM system crude but it can be a pain to find
Drive a 2020 Shelby GT500 which has 5.2L V8 supercharged engine with 760hp plus a 7 speed dual clutch transmission from tremec. The carbon fiber track package GT500 has cup 2 tires, lighter, big wing with 550lbs of downforce, and aero parts. The Shelby GT500 pulls 10.5s and 10.6s in the quarter mile with trap speeds of 133-134mph. It's a 10 second car! I wanna see him drive a GT500!

I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat if this or the v8 version came to the UK. I don't want a VXR8 due to the interiors and after owning 2 C63's I really want to get back above a manual transmission.
The CT5 V Blackwing is the one with the supercharged V8, the CT5 is Cadillac's bigger sedan, around the same size as an E-Class or a 5 Series. This is the CT4 V Blackwing, the smaller sedan, it has a twin turbo V6.

People forget that Cadillac had a racing division in the past and they used that knowledge to market truly awesome street cars in the CT and AT series, CTS-v, ATS-v, and the siter car to this one, the 685 HP (620 HP at the wheels) CT5-V Blackwing.
