Diamonds are a passion. DeBeers does have the monopoly cornered. But with non conflict diamonds you are truly changing the landscape of how people are treated. I'd much rather have a lab grown diamond than know someone may have given their life just so I can have beautiful jewelry.
If the laborers one the blood diamond sites rebelled and won some of that land. A hero story to me could change my original offer by 30%. The fact that the African made that story premise so sad is what killed the diamond market. Nobody can sell diamonds at the rate it used to be because the blood diamond story was so sad had it been a conflict with the laborer win I give the diamond market as a while an uprise of 40%
There is no intrinsic value to diamonds. The DeBeers cartel, which almost holds a monopoly on the diamond trade, stockpiles so many diamonds that if they were all released to the market at the same time, diamonds would have to sell for 5 bucks a carat. Or less. It is only these hidden stockpiles that are kept off the market that is why diamonds are perceived to be scarce and thus valuable.
Well it's used in industry and is the hardest substance and rare to aquire thus it has to be expensive , but the jewelry industry took it to another level , thus the boats where your your point comes in , Anyway not that I know what am talking about but a nice weekend happy new year
Diamond itself isn’t rare, but diamonds in good color and clarity is. 9 out of 10 times, the diamonds found are good enough for industrial use, but not jewelry. That’s what people mean when they say that diamond is rare: they’re talking about jewelry - grade. Furthermore, you’re going on outdated intel, as DeBeers is no longer the biggest player in the diamond market.
I have made several beautiful pieces with lab diamonds and love them! I will never buy another natural diamond; it is a waste of my money and environment.
Very nice video!! At Parallel vault, we're proud to offer lab created diamond jewelry that combines ethical sourcing with stunning designs. It's great to see people appreciating the value of lab-grown diamonds in India!
I appreciate this deep dive into lab-grown diamonds! It's fantastic to see more people recognizing their value. At Solitario Diamond, we offer a wide range of beautiful lab-grown diamond pieces for everyone! 💎✨

Yep exactly the same. They even have to mark grown ones to tell them apart and artificially prop up the dimond mining industry. Manufactured diamonds are actually used to cut mined diamonds.
@@BlatentlyFakeName I just bought a lab diamond for my center stone. I was going to have the whole ring lab diamonds, but with the falling prices, my jeweler said I might as well put my money towards natural diamonds for the pave stones. And it looks stunning. You can’t tell them apart.
interesting, but omitted how long it takes each method to 'grow' diamonds well enough to use for jewelry. How long does it take in those pressure units?
Most people don’t look to buy and sell their diamonds. DeBeers has ruined the diamond market for major profits. Diamonds aren’t as rare as we are led to believe. Stock piles DeBeers has,but wants to hold on to them for years to bilk millions of dollars.
Long we have seen jewellers just sticking stones to ring and call it a day. There is hardly any effort to make the whole arrangement artistic. They blame it on the high cost of stones and the scarsity of color. Now that they can control both. what excuse do they have now?

The diamond game is a low market that constantly tries to be higher end. Sounds familiar, The demand for diamonds are decades apart 1968 1979 2018 It's hay day being the sixties and seventies then back to the dirt beaten by gold. As demand goes, Copper should be more than diamond no matter the effort so when I hear lab diamonds I think cool I need to make some as well as for me to see if it works as a project but I still rather buy gold or copper at the market value they are in preying one day Copper goes up.
"Imperfections add to it's charm" - that's rich. We've been told for DECADES that imperfections are lesser diamonds.

Very informative.
The lab grown diamonds are just as beautiful and I can’t see the difference.
There is no difference. They are both diamonds
I guess the only ones who could complain about lab grown diamonds are people who own diamond mines 😅
I’m waiting for Lab grown precious metals to set the conflict free Lab diamonds into 😂
How big and how long to make?

Yep it's an artificial market really.
Not as rare as rubies and emeralds.

6-10 weeks.
I'll go for lab grown ❤
RIP deBeers
Do lab diamonds still have metaphysical properties??
Lol
how does hpv help
I value sapphires more than diamonds. Nice video though ❤
People who buy and the people who look at them don’t know the difference.
There is no difference.
Would be funny to make a machine that can grow perfect diamonds, and crash the diamond trade over night
Be it natural or grown, it still cost more than they are worth, to me
Diamond are industrially grown so not just in a lab.
Great

Just add "Miner involved - Yes/No" to the Certificate and let see what would happen. Or "Miner - Involved / not involved"
Adventures of Superman: " 1000000 lbs of pressure for a 1000000 years" as he forms a diamond by crushing a lump of coal in his hand.
I remember that and thought, shouldn't the diamond be so much smaller than the lump of coal he started? .. :D
People dont know that the same people most likely control the lab diamonds also.
LoL - I wonder if they stopped and thought about it, if it would, even remotely, dawn on them just how nonsensical their statement was? Hm🤔👌
What is the point of a diamond if it doesn't come with a side of genocide?
They are excellent powdered in sandpaper
Otherwise useless
There GOES the Diamond Market,...diamonds will be as abundant as gum drops. You buy a diamond you need your head examined

The world just made u think it was
The value has ALWAYS and STILL IS
GOLD !
If you can tell the difference between lab and natural that means there is a difference and they are NOT the same
The difference is the i fo laser etched into the diamond itself.

So, buy a large lab diamond and if you want to sell it then get 10% what you paid for it.
Buying jewelry as an investment is laughable.
No resale value.
Try to sell your natural diamond and you will feel the same way.
Buy gold
No, still fakes not natural value, 50c per kilo
lab grown diamonds are like lab grown meat, a lack of taste.
