Met up with @thesinkerguy to do some Surf Fishing at Pensacola Beach and we found some fish! Always good times fishing the beach for Pompano with Chip!
Rod: Ninja Dagger 9' and 12'

I'm here now. Got in late last night. Looks a little ugly for weather except for Sunday. I did catch some keeper trout off the dock in the sound at dark. Wind bout blew me off tho lol
Yea sadly weather is crap. Waiting for a break in the rain and I'll run out to the beach. Glad to hear you got some Trout. Hope you wear the Pompano out at the beach and have a great trip!

You are definitely getting it heated 🔥up🎣🐟🐟🐟 out there, I was down in PCB Last Week , And just 1 Hardhead 😺 Fish , water was to turn 🛞 up, going to see what's happening in Navarre this weekend, got some ghost 👻 Shrimp 🦐 from the sound earlier, ? Was u & Chip Fishing the Navarre Area or Pensacola, Those are some nice Pomps, am still trying to get my first one of the year,, Stay Safe God Bless 👍,,
We were closer to Pensacola. Ghost shrimp are a money bait right now from what I've seen. Hope you get that first Pompano!
Great video! Glad to see that pompano are starting to show up. What is the secret to getting your Sputnik weights to disengage so that it is easier to reel in? I have had a difficult time getting the wires on mine to release when reeling them in.
Thanks! You can adjust how easy the legs release by bending them in or out. Release the legs and bend them out then close them and you will feel the difference in tension. I prefer mine to break pretty easy. Hope this helps and tight lines!

This may be a stupid question but, could this type of fishing be done in Colorado? We have some pretty big reservoirs out here and i would like to get a long ways out towards the middle. Open to suggestions. Thanks!!!!!
