People can cherry pick whatever studies they want but anybody can go to an area near a harm reduction facility see with their own eyes how much harm enabling addicts actually causes. It's completely insane and based on the wild assumption that an addict is going to do the same amount of drugs whether or not they're provided a place to do the drugs and all the equipment. Would a person do the same amount of drugs if they were given the money to buy the drugs as well? Of course. Come to British Columbia, Canada...where hard drugs have been de-criminalized and you are allowed to carry up to 2.5g. If you get arrested with say, 10g, upon your release, the Police have to give you your 2g back. This person, who has now maybe detoxed a bit for 8 or more hours, is at greater risk of immediately going and getting a fix and overdosing. I can't drink a beer while sitting on the sidewalk in the sunshine, but it would be ok for me to shoot up. Its ridiculous. "Adults found in personal possession of any combination of these illegal drugs that adds up to a combined total of 2.5 grams or less are not subject to arrest or criminal charges and the drugs are not seized. As a current drug user, safe injection sites are ballooning the problem. Here in Canada we offer a “safe supply” so they don’t have to risk ODs on fentanyl. However the junkies (again I am a drug addict) will simply sell their dilaudid prescriptions and get the drugs they want. So it’s putting more drugs on the street, not helping with the drug epidemic simply allowing it to flourish. In Vancouver we started with safe injection sites and now it’s still, years and years later, still one of the worst addiction crises in Canada. Giving drugs and places to use to addicts will never fix the problem. In BC they now have specific sites for junkies to use their illegal drugs in hospitals. It’s that bad. The addict in me is all for the safe supply and the safe injection sites. The human being says it’s terrible for our society and only adds gas to an already uncontrollable fire

I can totally relate with Charlie on this! A few years ago, our own granddaughter (going thru puberty) was badgered to no end by other students and some teachers that she tended towards being lesbian, and she should declare herself as that!! What a thing to tell an 11 year old girl!! She also had to put up with all of the binary & non-binary talk. Number one. When someone (especially girls) go thru puberty, it is an extremely awkward time. They are already going thru enough, and don't need the ridiculous BS of binary/non-binary, lesbian & otherwise rammed down their throat. Anyway, it was explained to her (by us) that she is a normal girl, going thru normal changes, and to ignore anything being told to her in school. Today, she is a normal girl, with no issues. She overcame the horrible onslaught of BS that was thrown at her. The point is, the agenda that is being pushed on our children is absolutely unacceptable and people need to stay out of other peoples lives. The job to raise children is for parents, not for other students and teachers.

Other than chromosomes there are other ways to differentiate between male and female. An X-ray could be done of the pelvis. The pelvic cavity, pubis arch and gips are all wider on women than men
The question is are they able to impregnate a female or are they able to be impregnated by a male. that determines their gender, even if they have some extra anatomy of the other sex. No intersex person has both capabilities. They can either have the possibility of getting pregnant or getting a female pregnant. Even if they are infertile, in either gender, it is which they should be able to do that decides their sex.

As a Canadian watching this in May 2024, the BC (Vancouver) goverment has just begged our Federal goverment to overturn the safe injections sites and open drugs laws that decriminalized use of various hard drugs in public places such as parks, trains, and hospitals, because open drug use in public spaces has ran rampant so much that nurses in BC hospitals were warned against breast feeding their own babies at home because their breast milk might be tainted from all of the hard drug fumes they are inhaling while at work. This program has failed so hard in BC/Vancouver that when that one foolish kid started to quoting a Vancouver study it made me laugh so damn hard!!!
Turner's Syndrome is female only. Klinefelter's Syndrome is male only. Both are defined by extra chromosomes. My son has Klinefelter's Syndrome but is very much a boy. Most of the time neither syndrome is found until adults fail to produce children and get a genetic test. The hormone production in either syndrome is usually sufficient to produce a sexually mature adult. The percentage of adults with this syndrome and those without becoming homosexual is the same.

Just to throw an assist here, I forget her name, but she's a prominent doctor who explained that the single best indicator of a person's sex is their gametes: if you produce ova, you're a female, if you produce sperm, you're a male, indepedent of the genitalia that you have (in the case of intersex people)
We have kits with syringes a mixing thing and some cotton buds and a disposal box. It’s really good, less syringes lying around less blood born diseases being spread. Addicts will share or use dirty needles if they don’t have a choice. They don’t stop using just because they don’t have access to clean syringes. The kit helps here, dunno bout the states.

You are incorrect! If you were a cigarette smoker for many years; the sudden stop can cause stroke and seizures. The sudden stop with any hard drugs can cause strokes etc. Ask a caffeine addict what type of headache they have or get without it. It's affecting the synapses in your brain.
@Debra-en4kr According to "medicine" benzos and alcohol are the only drugs that have a type of effect on the nervous system where death can occur during withdrawal. There is always "withdrawal" whether you take 1 beer or 1 valium tablet. It's how severe the withdrawal which typically correlates to how much of the drug you took. It also depends on the stage at which you're taking said drug. For example a severe alcoholic can go into withdrawal pretty bad off of a 6 pack of beer. When a college student wakes up with a hangover that hangover is withdrawal. Death doesn't usually occur but the point is that it does happen. Heroin and fentanyl withdrawal makes you feel like you're going to die but it wont' actually kill you.

Turner syndrome does not mean you have male anatomy and female chromosomes. It's a mutation resulting in a single X chromosome and results in various physical factors, none of which includes male anatomical features.
Turner Syndrome's 45 X (and its mosaic variations 47 XXX, etc.) prevalence is about 1:2,000~1:3,000 in the American female population (NIH 2018 Nov; 7(4): 223-228. ). They are usually infertile and have a female habitus for the most part - I have treated such female (who identified as females). As far as the intersex condition is concerned, I think in most cases there is still a dominant gender, despite the anomaly. The thing that would make SENSE is to encourage whatever presents as the dominant gender, particuarly in reference to hormone production, because the body will have more tools to facilitate growth and stability. The presence of visually male or female genitalia isn't nearly as important as ovaries and testes, that are producing all the necessary hormones to facilitate life! It's a lot easier to rearrange the "scenery", so to speak, than completely change the foundation.
I agree but there is one issue. If a woman is xy and appears normal inside organs and healthy external organs and has periods and has had children, and having had pretty or feminine features as a young girl, average heigh. However, during puberty starts to grow lot's of muscle and facial hair and Adams apple, because testosterone levels are higher than normal woman perhaps closer to a male, in that case you would not let hormones dictate and you would not increase estrogen - these women are healthy - facial hair can be removed, adam's apple is not moticed with feminine features and muscles are covered under clothing. Best test is what do the chromosomes or gamedes/gonads on the INSIDE are like at birth. The inside of a person will never hae both male and female - only male=prostate, vas deferens tubes to transport the semen with scrotum and penis regardless of how tiny. Alternatively, the woman will have uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, vagina. The sizes on the outside and/or anomalies do not matter as they can still reproduce. As adults you are correct, they can re-arrange the scenery which is a great terminology - I agree, if they wish but it is not medical reason. i.e. a majority of woman after menopause with the natural decrease of estrogen grow much facial hair where in their youth they did not have even 1 peach fuzz hair, so they remove it in painful electrolysis methods or waxing stripping it off , painful. Why ? Not necessary - if men can wear suits and women can wear suits why cannot women have facial hair upper lip or chin, face, hair, legs ???? Still Breast implants have increased because of flat-chested women who feel they have to measure up to an erroneous standard. All to appear more feminine and more beautiful. So the intersex no different, their anomalies are just more pronounced and they have to struggle a bit more and have more challenges than the average person.

Listen man I'm super conservative but I was an addict and I did use needles. I had a lot of issues with abuse growing up and much worse than that. Basically I don't agree with having places to inject either, but giving out clean needles and stuff like that actually does save people's lives bro. The only reason why it's a good idea to give kids out is because there are hardly any good addiction recovery places that actually help people to get better mentally. Since we don't have that and since the government refuses to put money toward that, the only other option is to provide safe equipment. But to have a place where people can just inject drugs whenever they want it's absolute Madness I think Madness I think. Come to British Columbia, Canada...where hard drugs have been de-criminalized and you are allowed to carry up to 2.5g. If you get arrested with say, 10g, upon your release, the Police have to give you your 2g back. This person, who has now maybe detoxed a bit for 8 or more hours, is at greater risk of immediately going and getting a fix and overdosing. I can't drink a beer while sitting on the sidewalk in the sunshine, but it would be ok for me to shoot up. Its ridiculous. "Adults found in personal possession of any combination of these illegal drugs that adds up to a combined total of 2.5 grams or less are not subject to arrest or criminal charges and the drugs are not seized. As a current drug user, safe injection sites are ballooning the problem. Here in Canada we offer a “safe supply” so they don’t have to risk ODs on fentanyl. However the junkies (again I am a drug addict) will simply sell their dilaudid prescriptions and get the drugs they want. So it’s putting more drugs on the street, not helping with the drug epidemic simply allowing it to flourish. In Vancouver we started with safe injection sites and now it’s still, years and years later, still one of the worst addiction crises in Canada. Giving drugs and places to use to addicts will never fix the problem. In BC they now have specific sites for junkies to use their illegal drugs in hospitals. It’s that bad. The addict in me is all for the safe supply and the safe injection sites. The human being says it’s terrible for our society and only adds gas to an already uncontrollable fire

I can totally relate with Charlie on this! A few years ago, our own granddaughter (going thru puberty) was badgered to no end by other students and some teachers that she tended towards being lesbian, and she should declare herself as that!! What a thing to tell an 11 year old girl!! She also had to put up with all of the binary & non-binary talk. Number one. When someone (especially girls) go thru puberty, it is an extremely awkward time. They are already going thru enough, and don't need the ridiculous BS of binary/non-binary, lesbian & otherwise rammed down their throat. Anyway, it was explained to her (by us) that she is a normal girl, going thru normal changes, and to ignore anything being told to her in school. Today, she is a normal girl, with no issues. She overcame the horrible onslaught of BS that was thrown at her. The point is, the agenda that is being pushed on our children is absolutely unacceptable and people need to stay out of other peoples lives. The job to raise children is for parents, not for other students and teachers.
I like that they bring up intersex to argue that people who are not intersex can pick their gender. Intersex is real, should be dealt with case by case, and people should be understanding of it. That doesn't mean people who aren't just get to choose what they are.
Every single intersex person has one dominant sex, and they live as that sex. There is no intersex person who plays gender games. There has NEVER been an intersex person who has both full sets of genitalia. Usually they are women with tiny testicles inside their abdomen, which are usually removed.

As a Canadian watching this in May 2024, the BC (Vancouver) goverment has just begged our Federal goverment to overturn the safe injections sites and open drugs laws that decriminalized use of various hard drugs in public places such as parks, trains, and hospitals, because open drug use in public spaces has ran rampant so much that nurses in BC hospitals were warned against breast feeding their own babies at home because their breast milk might be tainted from all of the hard drug fumes they are inhaling while at work. Turner's Syndrome is female only. Klinefelter's Syndrome is male only. Both are defined by extra chromosomes. My son has Klinefelter's Syndrome but is very much a boy. Just to throw an assist here, I forget her name, but she's a prominent doctor who explained that the single best indicator of a person's sex is their gametes: if you produce ova, you're a female, if you produce sperm, you're a male, indepedent of the genitalia that you have (in the case of intersex people)

You are incorrect! If you were a cigarette smoker for many years; the sudden stop can cause stroke and seizures. The sudden stop with any hard drugs can cause strokes etc. Ask a caffeine addict what type of headache they have or get without it. It's affecting the synapses in your brain.
@Debra-en4kr According to "medicine" benzos and alcohol are the only drugs that have a type of effect on the nervous system where death can occur during withdrawal. There is always "withdrawal" whether you take 1 beer or 1 valium tablet. It's how severe the withdrawal which typically correlates to how much of the drug you took. It also depends on the stage at which you're taking said drug. For example a severe alcoholic can go into withdrawal pretty bad off of a 6 pack of beer. When a college student wakes up with a hangover that hangover is withdrawal. Death doesn't usually occur but the point is that it does happen. Heroin and fentanyl withdrawal makes you feel like you're going to die but it wont' actually kill you.

In reality, people in which chromosomal sex is inconsistent with phenotypic sex, or in which the phenotype is not classifiable as either male or female", i.e. actual intersex conditions, is about 0.018% However activist groups keep trying to expand the term to fit their narrative and make it 'more common' by adding non intersex groups under the term.

But the question is what is his or her sex? What will that person put on a driver's license to assimilate into society? The answer goes back to the chromosome and the internal gametes/gonads that justify the defined sex to write on that defined sex on the person's records vs how they display on the outside with larger or smaller sexual organs.
I would say if someone's intersex THEY get to decide if they're male or female. Whichever they pick they have to be consistent, but yeah, they get to do that. If you're already one or the other it's been decided for you. That's how it goes.

Turner syndrome does not mean you have male anatomy and female chromosomes. It's a mutation resulting in a single X chromosome and results in various physical factors, none of which includes male anatomical features.
Turner Syndrome's 45 X (and its mosaic variations 47 XXX, etc.) prevalence is about 1:2,000~1:3,000 in the American female population (NIH 2018 Nov; 7(4): 223-228. ). They are usually infertile and have a female habitus for the most part - I have treated such female (who identified as females). As far as the intersex condition is concerned, I think in most cases there is still a dominant gender, despite the anomaly. The thing that would make SENSE is to encourage whatever presents as the dominant gender, particuarly in reference to hormone production, because the body will have more tools to facilitate growth and stability. The presence of visually male or female genitalia isn't nearly as important as ovaries and testes, that are producing all the necessary hormones to facilitate life! It's a lot easier to rearrange the "scenery", so to speak, than completely change the foundation.
I agree but there is one issue. If a woman is xy and appears normal inside organs and healthy external organs and has periods and has had children, and having had pretty or feminine features as a young girl, average heigh. However, during puberty starts to grow lot's of muscle and facial hair and Adams apple, because testosterone levels are higher than normal woman perhaps closer to a male, in that case you would not let hormones dictate and you would not increase estrogen - these women are healthy - facial hair can be removed, adam's apple is not moticed with feminine features and muscles are covered under clothing. Best test is what do the chromosomes or gamedes/gonads on the INSIDE are like at birth. The inside of a person will never hae both male and female - only male=prostate, vas deferens tubes to transport the semen with scrotum and penis regardless of how tiny. Alternatively, the woman will have uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, vagina. The sizes on the outside and/or anomalies do not matter as they can still reproduce. As adults you are correct, they can re-arrange the scenery which is a great terminology - I agree, if they wish but it is not medical reason. i.e. a majority of woman after menopause with the natural decrease of estrogen grow much facial hair where in their youth they did not have even 1 peach fuzz hair, so they remove it in painful electrolysis methods or waxing stripping it off , painful. Why ? Not necessary - if men can wear suits and women can wear suits why cannot women have facial hair upper lip or chin, face, hair, legs ???? Still Breast implants have increased because of flat-chested women who feel they have to measure up to an erroneous standard. All to appear more feminine and more beautiful. So the intersex no different, their anomalies are just more pronounced and they have to struggle a bit more and have more challenges than the average person.
@@conservativeamerican45 Yes, absolutely 😊 Maybe I should have clarified, my comment was intended for the situation of determining gender for YOUNG children born intersex, and the parents who are dealing with the decision of which way to go- not for adults. For the majority of history ( until recently) people have wanted to have an established gender for their child, to raise a son or a daughter, and it would be awkward not to have that🥰 I would imagine that most, if not all, intersex people are medically assisted as soon as humanly possible so they can be raised male or female. I wouldn't think having hormone issues as an adult would be something that would change a person's mind about that, since non intersex xx women can have those same hormonal problems too- which is why I didn't realize someone would need clarification that I was referring to very young children.

Listen man I'm super conservative but I was an addict and I did use needles. I had a lot of issues with abuse growing up and much worse than that. Basically I don't agree with having places to inject either, but giving out clean needles and stuff like that actually does save people's lives bro. The only reason why it's a good idea to give kids out is because there are hardly any good addiction recovery places that actually help people to get better mentally. Since we don't have that and since the government refuses to put money toward that, the only other option is to provide safe equipment. But to have a place where people can just inject drugs whenever they want it's absolute Madness I think Madness I think. It's a very hard topic because I don't like the idea of giving the equipment out either, but the same time I've seen it firsthand when people get sick and get diseases and lose limbs from using dirty needles and it's absolutely disgusting and horrible. And if somebody uses the needles that are completely dirty and full of viruses and that puts us at a point where we have to continuously use our EMTs and ambulances but they could go to people that are having a serious emergency. Instead all the drug addicts are taking all of our emergency responses

We know there will always be addicts and without those treatment places what is their alternative. It is not a bleeding heart moral problem. YOU WILL NEVER STOP OVER ALL DRUG ADDICTION....DO YOU UNDERSTAND. Once you understand this you start to understand the need for drug treatment places that give out clean needles. So, I looked up Turner Syndrome. It is not someone with male genitalia and XX chromosomes. It only affects females, and they have the correct genetalia, but they have a missing or partially missing X chromosome. That completely changes the narrative. She is a female.
ACCURATE - a woman can be born with 1 X chromosome and survive be healthy appear like a woman. A person can never be born with Y only chromosome as you always need an X to sustain life. Anyone who may be conceived with only 1 X will not last long in the uterus and the body expels the fetus. SO NEVER IN HISTORY HAS A PERSON BEEN BORN WITH ONLY 1 Y chromosome.

I did some research and this is what I found: Intersex means a person is born either male or female in chromosome or DNA but SOME of their features may be more pronounced one sex or the other. NO PERSON IN HISTORY HAS BEEN BORN WITH XX & XY (4 chromosomes) the most any person can be born with is 3 also known as TRISOMY. i.e. a man could be fully male all organs, penis, scrotum, testicles, beard but have gynecomastia which means his breasts may be slightly or greatly enlarged but it does not qualify him to be a woman since he produces sperm and is xy chromosome and this is normal male not intersex. So intersex means that there are different degrees to the anomaly at birth or that may occur later during or post puberty - enlarged breasts of men can happen at puberty or as an adult. The same with a woman who is xx with uterus, vagina, fallopian tubes, ovum producing periods but also have extra facial hair , that person is still a woman even among normal woman who are not intersex - the facial hair can be removed or some women may have a slightly larger Adam's apple than the average woman or a woman can be extremely flat chested below the average woman - but it does not make them men. Some men have little facial hair or bodily hair or muscles but it does not make them women. THIS IS LUDICROUS NONSENSE TO PUSH TRANS-SURGERIES if SOME PRESENT With slight aspects of the opposite sex. One other syndrome Kleinfelter's Syndrome person born with XXY - abnormal to have an extra chromosome so this is a man with an extra FEMALE chromosome so this person would ONLY ONLY be born with all male organs inside (prostate, testicles, vas deferens tube to pass urine and semen) and outside have penis and scrotum, but smaller penis/scrotum (very tiny), less facial hair and slightly larger breasts) so the person still produces some sperm very little or none but can impregnate a woman, and they have weak bones which is a myriad of health issues, but some other normal may be impotent or produce little or no sperm even with XY. the normal male hormone. Tiny percentage born this way per year. There are other intersex hermaphrodite syndromes. But all are one sex or the other depending on their chromosome DNA and what INTERNAL organs they are born with that determines their sex. And, if they do not wish to have the other organs, then they can get them cosmetically changed otherwise there is no medical reason to change. TURNER SYDROME: SINGLE X = WOMAN WITH one X CHROMOSOME. JABCOB'S SYNDROME:: XYY man taller than average, learning disabilities. XXX SYNDROME: Woman with extra X who will have mild symptoms seizures, kidney issues, learning issues, taller than average , delayed growth, memory, fine motor skills. NO PERSON HAS BEEN BORN WITH "Y" ONLY. NO HUMAN WAS EVER BORN WITH BOTH GAMEDES OR BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS IF THEY DID THEY COULD REPRODUCE THEMSELVES AND THAT HAS NEVR HAPPENED TO ANY PERSON IN HISTORY - THE PERSON CANNOT SURVIVE HORMONALLY AS WELL. A FETUS WITH ONLY ONE Y CHROMOSOME or one X CHROMOSOME CAN NOT SURVIVE IN UTERO. REASON THE X CHROMOSOME IS ESSENTIAL IN ALL HUMANS TO DEVELOP A FETUS IN THE WOMB SO THAT PERSON CAN NEVER BE BORN EVEN IF THE EGG STARTED TO DEVELOP LIKE THAT. SOME MALES have XXYY which is 1 in every 40.000 births so rare. IN THE USA IN 2023-- 3,600,000 live babies born. So the intersex birth rate is a fraction of 1 % infinitesimal. So this notion that intersex is a major issue is rare and still one sex is predominant in all of the people with this syndrome, they still should not chose the opposite sex but be guided by the chromosomes, characteristic internal sex organs with which they were born with, not how they present with graduations of anomalies be they slight or greater on the outside of their bodies which can be left as is and many do or changed cosmetically.
