I’m having lessons on line with Nick and the last one was about practising the half swing back and through. I’ve not hit a full swing on the range for a month now. This really does work. My ball striking on the course has improved massively, mainly because i’ve learnt to keep my head still through the swing.👍 Stick with it, bit at a time, you will reap the rewards
I’m glad you mentioned the hip movement at the end. Could you mention this more, especially at when this action should occur? I feel like it’s one of those keys that get glossed over.
Thanks Nick, another great video as a follow up to last Friday. I personally find doing shorter swings more difficult but I can see the logic in doing so. Thx Bernhard
Nick can you comment on weight distribution on the feet? I feel I may be too much on the toes and the club head moves out farther thus causing a hosel shot…thanks
Hi Nick, Thank you very much for your great videos and I have been enjoying watching all. I have one question. According to this video and also another your video "FOLLOW THROUGH | GOLF TIPS | LESSON 164", the left arm was bended in follow-through. But other Stack & Tilt Golf guide book says both right arm and left arm need to be extended in follow-through. Which is better for amateur golfer?
One thing that is a bit confusing is when do the hands start coming up after the initial inside hand path ? If they don’t come up at some point the hands will be between the right shoulder and right pocket !?! Help
I don’t personally feel this, as long as you move the low point of the swing in front of the ball you will have more chance of keeping the arms straight
Really like this new swing but my bad shots are always shanks , I’m a 9 handicap and shoot around 80 most of the time so just trying to get more consistent and have a swing that’s easier on my back but can’t keep hitting shanks because that’s usually followed up by a big pull , any reason to hit shanks with stack and tilt ?
I’ve been working on stack and tilt but I’ve gotten even more steep. My ball goes straight to 45 degree left. Extremely low flight. My divot is so deep that the club gets stuck in the ground and I can’t follow through.
Maybe try visualizing the imaginary pane of glass going from your shoulders to the ball (from Hogan’s 5 Lessons); keep your club path under that pane of glass? Pretty hard to get steep like that. Just my 2 cents worth.
Watched that sequence where you were shown swinging seversl times in succession at a really slow speed, stopping it on and off at various positions, so I could see what it looked like. Only downside Nick was that I gave you a speech impediment in the process. LOL!

Fantastic thanks Nick that really simplified things for me 👍

Yes, sir!!!! Thank you, brother, as always a great video .... I'm getting ready for the weather to break out here and hit the course.
Nice one and good luck Tone 💪🏌️

i really need to send you my swing! love your friday videos. thank you.
Do you roll your arms as you finish? Does the trail arm roll over the lead arm? Can you explain how your arms relate in the P8 position?

Yes Bernhard, some golfers do find this harder but great way to practice
This is not EASY. If I was 40 years younger, fit, supple & strong, I would commit to Nicks method. It makes such complete sense.

To keep your arms straight through impact, are you hitting more with your right hand?
I don’t personally feel this, as long as you move the low point of the swing in front of the ball you will have more chance of keeping the arms straight
Hello Nick, should the shaft exit below the lead shoulder in the follow thru?
My club tends to exit above my shoulder.
Yes to help stay on plane for more consistent contact and direction

It's hard to say exactly Bob without seeing your swing, sorry
Are you feeling a pause at the top of the backswing? - thanks
Great video! How do I build my own grid?
It depends what you practice on, if you have a mat you can draw the lines yourself like i do
When I tilt back on the follow through I'm hitting up on the ball. Why is that?
Im guessing your not moving your hips forward enough in the downswing/finish

Agree Ben 👏
He does make it look so easy 😂
Lots of years of practice helps Samuel
