I have been going to golftec Folsom Ca USA for a year. I believe in the S&T method and have seen consistent improvement with a long way to go and still working at it. Rob communicates S&T better than anyone I have been exposed to. This putting video has truly intrigued me. I want to hear about how to stroke the ball with the putter…... I have been told to have same b-swing as follow through length with putter. Thx guys! Rob Remington
This is a very useful putting lesson. Its an important reminder (for me, at least) of how ball placement can effect the stroke. I've been missing to the left (I'm lefthanded). That being said, I can so vividly picture this young man standing on an Island in a speedo ala the movie "Couples Retreat", I laughed a bit through the entire lesson. Thanks! Needed the lesson and the chuckle.
Get an Edel putter fitting and find out which putter alignment mark(s) fits your eyes and allows you to actually aim in the direction you believe you are aiming.
We don’t know how much alignment lines on a putter is by far EEEExtremely important. For me I have a Scotty Cameron Phantom X5… I like the feel when the ball is kicked off MOI wise it’s perfect for me….BUT alignments on Scotty putters where ( except for the new X11 ) poor and non existant. I painted my putter in one colour mat black and added a white line on the front part….now I have more focus on where to kick no distractions.
Arc are a little bit different depending on the putter and technique used. But to set up something like this I place two alignment sticks on the ground with a tee in the middle of the sticks. I then bent the stick one finger width on both ends of the alignment stick and hold them there with two tees. Hope this helps.
I too tend to miss on the right often so I'll be more aware of how inside my arc is. Many thanks, it was very interesting!
Thanks for watching. Glad the video was helpful! 👍🏻
Sounds good! Glad you enjoyed it
Masters make the complex easy to understand.

Agreed. I'm a certified Edel fitting and use an Edel putter.

I'm curious if you saw great improvement on the course with your putting after this lesson. It looked like you really had things dialed in by the end.
Where did you get the rod to slide the putter shaft on?
a great video. thanks
Thanks for watching, Larry!
Thanks Rob and Timo. Can you share how you built the putting grid and dimensions? Or is there some way I can get that information?
There’s some more information in the Stack&Tilt website/portal. www.stackandtilt.com

Rob what edel series putter is that? I'm thinking about making a change.

What golf course did he say?
awesome
Thanks!
I guess the golf course was in Spain? Not clear that one. Also this one I couldn’t really get compared to the logic of S&T for regular clubs tbh
Yes, golf course is in Spain. There are 3 fundamentals to putting, just like the full swing. Thanks for the feedback! 👍🏻
So what you are saying is take someone with you to film what you are doing so you can analyze it later?!?!
Get on with it.
Which part? 😅
