Jess I cannot thank you enough. I finally found a local stack and tilt instructor. I just finished my session. We worked P3 to P8 the whole time. By the end of the lesson I had 30 yards minimum more distance and was striking the ball more solid than I ever have. It was amazing how much he was like you.
I just needed a pair of live eyes to stop me when I messed up. We moved the ball back in my stance a little. Worked on my swaying. Worked on keeping my left arm straight though Impact and set my right foot back a little.
Jess I am 80 and have struggled over the last year with good contact. I have been watching your stack and tilt. I believe this method can help me improve. Your instruction and showing P-1 thru P10 is very good I am going to try this stack and tilt

@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton I'm here again, back for a refresher. I'm quite confident in saying this is THE most important and helpful video for someone to play good golf.
Thanks, Jess, for the video. I'm a strong believer in P1 and P2. I know that if I employ P1 and P2 correctly, the rest of the swing sequence will come naturally, resulting in mind-blowing shots. Also, it eliminates unnecessary swing thoughts.
Hi Jess! Getting back into the game after 3 years absence. Been searching the web for several months in quest of a drill that would reprogram my muscle memory. Your stack and tilt P1-P10 tutorial is probably the best course I’ve seen on the web thus far. Well segmented, clearly explained, concise and precise all at once. Great teaching! Thank you so much for helping me reconnect with this extraordinary discipline which is golf. Jack.
Great lesson! Quick question…. At impact is the club directly in-line with the left arm or should there be a slight angle? Centrifugal force says the club should be a direct extension of the left arm in my mind it has to.
It’s in line with the left shoulder not at impact so about 6 inches past impact. You have to becareful and I will do drills with people holding the angle about a foot past impact. I do online lessons if you need help
This video made me review my positions. I discovered a fault at P2 which caused me to go over all my positions. P2 is essential to getting in to proper positions at P3 and P4. Excellent post #S&T
I was pulling my hands in at impact P7 and didn’t know it until I saw it on video. Now I am doing short swings to work on keeping those arms straight through that contact point and into the follow through.
Jess ... this is pure gold for me as I transition to SnT. I will practice this everyday in the backyard. You are a great teacher ... easy going ... fun ... and you keep it simple. I'm 65 and carry a 8.2 index
This was very well presented. Simple, repetitive and through. As a recent convert to stack and tilt, trying to maintain a 8 handicap this refresher is mandatorily viewing for me weekly. Thank you
Thanks for replying…now that i know there’s a real person behind these…..To met one of the big advantages of stack and tilt over other systems is that I (as an advocate of David Pelts) use “position #3, #4, and #5 with all my irons including wedges. Stack and tilt allows these non full swings without introducing accelerated weight shift or any other “adjustments” to the downswing. This makes Half shots and 1/4 shots much more repeatable.. My point is…if I’m correct….play it up…why doesn’t any one do a fair comparison of the various swing systems. rotatory golf, stack and tilt, natural golf, traditional trail leg drive to target. Etc. I think stack and tilt for the average amateur would make the most scents.
Once we get to know the fundamental. In each faze of the golf swing. Makes enjoy able play from contact consistently. Thank you .Its helped my golf game to a lower handicap.
Thank you! I think I might be exaggerating the weight balance and hand forward lean a bit much and producing some pull draws to hooks, but I easily gained 15 to 20 yards without warmup, and could hit beautiful draw shots that have not been able to do so in the last year or so

Great video. P1 and P2 I get into great positions however I struggle on a swing thought to get to P3 . my club face at P2 matches my spine angle but I just struggle on how to get to P3. Thank you!
Jess, thank you for this really great video. I have taken the P3-P8 swing distance to the course a couple of times with great results. However, sometimes I have a tendency to go left. Can you comment on feet position at address for irons, do you recommend a square stance for all shots or feet move a little (think Ben Hogan stance for short irons compared to driver).
Hello and thank you for your comments:) the club face would be slightly closed if you are hitting the ball to the left. Ball position might also be too far forward.
Your tip for P1 address using foot flare setup with pressure 70/30 split on the front leg was something Ive overlooked over the last 3 years. I tried your tip, instantly adding 30-50 yards on my drives. Im also hitting everything really pure, and more consistently. I cant thank you enough.

Thank you Mitch! Yes, you have to have the correct movements of extending tilting and turning to make this happen. You shouldn't have any stress. I do online lessons if you need help:)
Great video. I’m in my fifth week of total right knee replacement. Because of the weight displacement, I can practice at the range. As careful as I can be my seven iron is as far as it was before surgery.
Thanks for the video - very intriguing. I'm gonna try this method. I noticed you turn the clubface over through impact though (not square-to-the-arc as you advocated) - is that why you don't have forward shaft lean at impact or is shaft lean (compression) a weight orientation issue?
I tried it on a course the other day , wow I’ve never struck it so pure, my only concern is I can feel my back being stretched a bit uncomfortably, might just have to get used to it or maybe do some stretching before hand to compensate
Thanks for the explanation of the different phases of the stack and tilt. Question: You start off with 70% off tire weight on the lead side, will that remain until you make the shift to the front side? Question: Does the weight distribution from the steers position change from an option to a driver? Thank you.
Hey Melvin! At the top of your swing you are about 50-50 but as you continue your downswing and follow through from p4--p10 your weight moves forward forward and more forward.
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Thank you, practiced today in the yard, 3 months after knee replacement, haven't played in awhile but using your P1-P10 video, I made some very complete swings through the ball. @@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Thank you, practiced today in the yard, 3 months after knee replacement, haven't played in awhile but using your P1-P10 video, I made some very complete swings through the ball. Your suggestion to begin he backswing with the lead arm and shoulder seems to put the club on plane without thinking about it. Staying over the ball with your method keeps me from overswinging. Much appreciated. Going to the range tomorrow morning !!! Thanks for replying and continued best wishes
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Forgot to mention, focusing on letting my right shoulder pass under my chin seems to generate speed and release of the clubhead. I'm excited to give it a try.
