More good stuff Jess. Thanks to you, Rob Chaney in Singapore and Tom Saguto you're all helping this old 86 yr old guy re-discover his golf game. Be good.-Russ
This is the best video I’ve seen in 20 years. I never understood I had to tilt or side bend on the backswing and the downswing. Just amazing. Thank you so much.
I tested it today and was crushing it off the tee. I couldn’t believe how much father I was than before. Even my playing partners were commenting how much farther I was hitting it. I’m so excited. I can’t thank you enough. It’s like I finally found the missing move I’ve been searching for forever.
Great thank you! I think it’s just misunderstood stack and tilt is a system for teaching and playing golf based around a 3 dimensional description the swing. It helps to account for all the limbs and joints
Jess- fantastic work you do! As one of your students, I’ve been trying to understand and adopt the extend/tilt/turn positions/movements and when done correctly the results are awesome. Interestingly, while focusing on keeping my left triceps touching my chest during the swing I became aware of how different the body felt during the backswing…a NEW FEELING…and then, when trying to get more “oomph” out of the swing…started to sense the error of using arm muscles to get the “oomph”….and started to get the “oomph” by feeling the effort made to turn the hips forward while keeping the arm muscles relaxed (and of course STRAIGHT:) )…wow SO DIFFERENT than how I had been swinging!!
Excellent....need to work on this consistently....and at some point .... more hip/shoulder turn will translate to higher catapult swing and longer distance. 😎
As I have been having issues with my driver on the course for the last couple of weeks, this video is so timely. I will take the great information you provided in this video to the range this week to see if I can correct whatever I have been doing wrong. Cheers.
invaluable lesson thanks, ive tinkered with stack and tilt in the past BUT i fundamentally misunderstood the 'tilt' and was doing the left side tilted over mistake that you describe, in fact i would guess the tilt (shoulder down in particular in the 10 words) is the most misunderstood aspect, i recently realized one is supposed to turn the shoulders in an inclined circle whilst doing a side tilt (side bend) at the same time, i went to the range the other day and only mishit 4 out of 100 balls using stack and tilt (those mishits being the result of me talking to myself internally and losing concentration 🤣🤣) so now i have the book by Plummer and Bennett and am tuning into your channel and those you mentioned, cant play much real golf here as its too cold but looking immensely forward to the new season come March and playing with stack and tilt. cheers
Hi , going to try stack and tilt ,your videos are really good thanks , any advice on a person with a lazy left eye please ,i can only see out of my right eye , many thanks
Really enjoy your videos. I’m 78 and have been playing for 20 years. I still have balance issues and frequently jump out of my stance particularly with the driver. Do you have one swing thought that could help?
What is the weight distribution at set up? I am doing a lot better with irons thanks to Jess and Seguto, but even on par 5’s I have to use a 5 iron from the ground (at the Tee) because I can’t hit a driver to save my life 😂
60 - 40 on the front leg. With the knees changing flex the weight goes 50 - 50 at p4 top of swing and then goes forward forward and more forward on the downswing. The driver you need a little more tilt at set up. Hope this helps.
Hi I wanted to let you know today in NY it was about 65 degrees, i went to the range. I spent the first 25 balls on the half swing from the video you did with Tom Saguto. They were crispy. Then i started to slowly lengthen the backswing and almost every shot was crispy KFC. High and straight, i was going to get new irons but i don’t need them, my Taylormade M4s were LOOOOOOOONNNG today. Thanks for a great video. Now it time to fix the driver! Again thanks
It looks like your right arm is totally disconnected from your body when you do a right arm only swing is that an optical illusion or are you actually letting your right elbow fly away from your body?
Because they don’t take the time to understand it:) Stack and Tilt encompasses so many systems inside the system. Sometimes it’s difficult for people to grasp the depth of information . But it’s a system for teaching and playing golf based around a 3 dimensional description of the swing
Alex Cjecka, Charles Howell and Kevin Stadler are 3 I know for sure using ST Coach Andy Plummer. But if you understand the system all tour players do the fundamentals recommended by stack and tilt. Some do more and some do less prescribed amounts but all extend tilt and turn :) hope that helps! Thanks :)

Thanks Jess. I'm getting more consistent with my driver Thanks to you! Stack and Tilt all the way!!

Makes sense to me, not sure why everybody on the internet hates the stack and tilt method 🤔

Thank you Ed!!! I wouldn’t know unless I saw your swing:) I do online lessons if you’d like.
How much weight (%) do you have on left leg at setup & does it increase at top of backswing?
I did see 60% with driver. Stack and tilt
Thank you Jess. Perfect timing played today driver driving me crazy.
Yes sir Patrick!
I like To see you do a video on leg action

Do you tee the ball lower with Stack and Tilt
I like it lower but not necessarily
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Thank you Sir
@@bobburch2151 my pleasure Bob thanks for watching!
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton I got a lot of of your videos and you explain everything so well
I have a tendency to top my drives when I hit my drives they are relatively straight, but as for topping how can I stop.
Practice letting the bottom of the club brush the ground.

The right arm drill only looks like that because when you connect your left arm it brings it down together
