EXACTLY! Like, it totally bothers me that the women on TBBT are only interested in shoes and guys! I mean, Penny, okay, she has to be the girly girl. But the others? Again. It's mostly Penny. Amy and Bernadette are pretty supportive even if they don't share their lovers' interests. They know it's part of who their lovers are. Penny though goes behind Leonard's back and tosses his things out without asking him which he wants to keep and throw out. Penny is a BITCH.

I agree. It really puts women in a bad light, portraying them as characters who dismiss and abuse the things that their partners love but then force everything they love on their partners! After all, Leonard watches sports for Penny, Sheldon planned a Little House on the Prairie themed birthday for Amy, Howard almost went on a fishing trip with his father-in-law to please Bernadette…but do they ever make the same kind of gestures for the boys? Nope! They really come across as being entitled.

Yeah, they were interested to know why they enjoy comics, but they never built on top of that because of how little they care. Wherever you were going with that, there's no backing it up.

I just watched the episode and have to say I was not liking the girls. if I had a TARDIS taking it away would be grounds for divorce, then again if I ever get a house I would have a whole room devoted to Doctor Who so the person I marry should be as much of a fan as I am.

The left was a wall containing in a box the public phone to the police station, with a hatch inside so you could grab the hand of the little tyke who was playing with it, whilst you sat at the desk, warming your frozen feet by the electric heater.

Ok normally I like Bernadette but I hated her in this episode. What gives her the right to tell Howard what to do with something that belongs to him. Even manipulate her own friends to make sure Howard loses it. Why do this to someone that you love.

If I knew anyone (male or female) who was in a relationship with or married to assholes like that, I'd hope they have enough brains to tell the mother fucker off (even if it means ending the relationship/marriage).

Well Howard can't just bring in the TARDIS to his house and expect his wife to be okay with it. It's big and one has to be thinking when he/ she buys it, planning to stick it in their house somewhere. They are in the marriage together, so Howard should've consulted with Bernadette before he bought the TARDIS.

This show was supposed to be about nerd humor and how they didn't fit in and it's all about the girls trying to make them feeling like children for still liking the things they do, I'm 24 and I still like this stuff. I'm a grown man and I'll watch what I want and buy whatever useless awesome tardises and anime and whatever else I want

Not all the girls make them feel like children. It's mostly Penny. Amy has stood by Sheldon despite the fact she doesn't like Dr Who, comics, trains, or sci-fi in general. Bernadette stood by Howard too. She only gets annoyed if he spends too much money on action figures. Howard needs to know his boundaries.

That first half is exactly what made me hate the show. It started off okay but then they couldn't even get the culture right. It's kinda nice that it hit the mainstream but reduced to this weird participation geek badge. I like BBT = I'm a geek! Someone actually said that to me.

I cringed when Penny said 'For every episode of Dr Who that Leonard made me sit through'. Just fucking tell him you don't like Dr Who and that you shouldn't have to watch something you're not interested in just because he's into it. She makes it out like Leonard is making her suffer having to watch a show she finds no enjoyment in when all she has to do is tell him: 'I don't like this show, I'd rather not watch it anymore but you go right ahead and watch it with your friends while I do something else that I do enjoy.'

This is about the level of humor I'd expect from a cbs show.
One you can't "decide" for gods sake it's Howard's. Granted when your married there are things that are shared, one can choose to share or not. Plus Bernadette's the one that wanted a Prenup "separate finance's. Howard's never bugged her about what she spent money on or asked to get rid of anything.
It's moments like this that make my realize how mean spirited this could be sometimes.

Bernadette really pissed me off in this episode & I said she was my #1 choice for primary characters that should be killed off or simply written out of the show.

I already stated that if I had a girlfriend who made me get rid of all my collections of various pop culture franchises because she thought they were stupid, I'd tell her we have no business being together.
I'd also say "If you can't stand the fact that those things make me happy, then tell you what? How about I have my collection of stuff that makes me happy & you GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE! Also, don't let the door hit you on the way out."
Which is why ladies & gentlemen, I would only marry a girl who is tolerant & respectable of what I enjoy in pop culture & will also respect my collection of memorabilia & will NEVER EVER make me get rid of the stuff & will NEVER EVER try to get rid of it all in other ways.

I can't stand how Bernadette is in the new episodes, she wouldn't let Howard go to space so she tattled on him to his mom, she yelled at Raj when she and Howard lost HIS dog, kicked him out when he lived with them for HELPING out around THEIR house, and she nearly broke Leonard and Penny up to win a scavenger hunt!

I wonder how people would react if they killed her off, like Howard get's a call saying that she was in a terrible car accident & didn't make it.
Another thing that annoyed is when the girls went to vegas where they got drunk and went to a male strip club, how come Bernadette made a huge fuss about Howard's affair with a sailor moon cosplayer (and possibly Raj) before they they even met but it's alright for her to go to strip clubs after they got married?!?! Also I just remembered when the guys were having a sleepover and playing star wars and she wanted to play so they let her and she had so much fun. Now she dominates over Howard trashing Dr. Who, what's worse is that the Tardis isn't seen after this episode meaning it's destruction was a waste, they could've at least sold it to Stuart or Sheldon for a lot of money instead of give it away for free!
tbh though, I think it would shock/offend a lot of people if they killed her off since she's been made into a main character. She isn't a very hated character for people to accept her death, like when the simpsons did it with Maude Flanders.

#1: Whatever I buy myself (with my own funds) or whatever is given to me (& only me) as a gift is mine & only mine, the wife would have no say (or any form of control) in it's fate.
If she doesn't like whatever personal belongings I own, then...
"TOUGH FUCKING LUCK!" I'd say to her.
#2: Whatever the wife buys (with her own funds) or whatever gifts she (& only she) is given will be her's & only her's, so I'd have no say in what happens with it.
I can be respectable of her personal belongings if she is mine.
#3: Whatever we both buy together (combined funds) or whatever is given to both of us as a gift, then those are shared items with 50-50 control over them.
I saw the scavenger hunt episode on earlier this week & again saw how much of a bitch Bernadette was.
I said if I were a character in the show & were in their group, I actually said I'd go off on Bernadette with a little rant about why I (possibly) hated her similar to how Quagmire went off on Brian with a rant about why he doesn't like him in an episode of Family Guy.

Amy never should have gotten the TARDIS. She was playing for Howard. Raj was playing for Bernadette and she had promised him the TARDIS if he won the game.
Now, we don't get to see what the new rules are, but before the change the TARDIS either stays in Howard's possession or Raj gets it.
If Bernadette promises the TARDIS to Amy if she loses, then both Amy and Raj must get the TARDIS. If she promises the TARDIS to Amy if she wins, then both Howard and Amy should get it.
If Howard let Bernadette get away with this, it's no wonder Sheldon thinks he's stupid.

People can like what they want, and all i was saying is that i hate how they made look that only guys would love Doctor Who.I mean there is people who love Doctor Who and TBBT and there is no reason for TBBT to make fun of Doctor Who or DW fans in any way. I used to love so much TBBT, but not anymore... At leasts not after this episode.

I don’t like Doctor Who (don’t kill me) but I still hated Bernadette’s attitude. Howard was happy to possess the Tardis and she took it away from him, just because she didn’t like it. And it’s even sadder that also his friends turned their back against him.
Howard may have been a jerk sometimes, but he surely is the one who gets the worst treatment by everyone during the show…
If somebody tries to sell your TARDIS, you shouldn't be around them.

Bernadette's tardis sppech. I knew exactly what she was talking about, yet I'm sure the crowd was lost. This is the like the complete opposite of when the nerds are talking science stuff and it goes over my head. But when oh when is The Doctor going to make a guest appearance on BBT?
