You know your bad back breaks my heart. I don't have much money, so I can't help you out that way, but I try to help my making sure I watch every video all the way through and naturally, using the thumbs up. I hope that helps you.
You quite literally have the setup that I want more than anything - so I’m now going to work even harder to achieve this. Thank you for your walk through and commentary!
One day you seppos will discover Australia and see how we have transformed the tray/canopy.. might just blow your pretty little minds 😂
Great drone shots Nick! Also such a cool set up.
thanks man
I have a 2022 ZR2 I would love to have a similar set up as yours. Awesome truck!!
My plain Jane 4yr old ZR2 is very jealous now. Nicely done sir!
And half a bottle of wine drunk :) Great stuff! I need to refresh your ESCAPE video now. Wonderful. As if I was there.... Greetings.!
Thanks for the video Nick. Alu-Cab is a great product and made in South Africa where I am from.

I don't even live in an environment like this, but I really like the car and I want ,one super high-quality video. Thanks for sharing, man.
yeah, mirror others comments. That was cool, and a really interesting look at an often overlooked side of photography. Great vid dude, thanks for sharing.
Very interesting! Thanks Nick

Excellent video! Good to see you outdoors again 👍
Really well done video and commentary. Thanks very much for some great and innovative ideas on the equipment!
Such a great video and setup! I'm always amazed at all these random small things that are so functional that I never would have thought of if I did a build like this.
Great Video thanks. Great scenery too. Keep well & stay safe 👍🇬🇧
Super-cool rig, and very well thought out --- I want one!!!
Great set up
Such a cool setup Nick
Awesome canopy, and everything else.
Great video and I love your truck! What a great setup and you have inspired me to start working on my pickup! Great work and I love your photography
Incredible!
That’s really very sophisticated outdoor system! Smart investment and lot of fun !
Glad the back is letting you out and about. Good to see!
Thanks for the video Nick, that was really great and has given me some interesting ideas for the future...
Best camera accessory ever.
Great rig. A place for everything and everything in its place. Stay safe out there.
Hey Nick, Jose from Puerto Rico. Great video man! That's one awesome rig, my friend! Thanks for sharing.
A dream vehicle!
Thanks for sharing, awesome build! Nice investments for the future doing it this way.
Wow nice setup very functional.
When I grow up, I want to have a truck as awesome as that
Awesome truck, mate. Love it. 👍🦘🇦🇺
That's cool. I understand about the traction mats, getting really good ones. We lost one in the sand.
That is some pickup, great setup 👍
man ive been waiting for this for sooooo long
Vert well thought out rig.
Longest time Nick. Keep on keeping on 😀
Nice build. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels
Beautiful setup Nick
Nice truck. Thanks for the tour! =)
This is a dream setup!! I'd be camping every chance I got!
WOW, Nick!! This is awesom!! What a cool setup! I want to be you when I grow up!!
Love you style bro, with the camping and photography, i have recently moved to australia from new zealand and got myself a r5, and an off road vehicle im doing up, you take some good photos, i am just getting into my photography and learning some good stuff off you!
This is not a truck, its a house :D. Enjoy it, safe roads and good light!
When you are on an adventure.. its the only house you have :)
Cool truck!
Ice to see you rig its a beast
Dang this is awesome!
I've been in that beast - It's sweet!
You are really making me regret selling my Holden Colorado Z71. Your set if brilliant mate 👌#GoChevy
Way cool Nick.
This is really cool. I'd call it the dream 😉
Hi Nick, it all looks amazing! The Rolls - Royce of equipment. Health to Enjoy! And Happy camping...
Thanks Nick, only half way through, but loving the video, just bought a Land Rover Discovery Sport, THANKS FOR SHARING!
Awesome rig man! I am looking up that tire table right now for my Jeep.
I am ready to go camping!!
Nice job. I'm in the middle of a similar build using a Duramax Z71 Colorado. So far I've upgraded wheels to gain a little wider track and have installed a bed rack and roof top tent. But I have a pile of parts waiting to get installed and still more to go!
Love It!
Nick Price off road excursion designer vehicles. Great video! Thanks Nick you have a lot of good ideas.
Thanks Nick The forever struggle between the Van and the truck !!! I have changed my mind so many times. My purpose is mainly for wildlife and landscape photography but also may want to get out in it for extended periods of time as a (home) The challenges of storage come into play but 4 x 4 is definitely the most important .I don't want to be at the rest stops will all the other folks. Always compromises for either set ups but I think the truck is the way to go. You got me thinking now about getting the full size truck. I was always going with Alucab products if I went that route Nice job on yours and thanks for the info Cheers dude
You brought up a good point about buying the Sprinter and other conversions. I was looking at them at first but got a tent shell from GFC in Montana on top of my 4-Runner instead. I carry a Jackery portable generator with solar panels. It allows me to plug in my small 600w microwave for heating food and drinks. With all my junk in the 4-Runner I still get the same gas mileage I did before the tent and other stuff was installed. Almost 19mpg with the V-6.
love it!
The ZR2 is a very capable rig. Front and rear lockers is huge.
Excellent rig! I was looking at the Colorado w/diesel a while back. I'm getting old and can't crawl around much anymore (such as getting on the tailgate then climbing up a ladder to get into the tent) so I went with a small overland trailer (sort of like a teardrop). My rig is not as "mobile" as yours but like I said I'm on the older side and with the trailer it's much easier to get into and out of than a RTT. I'm exploring the possibilities of getting a Colorado and putting a small slide in camper such as the 4WheelDrive. It still won't be as compact and mobile as your set up but again...my age plays into it. Again, nice rig!
Good deal. I like it.
Sick. 👍🏼
Awesome video and build Nick. We have a lot in common. I built a Z71 (ZR2 wasn't out yet) Colorado Duramax. I need to do a build video now
I'm in the process of building my truck, too. Base is a 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro. You ain't kidding about how much this stuff costs, lmao. Headed out to Virginia this weekend for Overland Expo East, to brainstorm some solutions, and taking a week to drive back to FL. It is going to be a damn good time. And the photos are going to be amazing. I hope 😛
This is making me want to build out something like this xD
Cool setup. I just spent 2 weeks camping in my VW Tiguan and a tent. I'd love to have a more put together setup. I'm jealous.
I went through it quickly! The solar panel on top of your pop up sleeping trunk is brilliant. One thought to the draws: why do you not use one as a kitchen with a gas cooking station and a cutting board for cooking. That was just one thought that crossed my mind. Overall I love it. Ice and easy to handle!
It is crossed my mind! But this vehicle is my daily driver which means that what is in those drawers change from time to time based on if I’m on a trip or not. Or if I will be doing any camping or not so I don’t want anything too “ built in”
DUUUUDE! That is a sick rig. I'm so jealous😭 I'm a professional shooter and sell fine art. I'm an American stuck in the Philippines waiting to get my Filipina a visa to move back to the states.
My plan is to do exactly what you did but with a Toyota Tacoma. Great job!
Yep: Got the tire table, too! 🤣
Cool ❤
So awesome to see the synergy between landscape photography and overlapping. Overlanding is what brought me to landscape photography and to see the two collide like this is awesome. Great rig!
Nice Video... Greetings from Germany..
We put a 270-degree OVR awning on our mini-camper and it is amazing! So much covered area. Wraps all the way around to cover our galley area. Love that thing! And you're correct: The build is amazing.
yeah what a great addition, I would have done the 270 version if I didn't enter my tent from the back!
Yep, that would be an issue. Those little details make or break a camping trip. I love figuring out what works without making things complicated. You've got that thing set up nicely!
@@AndyCrawfordPhotos yeah thats the best part of these projects... Thats what I was most jealous of with Thomas's build, I would have loved the building of the inside of the van.. that looked like a ton of problem solving fun
@@NickPage, my wife & I have talked about those vans for down the road (as in, when we get too old to get in and out of this mini camper) - but they are so limiting. I love to push into the backcountry (although, not as far as you, apparently), and those vans just won't do it. Plus, they are so danged expensive.
It's impressive how much experience-based thought you put into this. Thanks for a really fun video!
🤞 the truck makes an appearance at Out Of Oregon!
For week 1 it will be there!
@@NickPage 👏👏👏
Very cool I'm 2 years into my wait-list for a Badlands Bronco and it's supposedly being built right now. Looking to do a similar build with it.
I'm from Spokane but in Texas now and I'm hoping to road trip back to Spokane next fall for some camping and family visits. And hopefully some pretty Palouse pics.
Very awesome rig and set up. Enjoyed the video. New to your channel.
Nick. This set up
Is so sweeet ! Our little truck bed tent that we will be in on our way home from Phoenix to Longbranch, WA seems like a Motel 6 compared to your 7 star luxury resort 😂
Amazing build buddy. I’m contiplating getting a truck now. Instead of buying another van.
Very awesome setup. Definitely saving this video for any future builds I may need. The tent on top is an absolutely amazing bit to have while camping.
My rigg was a 1966 F100 pickup then I upgraded to a 1974 to get power steering. And look where we are now.
My dad bought the 1966 F100 new for $2,000.00 and gave it to me in 1972. I saw the reciept for it after he passed. The rigg in this video cost what, $50 - 60 grand?
Nice job. I just sold an Magiolini Air Top that was on my Rubicon. If I'd had this setup, I'd still be running it. Thinking about an AWD Transit if I can find one that's 3-6 years old - I'm at the point where I don't really need all the off capatility, since I'd only use it if I were in a group. At my age, self-recovery is maybe a bit too risky, and using an InReach to call for help is likely to be expensive - better if I stick to backroads and logging roads.
This is near perfect for the outdoorsy type. I would absolutely love this.
