I always get an undercut, sometimes with a fade although I have straight/wavy hair. The great thing about the undercut (besides being my trademark style) is that when it grows, it seamlessly can be turned into a quiff or pompadour. What I find so great about getting the undercut is the easy maintenance - the sides are simply self-manageable, and although I am no barber, one trip to the hair salon can last me months before it becomes too unruly.

so I started experimenting with the undercut about a year and a half ago, and found that the "mop on top/skin on sides" style wasn't quite right for me, so with the help of my stylist (who has been doing my hair for over 10 years now) I somewhat combined a few of the styles seen here with a "taper cut/taper fade" which is essentially the undercut but instead of being disconnected, your hair actually fades up into it. the nice thing about it, too is that it gives you options for styling; I can comb it back, brush it all to one side, or my personal favorite: a side part, but instead of combing the larger portion to the side, I comb it up and towards the back, which results in a style with an almost pompadour-esque look to it, with the more mature and professional look off having a side parted.
I had an undercut and now I've let it grow for like 2 years. So the hair on the top is pretty much double as long as everything else, the majority of it goes just below shoulder height, I usually let it drip dry for the majority of time when I'm drying it, so it doesn't look too kept or high maintenance, kinda rugged looking, but clean, and my hair is a real dark brown colour, almost black, but in light you notice some really light browns, actually works really well, and I have a beard coming in, it kinda looks like an overgrown soft stubble, and shaven neck, of course, lol. And I kinda just use my hands to give the top a lil quiff-ish thing , so it doesn't look really flat against my scalp, gives it some volume, and sometimes I'll brush one side behind my ear and behind my neck and slightly shake my head to give it an uneven rugged look, I think it looks cool. And my hair is naturally wavy, in such a way as the guy in this video mentioned that 'lion mane' thing, like that kinda wavy.

Looks at the Long round and layered... yeah, my hair hasn't been that short in about 15 years.... It might be interesting to do a video that's not about cuts but how to style your hair if it has length x-y, what kind of wax/pomade or other stuff to keep it in place you can use etc.
If you have the hairline for it young guys around 20- 29 even in the early 30's can go with the Dean Winchester hairstyle, very attractive imo, easy to maintain and pretty edgy :)
I do a combination of the side part and the undercut. I have the under cut leaning to my right and then I part the left and I've gotten many compliments on it.
i've had 3 of the cuts you had in the list (messy, military and fade) and in my experience females like more bald/military look, as it shows confidence and dominant like you said. + all the girls have said that those with longer hair and combed somehow will spend more time in front of the mirror and will fix the hair more then them. so these days i'm rocking a military look
Looking for some advice here. I've been wearing a high and tight for 25 years. In the last few years I have developed 2 round bald spots on the top/back of my head. Looks like mickey mouse ears. I have tried cutting the tight part all the way across the back of my head only leaving a front portion with hair. I am now finally at the point of just cutting it all off with a 0 or 1, not shaving it. My wife asked me if I would grow my hair out for a few months and just see what it looks like as it has always been short in our 30 years of marriage. I agreed. I told here it looks like a comb over and comb overs are not cool these days. I told her I should just buzz cut it and be through with it. For the past three visits to the barber, I have had the Side part with it shaved on the parting. I certainly enjoy it and I do agree that it certainly gives the feeling of maturity towards said individual; as well I do feel confident and more outgoing with trying out new hairstyles. Hello Antonio.. i use hair cream for my hair, and shampoo them with a one day gap.. what do you recommend me how should i use hair cream? After shampoo when i comb my hair i apply it then next day in the morning i usually do not.. just wet my hair a bit and comb.. but sometimes i do apply.. this may cause hair to look greasy which i do not want.. do you recommend me to shampoo my hair everyday?? I actually do basically a combination of a messy with undercut. It's also dyed bright red. Clearly not for everyone, but so far it works for me. The style is loosely inspired by a cut Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance had in early 2011.
As a middle aged man I've tried several of these styles and I've found longer hair is better for me. Unlike my brother I didn't get the receding hairline. I'm middle aged with a full head of hair. Less than a year ago I shaved my head completely bald after letting it grow for 7yrs. I figured I'd try something new. Bad Idea! My head just wasn't designed to be bald like my brother whom looks great bald by the way! Its been 9 months and I'm so far happy with the way its growing. I don't think I'm gonna allow it to get crazy long like before but just to the neck area would be fine.

I also like the Crew Cut and Side Part. I had, in the past, thought about shaving my head, due to my thinning, but I under went a procedure and experimented on making my hair have more volume and now my girlfriend loves it!
My favorite haircut styles in this video from Real Men Real Style is the Buzz Cut and The Fade. My own best favorite haircut I love is the buzz cut skin fade. That's my favorite hairstyle during the spring and summer. But I also have short hair not buzzed on top but trimmed on the side of my head to a skin fade even.

My haircut is the crew cut at the top 3:25 with a fade at the bottom 7:10 half blade into a 1 blade, sometimes I grow the top out and either leave it messy or brush it to the side or the back

I do a combination of the side part and the undercut. I have the under cut leaning to my right and then I part the left and I've gotten many compliments on it.
I'm growing mine out while I still have hair, going the "Jon Snow" route!

and in my experience females like more bald/military look, as it shows confidence and dominant like you said.

Looking for some advice here. I've been wearing a high and tight for 25 years. In the last few years I have developed 2 round bald spots on the top/back of my head. Looks like mickey mouse ears. I have tried cutting the tight part all the way across the back of my head only leaving a front portion with hair. I am now finally at the point of just cutting it all off with a 0 or 1, not shaving it. My wife asked me if I would grow my hair out for a few months and just see what it looks like as it has always been short in our 30 years of marriage. I agreed. I told here it looks like a comb over and comb overs are not cool these days. I told her I should just buzz cut it and be through with it. Having the side part as my default hairstyle since my hair grows in that specific direction. Thinking about a change but I'm not quite sure what to pick. I'm on the fence between an undercut, buzz cut oder even a shaved head. Any suggestions or advices?
Update: Decided for a complete headshave. Love the look, will keep it like that for a while.

For the past three visits to the barber, I have had the Side part with it shaved on the parting. I certainly enjoy it and I do agree that it certainly gives the feeling of maturity towards said individual; as well I do feel confident and more outgoing with trying out new hairstyles.

Hello Antonio.. i use hair cream for my hair, and shampoo them with a one day gap.. what do you recommend me how should i use hair cream? After shampoo when i comb my hair i apply it then next day in the morning i usually do not.. just wet my hair a bit and comb.. but sometimes i do apply.. this may cause hair to look greasy which i do not want.. do you recommend me to shampoo my hair everyday?? I actually do basically a combination of a messy with undercut. It's also dyed bright red. Clearly not for everyone, but so far it works for me. The style is loosely inspired by a cut Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance had in early 2011.

As a middle aged man I've tried several of these styles and I've found longer hair is better for me. Unlike my brother I didn't get the receding hairline. I'm middle aged with a full head of hair. Less than a year ago I shaved my head completely bald after letting it grow for 7yrs. I figured I'd try something new. Bad Idea! My head just wasn't designed to be bald like my brother whom looks great bald by the way! Its been 9 months and I'm so far happy with the way its growing. I don't think I'm gonna allow it to get crazy long like before but just to the neck area would be fine.

I had, in the past, thought about shaving my head, due to my thinning, but I under went a procedure and experimented on making my hair have more volume and now my girlfriend loves it!

My favorite haircut styles in this video from Real Men Real Style is the Buzz Cut and The Fade. My own best favorite haircut I love is the buzz cut skin fade. That's my favorite hairstyle during the spring and summer. But I also have short hair not buzzed on top but trimmed on the side of my head to a skin fade even.
