    Dude, you’d be playing against other guys who are 6’10”. So there’s no guarantee you’d be scoring 8/game. Shareef isn’t the only 6’10” guy in college basketball. Also, I’m sure trying to live up to his dad’s name doesn’t make things easier. Just my thoughts.

    This is how hard it is to get in the NBA. Shaqs son, who got most of his traits, is struggling to score in college. It's crazy actually how hard it is. You're better off trying to win the lottery

      Just to make division one is only around one percent nba is even less. Imagine how much harder it is for "smaller guys at 6 foot through 6 foot 3" with being 6 foot 10 and up you can get away with not being skilled to play division one

    “If he’s cleared to play, there shouldn’t be anything holding him back”
    For real? With such a serious medical issue.. Being cleared to participate in athletics doesn’t mean that the problem is completely gone and it will never affect him again.. it just means that him playing again will not immediately jeopardize his health.
    It’s like if you got sick, and couldn’t work, so you go to the doctor, get a note for your absence, and generally that note will excuse you until a certain date. So does that mean that your completely cured, 100% back to normal on that date? Of course not, your at a point in your recovery that working isn’t gonna make you feel worse. You’re still gonna feel the effects of the sickness somewhat, just not like you were right in the middle of it.

    The physical part may be cleared to play, but it’s almost impossible to get past mentally. I had bad heart murmurs and once under control, walking to my car or doing anything, all I could think about was if my heart was going to fail. I give him credit for trying but I hope he decides to enjoy life and not take any risks playing basketball

  • @nathanbrown3069
    @nathanbrown3069 2 года назад +6

    If he wasn't 6 foot 10 he would be playing high division 2 or low division one which is obviously hard to be a high division two or one player but it's obviously not a power 5 conference caliber. Before his surgery though obviously he was an amazing basketball player

      A lot of NBA players come from poverty with hopes and dreams of getting that big paycheck to pull themsleves out of those said situations. It gives them something to work for. NBA legends children tend to groe up with a silver spoon. They have everything you could ever wish for at their fingertips. Thid just so happens to be the case for most NBA legends kids. BUT there are a few that look great. Scottie Pippen Jr. Looks like he's going to be a very good guard, and Bronny(regardless of on paper stats) has a very fluid game. He has great court vision, a nice jumper, and great defense. He just doesn't start because of the level of talent on his team. Next year will be a good judgement on his game.

    Not often does a Shaq come around, and even though his son may seem like his father I grew up watching Shaq when he played at L.S.U. when he was a freshman and Chris Jackson(Mahmoud Abdul Rauf)was his teammate. Shaq may want the best for his son, but Shareef will never be like his father who in my opinion is a one on one off, in other words there will never be another!!!

      C’mon now, 20 out of how many 6’9 200 pound guys out there in the last 20 years?
      You literally just proved what he is saying! Do you think 20 in 20 years, which is 1 a year on average is a huge number?
      You’re acting as if he said “every single player that is above 6’9 200+ pounds is not athletic.”, and that’s not at all what he said.
      I would say if you can only name 20 in the past 20 years, then it is pretty rare.

You could have said “ I can name a lot of 6’9 200+ that are athletic, past or present”. Did not have to put a number on it.
