Hunter is the best outside player I have ever seen at the college level, and I'm drill not sure what side of the ball I'm talking about. Best cover corner for sure.
I agree, watching him live, he is a generational player, but what do his stats reflect? Above average at best WR, DB? That is what the nerds see who generate the odds, vote in the end. It’s unfortunate
I think if we can continue to have top 25 recruiting classes these coaches will get then into "actual" relevance. I'm 3zcited to see us hopefully get to a bowl this year and then content in big ten championship next year!
It's gets worst than best player on the best team for the heisman. Now days, it seems it's only to the best QB. Not only is he, arguably, the best player in CFB, he's the most exciting to watch. He brings more to the table than just stats.
that’s the hook. Politics is not fair. The Best player in the nation is usually in the Trenches. Almost all draft classes it’s a lineman that becomes an all pro and one of the bigger names when rating the class. Not many CFP level Quarterbacks are in the top 5 best players on their own team
I agree Travis Hunter is an amazing player, but I still feel like Shir Sanders is unreal he is the best quarterback in my opinion in college football right now, especially knowing that the team he plays for his dog trash.
The Heisman is for the best offensive skill player (preferably a QB) on one of the best teams. It wasn't always that way but it is now. Too many people who have very little football knowledge have Heisman votes. We would get more fair results if voters were only coaches and former winners. A coach would have no problem calling a defensive player or an OL the 'most outstanding player".
Travis Hunter is 1 of 1. He is doing what no player has done in the past 50 years in terms of playing the entire game and being dominant on both sides of the ball.
If your team isn’t winning then you shouldn’t be eligible for the trophy. He is so low, which isn’t really low based on the amount of players there are, is because it’s just the beginning of the season and they lost a game. They keep winning and he keeps balling he will be in the room when they announce it for sure. Keep balling Trav!!!
Travis may not be in the EARLY top 5 b/c it's a high probability that voters are anticipating/predicting that Travis won't finish the season without an injury. Outstanding athlete, great player but being a workhorse on both sides of the ball for a school like Colorado is crazy. A 1 way or even partial 2 way Travis is a 1-3 CU team rn. I support Prime but at this point, it's obvious, Prime only concern is Prime & Shedeur. IF Travis finish the season healthy & still producing, the Heisman his, but that's a important IF....
It’s a double edged sword for Hunter....if he were playing at a program like Bama or Texas, he’d be way more in the limelight, but there’s no other coach in college football that would’ve given him the opportunity to play as a #1 on both sides of the ball like Deion has...so he’d have to shine as a DB. Travis is a 1 of 1 though....if he stays healthy for the entire year along with his QB, he’s gonna put up numbers that are gonna make it real hard for the committee to overlook him...cause that’s how he is.
Are you slow ? More in the limelight ? 😂😂😂😂😂 Colorado is the most watch football team .. are you slow ? Lmaoo get got the 2nd biggest following and is the 2nd richest player in college and on the front of ncaa… Colorado is the face or college football

Completely agree with the point about Hunter. It shouldn't matter who the guy plays for. He's the best player in college football. Love your videos❤
This is literally the first time I've heard anybody mention jenty or whatever his name is from Boise state. Dude was a dog last year and is a top player this year easily. Looks like prime Zeke out there. If he was on OSU or Georgia he'd be the most talked about player in the league. Please do a video on this guy. Get him the recognition he deserves
I can see the odds being lower for Hunter in the Heisman race due to the amount of gametime he gets and thus an increased likelihood of injury.
Unless the NFL team with the #1 draft pick for the 2025 draft needs an elite quarterback, no one is passing on Travis Hunter as the #1 draft pick. He is a "must have" if he's available.
Usually shutdown corners are afraid to make tough tackles.
Best player in NCAA #12
Not even close he's to small
@@jamiegunter7016 lol man plz
@@85dmac look at him playing in a weak conference and he still can't stop nobody he's to small a big body wide receiver's smoke him down south in the sec he would be a bench warmer
Matt been Husker fan since I was little I'm 38 now and love the Huskers I hope we can get to a decent bowl game pray that we do . I love this team and staff I hope we can bounce back dude really appreciate you taking time out of your day to give us a little hope !!! 🙏🙏🙏 GBR
Sorry bro. They are winning maybe 2 more games this season. Fire 🐷
what isn't fair is that dion is gonna get hunter hurt playing him both ways almost ever play...insane, he's will get hurt, just how hurt is the question
Nebraska isn’t gonna make a bowl game
That’s like saying this has nothing do to with the car, it’s the brakes….
He is the best overall player in college it’s not even debatable. No one is doing or has done what he’s done in college
I’ll say this as a Nebraska fan: Tou have no idea the type of athlete this kid is until you see him in-person.
You can watch all of the highlights you want on RUclips. Trust me, I did, and have watched plenty of CU’s games the last two season.
He really is *that* fuckin’ good. To see him play the overwhelming majority of an entire game while his team was getting bruised? Certified warrior. He still finished with 10 rec, 110 yds.
Hands down Travis is a Gem. They are screwing him over
It’s because everyone hates prime
Let’s be Honest With Ourselves For A Minute. . People Don’t like Colorado because Of the Confidence and Arrogance they have EVEN though The World think that they are Not A Top 5 Team. Coach Prime said it best … “Don’t Let My Confidence Offend Your Insecurities”.. Obviously they believe in themselves more and the people that’s watching either believe in them as well or trying to see if they believe as much as they portray 🤷♀️ either way it’s the BEST NAIL BITING COLLEGE FOOTBALL YOU GONE SEE ON SATURDAYs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If glazing Travis Hunter was a sport this channel would have a Heisman
The Heisman Trophy is cursed. I wouldn't even accept that garbage.
6:40 The Travis hunter talk finally starts.
PREACH BROTHER PREACH!!!
I agree with you Matt, Travis hunter is the truth
Hunter is the best outside player I have ever seen at the college level, and I'm drill not sure what side of the ball I'm talking about. Best cover corner for sure.
I agree, watching him live, he is a generational player, but what do his stats reflect? Above average at best WR, DB? That is what the nerds see who generate the odds, vote in the end. It’s unfortunate
Facts you put Travis on any team in the ncaa he is going to do what he does maybe more.
I think if we can continue to have top 25 recruiting classes these coaches will get then into "actual" relevance. I'm 3zcited to see us hopefully get to a bowl this year and then content in big ten championship next year!
Goooo Biggg Redddd 🎉😂
It's gets worst than best player on the best team for the heisman. Now days, it seems it's only to the best QB. Not only is he, arguably, the best player in CFB, he's the most exciting to watch. He brings more to the table than just stats.
This is likely to change!
Notre Dame, can't be considered because all of their Games are at Home.
MattBeBald, what's your prediction on the Big 12 and ACC conference championship game opponents?
Neberska is overrated.
that’s the hook. Politics is not fair. The Best player in the nation is usually in the Trenches. Almost all draft classes it’s a lineman that becomes an all pro and one of the bigger names when rating the class. Not many CFP level Quarterbacks are in the top 5 best players on their own team
Just realized the Notre Dame schedule.... How TF they get that insane home stretch?
It wouldn’t be no need to play both ways at texas and bama . They are loaded with talent . Depth is and talent is why these schools are who they are
Facts! Travis is on the cover of a video game and 3rd in NIL smdh@Loverainey33
Doesnt matter if we like it or not, but heisman isnt gonna go to a 6-7 win team.
So if they win more then that it should. It really shouldn't matter. The award is for the best player not the best team
@@gamempire96 like I said...doesn't matter if we like it or not. The Heisman will go to a winning team. It is what it is
Matt, i have been following you ever since Deion Sanders left Jackson State. I really enjoi college football and your analysis. I am a 57 year okd black guy who enjoys your show. I am Colorado fan and i disagree with you about Colorado but i respect your opinion. Great show on Travis Hunter and i agree.
Please cover HBCU football more, your fans cross all racial backgrounds. Also, do you think the reason Colorado gets so much hate is because people dont wont Deion to succeed and coukd it be be ause he brings culture to (black) to Colorado.
God bless, continued success. Carlos Crockett, Houma. Louisiana.
