Highly recommend buying your lumber at a local lumber store, not on a big box store. You're over paying alot for your materials, plus you help your local economy and neighbors
We agree! We did that for our deck build over the summer. When we are just buying a board or two we tend to buy from the big box stores for convenience as we are there for other materials as well
Great job new sub here, first things first grab a saw and make that hole to the attic bigger, not worth struggling like that specially with as much renovation you’re doing.

Our 100 year old farm house had wood shaving insulation (hamster bedding) in the walls. My husband bagged it all up and used it for pig bedding 😂

Highly recommend buying your lumber at a local lumber store, not on a big box store. You're over paying alot for your materials, plus you help your local economy and neighbors
We agree! We did that for our deck build over the summer. When we are just buying a board or two we tend to buy from the big box stores for convenience as we are there for other materials as well
