I’m surprised that no one has brought up that penacony could be a play on words with the term penal colony which are colonies that are exclusively meant to exile prisoners. Penacony->Penal Colony
I'm surprised no one brings up the map being shaped like a tarot card.
That's because hoyo already revealed about the origin of the word penacony in their promo vid for penacony which was very informative and funny. The video was made by the company's employees in a very interesting way. But other RUclipsrs may have made a vid about it. You can try searching it up
The spinning disk in the reverie also translates to PENALCONY which is Penal Colony. The other 2 small words are FREELAXD and DREAMLAXD, I wonder what this means?
Wait, if the events of the dream bubble are insinuated to be the same as the time Aha set the train on fire...
...does that mean that Aha was a nameless? Because in the dream bubble our PoV says we're the worst nameless in history only for Pom Pom to say "no you're not, the one who blew the train in half is!".
Aha disguised as one for over a year before blowing up the train.
Short answer: No he isn't.
One thing about Aventurine's god, Gaiathra Triclops, is that she may have actually been Ena the Order and the Avgins just didn't know anything about the Aeons. It was stated during the story that the Avgins just didn't follow the Aeon ideology like most of the cosmos.
Now, why do I say she was Ena the Order? Because in the artwork we have for Ena, *_there's an eye that looks like Aventurine's._*
This makes Aventurine's conflict with Sunday even more interesting because if Gaiathra really was Ena, then that means Sunday's god, Xipe, eliminated Aventurine's god through assimilation.
I'd argue it's the opposite, with them following Xipe while Sunday follows the order, since the phrase Aventurine mentions "thrice" when referring to his god, and the only known aeon with 3 of anything would be Xipe, with 3 faces (there was more to this but I don't have the patience but it seems pretty plausible, more than the Acheron follows Finality theory)
@@fuckingtiredloll The thing is, Aventurine and his family say Gaiathra has three *_eyes,_* not faces, hence Gaiathra Triclops (y'know, like cyclops, but with three eyes instead of one). Xipe has six eyes because they have three faces, and I think Sunday even mentioned three faces at one point, but I could be wrong. The art we have for Ena the Order has a giant third eye floating next to them.
I think the "get em boys" is a confirmed misstranslation that was actually supposed to be "get *her* boys" meaning the NPC's were supposed to only refer to Acheron.
Don't know if it was patched yet.
Misha gota be the watch maker.
The Watchmaker was name dropped by Gallagher outside of the Showstage. His name is Mikhail or something of the sort. They two are likely related but I wouldn't put money on them being the same person.
@@XgoSolo i agree; apparently in the korean dub misha refers to mikhail as "grandfather" rather than mikhail's own name.
Gallagher can see misha because of his voice line about misha but why can he see him

Great video. I was under impression that Ena is simply dissolved and no changes to Xipe. The broader path becoming even broader didn't cross my mind because I thought Xipe as individual with her own nature.
or aventerine is SCP 181.
One think that i find interesting is that, from what i understand, the masked fools each have different meanings of elation yet their are still on that path, even tho their definition of elation can be different from aha.
Like someone definition would be to make other laugh and feel good, while aha would be to blow a train and a baby falling in his head.
But when aventurine talk to sprakle she says that he needs to know what aha wants, but if other elation followers have different definition of aha elation.
Does that mean that sparkle specifically follows aha elation, so what we see her do in the story would be an aha on a smaller scale?
This makes me wonder is she has plans of becoming an emanator since they are the judges of aeons and closes to them...........i think i am might be talking nonsense but we know nothing about sparkle and i want more so i guess i am pulling my hair out of my head for more😅

but i just stumbled upon something that hints Misha is real, at least the gallagher voiceline about him proves it. but if i am mistaken about something then would love to be corrected, i would advise to listen to more voicelines in character details for some nice lore that you might miss⭕
The one issue I have with Misha being completely invisible, is why would Clockie be so worried about his safety against the Bloodhounds otherwise? And bare in mind, Clockie also can't be detected by most. Misha is definitely the most mysterious character in Penacony and has a lot hinting at him, so I'm waiting to see what's up with him.
I had the same thought. Only thing I can think of is some “Guard the citizens or we’ll put you in the brazen bull” type situation.

Quick question(contain spoilers):
How does the Dreamscape worrks? There a safety net that keeps people from " you die in dream you die in real life" then why rushing to aventurine was a priority for the astral express. In fact aventurine really pulled a deus ex machina. The following have to happened in order for he to succced: the astral express have to have Acheron on their side, have to be in the Dreamscape, Sunday mustn't for some reason not come and kill Aventurine right then and there, the cornerstone somehow worked in the Dreamscape ( and even it worked why he doesn't kill himself with it, he's already dying because of Sunday), Acheron somehow doesn't kill him( the only thing he knew about her was thay she KILLED duke inferno) and Acheron somehow sensed Aventurine to be dangerous despite the fact that he just destroying the Dreamscape( no evidence that people could die from Aventurine attack) worst case the Dreamscape have a 2 day maintenance from Aventurine attacks. So when you really think about it there were no stake for any one of them to even does what they did
So. In the Black Swan companion quest it’s revealed that being offed in penacony results in an awakening in the real world.
This is in reference to Sparkle bashing someone over the head with a hammer. As you do.
At most, punishment for death in Penacony is Mental scaring.
The sole exception to this rule is Gallagher or The Meme, which upon stabbing someone invokes a spiritual death as explained by Sunday during the 2.0 final cutscene between him and Robin/Sparkle.
Spiritual Death is likely a reference to Spiritual health. A concept that describes gratification in one’s accomplishments in life. Or. Simply put. An offset of what we as humans refer to as death.
My leading theory is that death via the Meme isn’t permanent, but has the potential to be. It puts people in a strange world that can end unfavorably for them.
By the end of it all, I imagine the only body we’ll be counting is Sunday’s. If. Anyone at all.
@@XgoSolo that not really my question? How does the Dreamscape works? It's a physical place? It's a spiritual place? A simulation? There a quest that said the Dreamscape is a mixture of both spiritual and simulation due to the fact they FIND the Dreamscape first then have a team to EDIT it. Everyone bring their WEAPONS into the DREAMscape and use them like in a PHYSICAL place( Himeko blasted her canon, Welt created miniature black holes, Acheron bring a fecking sword, MC just pull out their spear out of thin air like they summoned against Cocolia, Aventurine bring a stone). If the DREAMscape is a spiritual-simulation then why and how they have their weapons, what the urgency of defeating Aventurine? Why Acheron want to end him? Just let the Astral Express have a headache waking up from Aventurine attacks and it's done. She CHOSE to do it despite there were no stakes involved
@@The_real_John3879 well, maybe there was, idk, what id destroying penacony withe everyone in it puts everyone in a coma.....that's some stakes, but I have no idea how that place works.
Uhh... Aventurine is THE gambler. He puts everything on the table, no matter the chances. You said he pulled a "deus ex machinima", but that willingness to aim for the implausible is literally his charachter.
And to my memory, it was pretty clearly stated that Acheron knew what Aventurine was going for when she decided to slash him.

Don't use "he's lucky", that's lazy and rendered Aventurine as a useless character, having to rely on "luck" to save his ass
