Genshin is more of a cash grab then WuWa
WuWa is fuckin nuts, like what the fuck is kuro on, Did they just read the entire bible or what, they won't stop giving compensation on the silliest and insignificant things. Do they want money or nah? 😭
So there is not much different let see why . Kuro giving compensation is really good but if u think if they don't give us compensation with the standard pull then u will only get 11 pull every 40 days . Where genshin u can get it from character lvl up. Others 35 pulls for limited banner as compensation. Most of the games give u that much reward when it release. But if u look at the event it's the same 460 astroid and 360 astroid 2 events and one 30 days event give u 600 astroid. If they just keep up giving 10 limited banner pull and 20 standard banner pull every patch.then it's going to be 20 percent better than genshin and 10 percent better than other gacha. As of now I really hope they do that because most f2p players came in wuwa because of free pulls and now they addict to combat like me.

Listen as much as Genshin is stingy and all, the only reason Wuwa devs have given out so many free pulls (and most of those pulls being standard pulls) is because of the disaster that way the launch. So many bugs, glitches, lack of optimisation on mobile for a game that's marketted as a mobile game and doxxing the JP players. It's damage control. They had to be generous or risk losing a huge amount of players especially with Genshin's Natlan preview + Furina/Clorinde/Firefly banners and ZZZ release. You're coping if you think they'll ever give out anywhere near as many pulls in the upcoming versions.

Its crazy cuz he was yapping so hard. He has a few points that can make sense however Most of what he was saying was just his own preference or opinion. He was nitpicking so hard. This is coming from someone who played Genshin and spent hundreds of dollars of it since release...

Hoyo’s practices as a company bother me.
Their negligence towards community issues, and their core audience defending that negligence, causes me a lot of frustration as a content creator and figure in the Gacha community.
While I play and occasionally enjoy their games, I’ll still shit talk them when they screw up.

@XgoSolo personally, it still baffles me that they didn't have any consequences for 2 situations :
1 - the absolute lack of security at the launch of the game to the point people could bruteforce your account just by getting your UID.
Not even a 2FA in 2020, ffs!!!
People didn't dare to go coop for a long time because of this and everyone was scared of losing their account all the time.
2 - Dehya : I don't think I really need to say anything here except that in their livestream for the 3.5 version, they were saying that she was good and good with reactions while litteraly showing that her E was clunky af and that she couldn't even kill a hydroslime with a Q 😂
Like, isn't it false advertising?
3- Favoritism and Blacklisting of content creators and community. People there are only heard when they say something positive and shunned it they have a concern, legitimate or not. Also Hoyoverse putting every QoL they can on Starrail, but not on Genshin. Those Genshin players are legit labrats for abuse, to test how much kindness they need to show to maximize profits.
Look how much genshin stans are mentally suffering because of those 3 fates 😂

@thatalbeeguy @thatalbeeguy I watched the video and while he has some points I agree with, most of it was just nitpicking,camera angles in one of the examples he used he didnt know who was talking but the camera was literally pointed at the person talking and you could hear her voice and see her mouth move,character body language is one of the worst since the example he used proves him wrong lol,the skin exposed was dumb,the time change not being a clock was a nitpick,the first region being Chinese culture was weird nitpick since the region gacha games target is cn so that's a weird complaint, and there are more but I need to watch the video again to remember.

Wuthering waves did improve on the bp. Remember having to do 100 local specialties for the weekly even they realized how awful that was. Wuwa also only asks for 5 tacit fields (artifact domains) instead of 20 lay lines which almost nobody does
I don't get why the game being "similar to Genshin" is considered a problem. In any case, it makes it easier to get into it, especially if your first introduction to the gacha genre is Genshin. Most of the guy's arguments feel mostly subjective, especially with the "skip button" segment. For someone who doesn't care for the story, they should be allowed to skip it. Of course if you insist on not skipping the story it should be for the main quests only and add skip button for things like side quests (looking at you aranara quest)

Ntm how people go from "similar to genshin" to "straight genshin clone and everything is ripped". And ignore the many differences the game has and places where they did "take something from genshin" and made it better.
Genshin's core gameplay loop is actually really good anyway so why would they change that? The problem with Genshin was minute to minute gameplay, lack of meaningful content and lack of QoL it's why they didn't copy those things
I dont care who copied who. It’s not like genshin is an entirely original game concept-wise. Yes, wuwa is a genshin clone. but i don’t mind that all. What matters to me is who is doing it better. and WuWa is doing it better. so my money goes to the one doing it better, and not to a complacent game thinking they’re invincible.
I was so furious when I first saw that kukki vid. I've been week one genshin player and I have spend there almost 1.5 years of daily activities, I've been participating in all the meta related debate of the game (God, I have even gathered all my friends form all other gacha games that started Genshin with me and we had DAILY discussions of the game when it launched). I would spent literally hours in the game, so much I loved it. If you ask me, I could probably write an entire essay of how Genshin was developed and did every wrong decision along the path with the proper reasoning and comparisons. I've probably been following every content creator on the game on the platform - damn, when I started WuWa all the same guys I remember with like 10k emerged in my feed. So probably I am a person that would never dismiss the advantages of Genshin.
But I was literally furious when I first saw kukki video by the stupidity if his arguments. I get that he tries to farm the audience in drama (I ll leave it to you whether that is acceptable in the platform or not), but he did not even try to make it look sane. Out of all problems WuWa has, he choise the literal parts it had done the best. And overreacted on them like it was some kind of forbidden moral act performed publically, or if WuWa has done something to him personally, I have lost it when he started literally jumping and shouting of the lack of mouse scroll in the dialog (dude, who cares, moreover you can do that with you keyboard as well as selecting dialog options - when I left Genshin it was not yet present there)
When you said in the final of the video, that you probably was too harsh - you weren't. Thanks for the debunk of this atrocity, because I felt like the platform and content creation has died with the content like that video, if it would have been accepted silently.
I really want someone to see his livestream to see if he is genuine about his takes or just farming drama. When i 1st saw him, he gave me a twitter freak vibes that he hates any game that overrated, he wont even watch trailer, he wont watch any video mention the game, and he will still hate the game when he play it.
But if i think again about this guy, this guy almost never really popular among WuWa CC eventhough they react to him 🤣 it will be soooo bad if he just farm drama but fail to make himself famous since i havent heard about him again from the mouth of any CC or he ever invited to talkshow.

Or at the very least even the ratio because its really noticable especially in the story. We see a male character like once every 30 minutes at best. Jiyan really carried at the end.
Arlecchino is proof you can make a popular character that tons of people are down bad for without having to show skin.
And this is a hot take, but no one would care for Taoqi if she didn't have the huge honkers. Mediocre design, one of the weakest characters of the game. Whenever someone brings her up, 90% of the time it's about her chest.
@@cryophoenix6114 well, maybe except me. Yes, Taoqi is weak and her design with 2 big personalities really capture other ppl but for me, it's her mechanic that I also like.
You build up her forte and use it to counter the enemies, slow hit but impactful remind me of many different games, maybe they could improve her ult animation but since she's a purple resonator so it's understandable.
@@cryophoenix6114 honestly I might be biased since I use taoqi as a sub dps/tanker but she's one of the few (and I mean FEW) unique defense Scaling characters, what does this mean? This means that you can run a 43311 on her and that useless DEF substat is now actually your second source of damage, I have her at Sequence 2 and it's really good, lots of shield, good havoc buffer for rover, I think she's underrated in a way that everyone mentions her for the wrong reasons, her appearance one thing, but they always put her in F tier or D tier cause "she's not a main dps! She can't do alot of damage" man it just feels like you're either calcharo level dps, verina level support or you're disregarded as "lower priority"
When it comes to the character design, that is highly subjective.
I personally am not a fan of this game's focus on sex appeal when designing most female characters. I would much rather prefer designs that are cute or beautiful.
And before any of you say this, I know that "sex sells," but that statement is used to justify laziness in character design.
Furina is one of, if not the best designed female characters in any gatcha game and is designed to be beautiful without being sexy.
There is nothing wrong with designing "sexy" characters. However, finding a balance of multiple looks and design groups would do a much better job at attracting new players.

I kinda get why some people would agree to this guy, but what i didn't like is the constant mention of "genshin impact".
Genshin this, genshin that and i get it, it's the biggest competitor in it's genre so the resemblance and constant comparison will always be there. But in this dude's case, he isn't giving WuWa the benefit of the game's own identity. He just played the game to find whatever negative he can then have the comparison to point out. He's pointing out things like the side scrolling of changing time, but if it's just a clock(like genshin) for sure he'll point out it's resemblance as well. There's no room for this dude.

I love WuWa because most of the Gacha Games have little to no Combat, The level of Combat in WuWa makes you engaged and Even a less invested so called trash character in tier list, can clear most of the Conetent in WuWa. Whereas, in Genshin its more dependent on team Comps, their Stats and Especially high investment for the Characters who are not currently in the meta plus less combat focused gameplay. I played HSR, its feels quite Dry. Turn based games maybe a thing in gacha games but such games are like you are collecting characters bc you wont feel full satisfaction as you wont have full control over ur characters. I played Moba, FPS n Adventure games. So, being WuWa having some qualities of those genres it's a Win for me.
The point about the story dumping is a it more valid In Wuwa tbh. The starting part almoat made me give up on the game because it was a bit too much too quickly. I didnt have that problem is hsr or Genshin.
Still think Wuwa is an amazing game but I also think that maybe the need to update the starting quests a little to make it a bit more digestible.

The "technical jargon" problem in HSR is ESPECIALLY egregious in the Loufu. They made up so much random fkin terminology that it was hard as fk to keep up with the story. And most of that terminilogy is also never used after you leave to penacony.
Yep while here they both give you a chance to ask for clarification and they immediately follow up they’re technical jargon with an example of what their talking about
and HRS, one year in, still in the darn PRELUDE. I ain't gonna stick around that game for a decade to see where tf the story is going.
I low-key quit the game because the story in the beginning was just words for me, like my brain went in every other direction and was confused for the majority of time. From the story recaps on RUclips makes it seems like the story isn't half bad, plus most of the characters are pretty with flashy animations and that makes my brain go "WOOWZA" so ill give them that.

And if I absolutely had to nitpick things about the game, it'd be that the music is lackluster and the characters were HEAVILY underutilized in the story. Electric M'lady dude literally shows up at the end for the final fight and I had never seen him before in my life lmao. Sleepy tits is literally all I know about her from the story. Eye lady scanned us with her eye, gave us a scavenger hunt, stalked us a little, and helped capture Scar. Doctors 1 and 2 just run some tests on us and then disappear until the end except for the odd voicemail from mainly Mortefi. Verina gives us flower fun facts and makes a flower to lure out the people who are actually interesting and given enough screen time to get to know them. I could nitpick damn near anything about this game...but it's still fun so lol

I like kukki from his in-depth arknights videos I felt really irked watching this video about wuwa because most his points are about the cinematography of wuwa as if genshin didnt do as bad during its launch. Its like most creators criticizing wuwa just forgot how genshin was badly compared with Breath of the wild to the point it was called a rip off and the fact that wuwa WAS JUST RELEASED.

Why is it so impossible for some people to understand we can actually like multiple games at the same time?
There are some things I like more about HSR than in GI and WuWa has its own great things too.
The only negative thing in multiple interesting games is time, especially the lack of. (And if you spend on gacha, then also money.)
At this point, it will be nitpicking.
Idk how kuro games does it but iam much more interested in building my 4 stars rather then 5 stars. Their gameplay is much more fun, engaging, and much more challenging that it fits so much to my taste.
Man, Kukki should've really just stuck with only Arknights stuff...I dunno what in the flying frick was going through his head to think that he's in a good position to give such a weird take on WuWa, when he doesn't even play Genshin that much.
Honestly it feels like just him using the WuWa hype and fishing for views at this point, and it's sad to see how hard he's fallen off as a CC in general. During the first years of Arknights he was a pretty good CC for the game, but he fell off after having some questionable takes about the game (in a nutshell, he wanted to convince everyone that using guides to clear stages in Arknights is the wrong way to play the game, but he seems to forget people can enjoy the game when following guides too.) and his video output got significantly slower after that.
In this past year he's just been like this with weird takes after weird takes and it's just so unfortunate to see how much of a mess it's become at this point.
I get wuwa vs genshin is a easy bait for the views but he should have at least played the game without any biases and give it a fair chance. It seems like he already went in with the “genshin ripoff” mindset and found everything he could nitpick + playing only 10 hours while hes yapping half of his stream…

Not really a sub but i used to watch kukkikaze for a while in my Arknights era. Why tf is this guy commenting on Wuwa when he already hated Genshin??? Bro actually shit on genshin so much back in the day coz hurr durr it takes so much time for him everyday. Meanwhile his main game, Arknights, used to occupy devices for easily 30 mins while doing dailies. Idk how it is in AK rn but this guy is a premier yapper and so is his entire community when it comes to preaching AK and its greatness and dissing any other game that uses more mobility skills other than tapping fingers on the screen.

i think wuwa is a better game in every way (for me personally). The story, world building, graphics. It doesn't exactly cater to children as much, but yeah, i do agree that the fan servicing for the mommy's basement dwellers in this game is a bit too much. The objectifying and oversexualizing is kinda not doing it for me, but otherwise, it's a great game and has completely ruined my view of genshin atp.

I like that WuWa is so similar to Genshin, the sense of familiarity is nice. I also like that their gacha isn't as predatory as Genshin.

Genshin started being very boring because of the dumb quests... Just dialogue... This game has way more to offer and is a thousand times more enjoyable, especially because of the game mechanics, also the story is so interesting, and is much easier to get good characters.

Genshin in 2020 was better than Wuthering waves, but now there is literally way too much useless content and so much more to come. Too many regions, missions, characters, weapons, artifacts, it’s just too much now. But that’s a very personal opinion
Yes WuWa copied Genshin. And I’m totally ok with that. Wuwa imitated genshin and made it a hundred times better. what matters to me who does it better. And wuwa is the game that does it better. a barely month old game being better than a 4-year-old game says a lot about the two companies that created them. Imagine WuWa 4 years from now. A 4-year-old Genshin would be eating dust.
The competition that WuWa introduced to Genshin finally made genshin devs increase resin and make a new Abyss. Gone are the complacent days of Genshin. They gotta move their as*es now. Thanks to WuWa, Genshin is finally improving, i think. Genshin is still slow in my opinion. But competition between these 2 games is a win-win for players.
Right now, i say WuWa is the superior game. Genshin can be that game, but man, still no saveable artifact custom loadouts in 4 years? That’s kinda lousy for a game of 4 years.
Sorry for the long rant, but...
If there is one thing i could agree to Kukkikaze, is that yes, the story is hard to digest, some of the jargons of the stories inside WuWa are actually hard to known on what it should be in context, hence the narrative grasp of the story is not going to be easy for most players to get into, not to mention the pacing itself is already bad as is...

But that whole problem is a problem for only a couple parts of the beginning of the game, and they're fixed later on quite quickly too. Honestly, PGR also suffers for this as well, but luckly for WuWa players, they don't have to suffer for long on this part. It's mostly about the narrative grasp for PGR but not in terms of jargon, though you gotta endure that not so interesting stories for more than 5 to 9 chapters (i've read all of it from the very beginning tho, so this one's mostly from other people's prespective).
Your comparison to HSR's also not really helping against his bad take either, cause at least HSR's early story jargon is not really that hard to digest since most of them are not really jargons. And to some that are indeed jargons, is actually easy to digest cause the wordings are something that almost everyone might be familiar with, e.g. The Astral Express Crew could point out about something related to peoples that are a crew on a train cause they're called the "Express Crew", and the "Astral" part? Well, they're in space aren't they?
The rest of Kukkikaze's take tho? Nitpicky bulls**t, to the point that i can't even take to hear it at times...
He doesn't even play Genshin (or at least seems to be a main player of one), he played Arknights, a game that's supposed to be startegy game where you gotta rack your brain up to eleven (fr that s**t's hard to play if you didn't really have a lot inside that noggin to begin with, cause i sure don't 😅...)

It's because WuWa and Genshin story delivery is kinda different.
In genshin you didn't knew a thing and traveler learn it by himself, experience and see it first hand as he progress and gaining name for himself, and it make sense because you see nonsensical thing first hand...

The templates of those outfits are just regular lingerie with some minor changes, like super opaque stockings or random straps. Then there's are Raiden and Lisa alt outfit that show rather clearly the panties without even forcing the camera. Seeing a woman up close wearing those garments might help, but also Google exist. now, seeing your other comments is clear that you're riding some hoyo meat, so be a nice and go touch some grass.
