@@Chillythesilly I know that basic scaling rule, that's not the problem in question, are you aware of what consistency, context and outliers are? spider-man has no weakness but when he get serious he is like the serperior spider-man variant spider-sense is basically ultra instinct if he really focus and stop pulling out his punches
But like Spider-Man is way smarter than Batman, they both have gadgets out the wazoo and if both of them get time to prepare both would come stacked with their best suits/tools, so that throws out nerve gas, fear toxin and dont even think of freezing or landing a shot on Spider-Man with a Batarang, Punching Peter is like Hitting a concrete wall for most people and if he didnt roll with the punches then people would just break their hands on him. Spider-Man most definetly outclasses him in both movement speed, reaction speed and Durability, they both predict the enemies movements but one of them does it with some effort while the other can just let the Sense guide him, Spider-Man would on the spot mid fight make up a plan if all else fails because he is just that much smarter, that 40-60 iq difference is a life saver in most occasions in favor of Spider-Man. @@Chillythesillyrespectfully man, please just stop. Batman… is a guy. if he takes punches that Peter can’t, it’s just because the writers said so, not for any realistic reason, considering Spider-Man has superhuman durability and a healing factor. Spider-Man suffers from what i call the “Speedster Problem.” his power set is so incredibly overpowered that he needs to be nerfed in every story he’s in or their wouldn’t be a story. the guys perceives all danger before it happens, aka, precognition, and has the speed to dodge whatever it is. he can punch super human jaws off *on* *accident*. not to mention his physiology has been changed so he just can be a better and faster acrobat than even Dick Grayson, the best acrobat in the DC Universe, considering Grayson is once again, a regular guy. all that aside, i feel like you don’t understand Batman as a character at all. you want him to win, to be the best at everything, all the time. you jump through the biggest hoops to make him the fastest, strongest, and smartest among fucking gods. that’s not what he stands for. he represents the understanding that even weak little humans can make a change in the world with the right brains and courage. you want to make him Superman, when that’s not what he’s supposed to be. he’s proof that these superheros aren’t brave, men are brave. at the end of the day, Bruce isn’t capable of stopping Barry from blitzing him and punching his entire head into a black hole, he’s not capable of stopping Clark from giving him an instant lobotomy from a mile away, he’s not capable of beating a man who could literally just see what’s about to happen to him, dodge it in less than a blink of an eye, and punch his entire jaw off before you could say “Friendly Neighborhood So and So.” end of story, as simple as that.
You speak the truth. The problem is that Batman does not have a healing factor. He's human so if he was to be hit by somebody as powerful as Spider-Man whether he held his punches back or not he could be severely hurt. There's no way that Spider-Man would ever even be able to be hit by someone on a caliber of a Batman. Being a comic book nerd I do like watching these things from time to time but the problem is that it comes down to a popularity contest or prep time for Batman as if he's the only one that if he had prep time could win a fight. I just can't stand the qualifiers every time somebody talks about Batman
except Spider-man is way smarter than Batman, and could on the spot think of plans to beat him if just his strenght speed and webs arent enough.
