Youse guys are what it means to be Italian! Moving to the west coast from NYC..missing the seafood and of. Course your Zeppole were a big hit. Love my Italian roots
Last time I was on Cross Bay Blvd was about 4 years ago for a wedding at Russo's... Or at least I'm told 🤣😂 These look great! Making me anxious for Christmas Eve!
@@BrooklynBrothersCookingit is! I lived in Howard Beach part time for a couple years, loved Lenny’s! Great bolognese there too in addition to their seafood
Baked Stuffed Clams were so popular when I was a kid back in the early 70's growing up in Hoboken N.J. ... we could always find big aluminum foil sheet pans full of them ready to bake at the big Shoprite supermarket in Jersey City . Next to Steamers with melted butter and garlic ....Baked Stuffed Clams is my second favorite way to eat clams .. truly delicious and thanks for bringing back great recipes from a better time
Wow, that recipe rocks 🤘🏻 My Mom used to make these back in the early 70s and she got me hooked on Seafood and Tabasco sauce. Lemon is a must have as well. ❤
yummy may god bless your channel as well as you two i havent seen clams in a can like that in my stores, Although I live in california and Ive never even seen clams on half shell here.Do clams not reside on the west coast ? lmao
Wow what memories of PizzaCity on Crossbay! On Friday nights my father would rush home from work my sister and I would be in our PJs we would go to Pizza City have a Sicilian pie in the car then we would drive over to the Sunrise drive in and finish the pie some baked clams fried calamari and before the movie went on we were asleep…..lol…..
I worked at Pizza City before we moved to TX in 79. I worked in the kitchen and made pizza there. The Sicilian pizzas were made on a full sheet pan. Memories
Thank you so much guys. I’m a former New Yorker. I’ve been craving these for sometime since I’m here in Fort Myers now. Was wondering where I can go to have some. And I thought if I can just know how to make them myself will be better. Just what I’m gonna be making later in the week. Thanks again.❤
You guys are THE BEST! Thanks for making this video just in time for the holidays and for the tips for opening the clams.. Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year to all of you 🎄🎅
That looks awesome guys! In the words of Wil Rogers, I never met a shellfish I didn't love. Well maybe he really didn't say that. I do cringe when I see you using a sharp knife instead of a clam knife but I don't see any scars so I guess you're okay. Lol! Cheers!
Hi guys, I noticed that when you sit down to eat that you don't have anything to drink with your meal. Is that a Italian thing or what? I'm just curious. Thank You Larry

I now see what I did wrong. I steam the clams and use the juice but my breadcrumbs were dry. Thanks for the method and explanation.

Merry Christmas Papa P & Chef Dom and family. 🎅🏻🎄🥂 Love baked clams. what brand of canned clams did you use?
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well! The brand is SeaWatch. We got them from Restaurant Depot.

It is dangerous to use a sharp knife to open a Clams. I could not find a clam knife around here.
Thank you so much
One thing I noticed what did you do with clams that were in shell
We left them in the shell and the breaded them
@@BrooklynBrothersCooking yes I seen that after o watched video again
Great video guys!!! Loved it! But how long did you bake it for and what type of wine did you use?
Thanks! Pre heat oven to 450 degrees F and bake for 20-25 minutes.
In Rhode Island they're called stuffies. Made a little differently, but almost the same.
Hi Uncle Junior ❤
Hi sweetie
Where did you all pick up those fresh clams?

Good observation. We just don’t want to clutter the table for the shot.
Ann Burrell o clams oregana
Brooklyn Brothers have a new video….everything must pause so I can watch it!
You guys are Italian right
Yes, our family is from Napoli
You mean crossbay Blvd Howard beach ya baby!! It’s gone now
It’s been awhile since I was in that area.
By the way your clams were a hit!!!
That’s great! Thanks for letting us know!
Thank you
Is New park pizza still there
Instead of shucking claims, why don't you just steam them a little! Seems easier and more efficient!
🤔
The clams are called Quahogs!
Cherrystone clams
Why take so much trouble to open the clamps. Just put them in boiling water or keep them in the freezer for few minutes they will open up
O Dio Mio! Why not use a clam knife? If beginners try this with a paring knife blood will spill !!!
Couldn’t find the clam knife
@@BrooklynBrothersCooking 🤣 love you guys!
Who gets the real clams and who gets the caned clams with chop bread????????
🤔
Stopped watch at the canned clams
How long are you guys living down in Texas?
Bet not too many Italians there
We’ve been in Texas for over 30 years. Not very many Italians here.
