Debby congrats on your 200subscribers🎉🎉 so sorry about that, but trust me she will bring it up again if she happens to teach you again, so politely tell her to stop as it's not part of the lecture.. stand up to dem cos if you don't even your classmates will continually look down on you✌️

      Thanks Aunty 😊
Facts…honestly I didn’t see the need to exchange words with her because everything she said was true but then again I didn’t expect her to say it infront of the whole class. Good thing is there won’t be a next time 😅😅

I believe one other reason for Nigeria's negative global perception is that many Nigerians tend to speak bad about their own country, often neglecting our positive aspects. This self-criticism is quite prevalent, and as a result, it shapes how foreigners view us Nigerians.
While it's true that Nigeria faces many challenges, the widespread negative self-portrayal contributes to creating bad PR for the nation. We don play major role in making this negative image. Imagine some people say we live in a zoo, so what does that make its inhabitants

Your lecturer is a bully that wanted to pull you down girl. Nigeria may have its problems just like any other country but it's your home and its beautiful.❤❤

Yeah…you stated a lot of factual reality we Nigerians face here in the western world. We endure all of their bad mouth and they are the ones stealing from us. Me I give them back to back ooo. If I was in your class that lecturer wouldn’t have escaped me.
    It’s all good sha.
    Nice video darling

My dear, you said it all! In as much as I wanted to talk back….most of the things said were true, sadly. Hoping for a better Nigeria 🙏🏽

@@Debby_Diaryyour answer here made me respect you a lot. As a German we perpetually criticize everything in our country. But it is a sign of bad behaviour to do that to people/students of a different country. And usually not necessary either, because these people already made up their mind to leave their country and family. No need to lecture them. And even less in front of a complete class.

Same here in Egypt, Egypt used to be the most powerful African countries financially and in terms of military power but now it's way worse. We talk all the time in schools and universities about how we are not using our resources correctly and how our corrupt leaders over the years wasted our potential and took people's tears and sweat for granted but the difference is that we are not offended whenever this is brought up. Perhaps Nigerians are more patriotic unlike Egyptians which are severely copying the modern west where people don't appreciate the leaders or the country for just being born in it or maybe it sounds offensive if this subject is brought up by a foreigner

Yh, to be honest people’s reactions vary. My only concern was how she diverted and said it in front of the entire class.

It has happened to me several times living in a foreign country and this happens everywhere in the world to Nigerians. Thats why it annoys me when Nigerians in the diaspora hail these countries.

Sorry for your experience. If you know at the mention of your country, you get rejected, avoid always being proud of saying it except asked. Just stay cool n go abt your business. Because with all patriotism we have for Nigeria still the politicians and the population has made it unbearable.

Try to get money and come back help your people. we have to come back and help our people and remove the bad governance. but get money first my sister. Good luck.

While it's essential to empower ourselves financially, we must also recognize that merely obtaining money won't be enough to bring about meaningful change in Nigeria. To truly make a difference, we should focus on using our resources wisely, addressing governance issues, and supporting initiatives that benefit our people. It's a combination of financial empowerment and responsible action that can lead to positive change in our nation.

I feel like you should have spoken back or spoken up for your country regardless of the fact that she was saying facts. I live in America and things like this come up a lot and I always speak up and most of them just become mute. Anyways congrats on 200
