- Hi guys! Welcome back to Debby’s Diary,
In today’s video, spend the day with me as an International student in Germany. I had lectures for hours and did a presentation on behalf of my group members (who are mostly Indians studying in Germany).
During my break period, I did a bit of studying and I was able to go grocery shopping at a Turkish supermarket in Germany and when I got home, I prepared a really nice dish for myself after having a hectic day.
I was so excited shooting this video and even more excited editing the video. I hope you guys love it!

I have got an admission to BSBI and one guy saying BSBI scammed him. Debby is BSBI real. I have an admission for next year February. And did you have to add German language certificate?
@@thomasandoh9028 BSBI is real, this video shows it is and i also have several tour videos of the school. I wasn't scammed while applying so ensure you follow the right process.
German language certificate wasn't required for me.
@@Debby_DiaryThank you Debby. The Language certificate, that’s including the visa process as well

Hello Debby’s Diary,
I hope this message finds you well. I've been following your RUclips channel for some time now, and I find your content both informative and inspiring.
I recently applied for a master's program at BSBI in Germany and, following a call from the school, I've realized the need for additional financial support for my academics. I saw your videos about studying at BSBI, and I was wondering if there are scholarship opportunities you might be aware of. Your insights and experience would be invaluable.
If it's not too much trouble, I'd appreciate it if you could share your email address with me. I'd like to discuss this further and ask some specific questions about your time at BSBI.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Deborah Tetteh
Hello Deborah, I don’t know much about their scholarships, however you can check this link: www.berlinsbi.com/admissions/scholarship-application

hi, I would like to do my master as international student in Berlin too. Do you know if there are some scholarships?
I think you can check this site; www.daad.de/de/
between full time and part-time studies in Germany which one is better
Depends on your preference to be honest, with full-time you might not really get the chance to work but with part-time you can work and sometimes given the opportunity to intern in various companies so it really depends.
In my case, I do full-time and I was still able to intern in a company, this is because we don’t have lectures all week.
Hi Debby,
Please i was offered admission by BSBI, please i need an honest review on the school and id love to know if i need a blocked account too.
Thank you
Congratulations on your admission! 😊
My experience has been good so far, the curriculum and the way they lecture is different from what I’m used to. For example, we don’t write exams instead we do final exams to end a particular course.
Hi dear pls after making my deposit, i was told to wait for 3 to 5 business working days to get my UOL nd up till now I haven't hear from them o hmm. I don't really know what's happening o. Can u give me any clue plsss
Hello, responded already. Hope it helps.
Thanks for the video.
Can a student start working in Germany using the visa sticker on the passport? Or is it mandatory to first get the student resident permit before working?
Hello, I am not certain as I have a family reunion visa tied to a blue card. However, my classmates who have student visas currently work.
Good day Debby I applied for international health management in BSBI.pls can u give me a review about the school
Generally, it’s a great school with good curriculum. For my course (Global MBA) we are given the opportunity to specialize in our areas of expertise.
Lectures are thought in English depending on your preference…..well so far so good 😊
Hi
Pls did you write any German language exam like TestDaF? Pls where can I find a test center in Nigeria?
Hello, no I didn’t. I relocated to Germany through family union so it didn’t require proficiency in German.
For test centers, I don’t have anyone in mind at the moment but if I come across any I’ll send to you.
Does BSBI provide students with trips and internships?
For trips, that’s possible, though I’m not sure who sponsors them-it also depends on the course you're studying.
As for internships, they organize events where companies come to network with students. However, they don't provide internships directly but do offer some guidance to help students find opportunities.
hi.. is it worth it to study in bsbi? and after completing education from there, bsbi students get their jobs in their field or not
To be honest it’s worth it, you get exposed to new knowledge and experience. Also, if you’re very intentional about it, you can network create good connections with people.
In terms of getting a job, it’s 50/50. Some people get and others don’t but you just have to keep applying.
It’s easier if you’re very fluent in German especially if you’re not in the tech field.
Hi debby, please is there need for an English test in Germany if i have my waec and a letter from my university in Nigeria stating my courses were done in English. Thanks and keep up the good work
Hello Aderonke, thank you 😊
In my case i submitted my WAEC results and also did an English level test but my school still requested that I do an English assessment with one of their representatives. This was done online and the questions asked were very easy e.g Why BSBI? Why the course of study? Etc.
Hi Debbie, how long did it take you to get a visa appointment?
What is the name of the University that U go to?
BSBI
Hi Debby,
I would like to know if you have any contact for certification attestation at the ministry of foreign affairs in Nigeria. I look forward to your response.
Also, If anyone in the chat room has contacts, that'll be nice.
Hello Jacob, unfortunately I do not have any contact.
Hello I really really need help and confused with something related to this school is do you have Instagram that I can reach to you on in order to ask certain questions please?
Yes I do, you can check the description of my videos for it.
How can i reach out to u plss
I know Germany offers free tuition for master's courses in public universities. Which is better, public or private universities in Berlin?
It’s not entirely free, you might have to pay a semester fee which is about 300 euros (not certain of the exact amount).
Also, it really depends…..in my case it was easier to get an admission to a private university with lesser requirements. Public schools might take time before you get feedback from them and also they have a lot of requirements you have to meet before getting an admission e.g certain documents to submit and so on.
Another thing for me was the language, I’m thought in English.
Please recommend me cheap private university for masters degree with less requirements in Berlin or munich
Please advice ,i have 2 admissions for masters in germany, in berlin and bremen, private universities. Which place is the best ?,considering accommodation fees ,job opportunities
Congratulations on receiving admissions to two masters programs in Germany! Both Berlin and Bremen are wonderful cities with their unique charms and opportunities. To help you make an informed decision, I'll provide some insights into both options, considering accommodation fees and job opportunities.
Berlin is the capital city of Germany and is known for its vibrant and diverse culture. It offers numerous job opportunities, especially in the tech, startup, and creative industries. The city has a bustling job market and a wide range of international companies, which can increase your chances of finding part-time work or internships during your studies. However, since it's a major city, the cost of living and accommodation fees can be relatively higher compared to other places in Germany
Bremen, on the other hand, is a smaller city with a rich maritime history. While it may have a slightly limited job market compared to Berlin, it still provides opportunities, particularly in the aerospace, logistics, and engineering sectors. Bremen's cost of living and accommodation fees are generally more affordable compared to Berlin, making it a suitable choice for students on a budget.
Ultimately, the decision should align with your academic and career goals, as well as your personal preferences. Trust your instincts and choose the option that feels right for you. Whichever city you choose, pursuing a masters in Germany is an exciting opportunity, and I wish you all the best in your academic journey!
If you have any more questions or need further advice, feel free to ask. Good luck with your decision! 😊
@Debby_Diary thank you so much for your advices, I cannot wait to meet in germany 😍

Hi Debby! I am trying to apply for a masters in Germany, please are they accepting applications now? Also,do you have an Idea if you can travel with a dependent (a child)immediately? I am the primary caregiver. I'm worried about the visa date thing in Nigeria. I heard it can take a year to get a date. This scares me
Hello! Yes, in my school, you can start your application on their website depending on the course you want to study. I know of someone who got an admission for next year's intake.
Also, I think spouses, partners, and/or children may be permitted to reside in Germany while you study, provided certain conditions are met.
Yes, for the appointment dates, it really depends as some happen fast and some don't. However, I'm hoping you get yours as soon as you want it. Wishing you all the best! 😊
Thank you so much Debby. I appreciate. Please can I ask the name of your school? So I can check them out. The next intake is for February next year
Sure, the name is Berlin School of Business and Innovation
Please is your school Tution free?
Hi, wanted to ask, did you have a ridiculously long waiting time to get an appointment for visa. was told it was over a year
Yes its over a year
Mine was different as I got an admission after my relocation to Germany.
However, it’s possible it can take up to a year for your type of visa, some of my classmates had to join online classes while waiting for their visas.
@@Debby_Diarybut was the visa eventually approved?
@@regbenicks1999Yes, my family reunion visa was approved almost immediately.
How can i have aone on one chat with you
Feel free to send an email or chat me up on my IG page.
Hi i want to know if before applying you must have a proof of knowing German language?
Hello, that wasn’t a requirement for me as I am only thought in English.
Hi Debby,
Please i have a uncle in Germany. I 2ant to know the process in coming there through family reunion and then again, how long did it yake you to get an appointment from the german embassy in Nigeria
Thank you
Hello, Ensure that the family member in Germany has a valid residence permit (like a settlement permit, EU Blue Card, or residence permit for employment or study) and that they meet certain conditions, such as having adequate living space and financial stability to support the incoming family members.
Then gather required documents needed for your application like valid passport, application forms, etc.
However, I think German family reunion visas typically focus on more immediate family members such as spouses, children, and sometimes parents. You can check online to verify this.
For mine, I think we applied in December or January and got an appointment in February
Pls I need some guidance from you am a new intake but still in Nigeria processing my application requirements please I will be glad if you respond to this
Okay, my application process differed from the standard procedure as I was already a resident of Germany with a valid residence permit before pursuing my studies at BSBI. To secure admission, I submitted my school certificates and other necessary documents.
@@Debby_Diary okey thanks for your response ma God bless you
Hi sweetie
Please reply me ok
How did you secure your seat when you were offered admission .
Did you pay€ 2,000 euros .
