  • Hi guys, welcome back to my channel,
    1 year ago I embarked on a life-changing journey with my husband, and so glad to finally share our relocation experience with you.
    I have so much to say, so I decided to break this video into two parts.
    In part1, we shared our relocation/Japa story, tech jobs and interview experience as well as documents required from the German embassy and also interview questions.
    We also shared how we successfully relocated to Germany as a couple with my Family reunion visa tied to my husband's blue card within 2 months using the Fast tracking process.
    Please note that we are not immigration experts and are just sharing our experience for you to learn from and get encouraged. In the meantime, please feel free to drop your questions below.
    Hope you enjoy this video and see you in part II

      I think so, however there are conditions like you proving that your parents need special care from you to survive. Generally the visa is for mostly spouses and children. You can read more on this here- www.germany-visa.org/family-reunion-visa/

    Thank you for this video! New subbie here💃💃
    Please, I've done my family reunion interview for about two months now. My husband has a blue card and I'm really becoming apprehensive about the entire delay.
    What do you think can be responsible for that?

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Год назад +1

      Aww, I can imagine. In my case, I went through a fast-track process, which made things move faster than normal. My interview was in February, and I received a response in April.
      To be honest, you can't really predict the timeline for this; sometimes it takes fewer or more months due to the verification processes. The good thing is that you have completed your interview, so fingers crossed 🤞🏽😊.
      Hoping for a speedy response and wishing you the very best ❤️

    what is the wait time to get an appointment for a Blue card visa without fast track

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Месяц назад

      Without fast-track processing, the wait time for a Blue Card visa appointment can range from a few weeks to several months.
      Getting the appointment didn’t take that long, although the waiting period to get my kind of visa takes about 6 months, a year, or even less.

    • @Debby_Diary

      My husband got his job via LinkedIn. Here’s the link (www.linkedin.com). If you have an account on the platform, you can easily search for jobs and apply.
      The fast-track procedure can only be used in the following cases: skilled workers with academic or vocational training, higly qualified workers, researchers/scientists, managers, vocational training courses, measures to obtain recognition of foreign vocational qualifications.

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Год назад +1

      Glad you found it informative 😊
      Finding an English-speaking job varies; sometimes it’s fast to get, and other times you receive many 'Unfortunately.' In my opinion, it’s easier for most tech professionals because most of their roles don’t require proficiency in German.
      But it’s very possible to get an English-speaking job; you just have to send your resume to various companies.

    Please clarify. You did the court wedding and used the wedding certificate. What about the white wedding? Was it done?
    And it wasn’t a problem that you had the offer before having the marriage certificate?
    This is really informative, I appreciate you all.
    It’s actually better to do the fast track together than the other way round.

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Год назад

      Yes, we did our court wedding and submitted the marriage certificate issued by a government official of the federal marriage registry or local government registry. For our white wedding, the church only provided church marriage certificate which wasn't useful for our application. We also provided pictures of our court marriage using the federal marriage registry background.
      Glad you find this video informative, please let me know if you have more questions.

      @@Debby_Diary That’s wonderful.
      So assuming, there was only a court wedding without the white wedding by the time you went for the interview. It’s still okay I guess. The court wedding is the most important right?
      The remaining pictures from the white wedding etc are just supporting documents.
      This is really an eye opener.
      I went for a 16d Aufenthaltsgesetz interview(Visa for recognition of professional qualification) as a Doctor cause I need to take the final part of the medical council exams.
      The guy at the gate and my interviewer have never heard of it. Haha.
      It was so much headache. I ended up finishing second to the last that day because they needed clarifications.
      New laws are not quickly implemented at the Embassy here and they don’t stay up to date. Haha.

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Год назад +1

      @@dryusuf7246 It depends, some have their weddings in church and then get their Marriage certificates from there. It just depends on how you want to plan it.
      The Court wedding pictures were mandatory as they requested for it.
      I agree it's very possible people don't know much about new laws implemented. In our case, most people didn't really know about the fast-track process as it was new.

      If you have an appointment and now have a newborn who was not initially declared, I think you should contact the embassy immediately to explain the situation and provide the newborn's details.

      @Debby_Diary  Год назад +1

      I completely understand how you feel, and it's natural to experience some anxiety when waiting for a visa decision. It can be tough, but it's important to remember that the process can often take time due to various factors involved. Try to stay positive and remind yourself that you have done everything you can up to this point. Sometimes, delays occur due to administrative processes or a high volume of applications. Keep in mind that your application is being carefully reviewed, and the authorities are working diligently to reach a decision. Keep your spirits up, and I wish you the best of luck with your visa application.

    Hello good morning
    My husband is a blue card holder already residing in Germany. How do I navigate through the relocation process. Is there a room for pre approval too since the ZAV pre approval is given to someone who got a job from Nigeria. Would really appreciate your input or assistance

    • @Debby_Diary
      @Debby_Diary  Год назад

      Apologies for the delayed response, I have been offline for a while.
      In my case, I was able to do my pre approval with my husband and his company paid for both of us. Sometimes, the company might just pay for only the spouse and then the person pays the pre approval fee for his/her spouse.
      What really helped was that we both applied and relocated together so we were able to do a joint pre-approval.
      In your case, I’m not certain a pre-approval can be done with your spouse being there already, I have a friend that relocated after her husband and she got her visa approved within 4-6 months.
      I hope this helps 😊
