Excellent timing, I have been watching your tutorials over the last week and last night had a requirement to commence a go around but realised I had no clue how to.
Is there a way to make it automatic? Like another planes do, when you set the approach, it calculate the missed approach route, so it follows automatically
Which airway/waypoint you have to choose to go to the FIx Info page (you chose LEBL20) or does it matter? Also in which state of flight you recommend to enter that fix info for example if you have a quite short flight? Also do you have a video how to exit the hold and how to enter a new approach plan (not sure where exactly in flight plan to enter the airways/waypoints and do you have to clear some old ones so AP will follow the new plan)?
i have always struggled with go arounds< this is by far the best tutorial! quick question though. after the go around procedure, if you are flying offline how do you go back for a second approach? would you just program the approach into the mcdu like normal?
Thanks for the very informative video. It is my understanding that when going around the flap should be reduced one setting and then the gear raised. I see that you raised the gear first then reduced flap.
great video! so so interesting and useful. One question. Could you have flown with the VOR nav turned on after the missed approach, first to the JOA and then to CDP instead of manually setting the HDG? This is assuming that A32nx has the VOR to VOR nav? Like Garmin1000 has.
Thanks for watching! You can do so but doing it that way will take you straight to the VOR instead of following the missed approach procedure which is designed to keep you clear of terrain/aircraft etc.
@@RealSimPilotyes of course, I'm thinking like doing VOR course to JOA then when JOA is passed following the FROM radial, then turning 7.6NM after JOA to the TO radial to CDP VOR. I mean it's more complicated than just setting the HDG yourself, I was just curious if the A32nx has that capability?
It wasn't for the departure airport I just pressed the top left line select key(LSK1) to get to the fix page. The fix page is not specific to any airport.
So I'm flying the a32nx climbing towards cruise altitude and outta nowhere, the computer voice says that there's a conflict and that I need to watch my descent rate and to climb now. Whether I have the climb and descent managed or selected, it disconnects the autopilot and I have to quickly reenable autopilot and go on selected climb or descent at least every 5-10 minutes. If not, it'll shoot straight up or down wildly. Am I the only one going thru this?
@@hasuuuu It moved by himself, when I just spawned at airport my rudder was kot straight its right, I just want fly normal plane like a32nx but without these bugs
Well, it's been longer than 3 years since the game release and the FBW development start. It's a little bit shameful that this aircraft is not able yet to perform a missed approach automatically.
@@Pixx2266 yes, but, anyway, some missed approach procedures are very demanding. Even, I think some missed approach are RNAV, might be wrong. Anyway, I flew this aircraft a month ago, and it finally had the missed approach procedure

Thank you, very smart way to bypass the issues with the fbw!

Yes you can programme the ILS again and then vector yourself back to intercept the ILS using heading select.
@@RealSimPilot thanks, this helps a lot!

Well he did both of them at the same time so I don't think it matters that much
missed the one bit I was interested in which was how you then get back into the pattern😂
SAME, I'm looking for the answer everywhere, but cannot find it
I think ATC would vector you in so youd just reprogram the ILS approach and give yourself vectors (if you're offline)
Very helpful video! I had a go-around and I flew it like a circuit 😆😆
Excellent as always bro!
Hi Great Video
could i ask what program you use to record your flights i'm struggling to find a program compatible with the flybywire A230Neo
I use OBS but it only records what's on the screen.

@amol1608 yes you most definitely can do it in the A32nx
@@RealSimPilotawesome, thank you so much! cheers
How would you handle this if you didn't know you would miss your approach/didn't program it before hand?
You would never know if you're going to need to go around so it should always be planned just in case.
Thanks for your reply I'll have a look 👍
absolutely fantastic thanks
I see that you put the fixes in the departure airport in the MCDU at 3:27. Why and can you also put them in the arrival airport.
Thank you!

@@RealSimPilot Oh ok I just saw that you pressed on the the LEBL airport which isn’t Palma de mallorca!
So can I just press on any waypoint in the MCDU when I want to insert something in the fix page?@@RealSimPilot

love the tutorials :D

never seen this before
I got a problem with this plane, when I release parking brake for taxi, it’s move by himself, I just do nothing but it moved can anyone help me?
The A320Neo LEAP engines (which FBW have) make the plane move on idle thrust

Automation is meant to relieve the pilot of some burden, not to replace it.
