Last year,due to lockdown,and tired of seeing my mom slave over the traditional thanksgiving dinner preparation, I insisted that we have grilled cheese and tomato soup for thanksgiving. It was a hit,and she devoured it,relieved!
I’m out of your cheese. Making it Mom used mozzarella cheese as a replacement. Boy are they fun to eat with the stretching of the cheese. Dunk the sandwich into the soup, then you have a fun, hilarious and messy meal. As kids we had fun even though my dad was not a fan of mom’s dish. Actually during tough times we used any cheese that was in the house. It’s just cheddar or mozzarella were the favorites. Thanks for sharing and helping me to be nostalgic as a child.

Amazing work Andrew, I will however disagree with you when blending your tomato soup; when the soup gains a creamy color while blending, it’s because the oils in the tomato sauce are now emulsifying, similar to when making mayonnaise. When I’m making a hot pepper sauce I always add a dash of garlic oil before blending to give it a creamy thicker consistency.

Andrew you just killed me. Now I can make pizza with a freako crust instead of bread. I only eat 4 cheese pizza now I will only eat cheese with a little bit of pizza sauce.
@@moonovermiami9787 it's probably going to be a little bit hard to get to work properly I've already tried once and while it tasted great it wasn't quite a handheld food. I think I have to make the crust first
@@alfulton5946 There's a Keto pizza crust recipe that works too.. combine microwave melted mozzarella, pre-steamed cauliflower and parmegian to a dough. But I do like thin crust pizza, so I don't think I'll mind if a parm base gets crispy. Yes, first make the crust.

He wiped his nose with that cloth, then turned around and wiped his mouth with it a little later, only to clean the plate with it, so I'm cringing hard. I couldn't even eat my own food if I did that and realized it afterward, lol.
Is an ant holding the camera or is that a person with ants in their pants? Go to the gym for some strength so you can steady yourself or mount the camera on a tripod. All the shaky moving around is very distracting.

I love using stale sourdough and cooking it for like 30 min on low! It’s so chewy and holds up to the soup!!

Love that you use mayo, but I grew up with Jewish or Russian Rye bread with Velveeta cheese on mine. With Lentil, Minestrone or split pea soup.
