I totally agree which is why I’m here today. I have a huge haul of tomatoes from my garden. I’ve been roasting them in batches & storing in freezer bags since early September.

I agree with you re soup season (also crockpot). I kicked ours off the other day with cabbage soup and some for the freezer. I love the fall so much that when our daughter was born at the end of September, she was named Autumn. It means cooler weather is finally coming here in the deep south.

I kicked off soup season today with a delicious sorrel soup. It also contains potato. Pumpkin spice can go hide. I do like a touch of cinnamon in my coffee at this time of year.

Bake 425° 20 min
Chpped Celery onion garlic cook with light oil and butter
Add diced potato & broth 15-20min *add thyme
Mix all in cooking pot >5 min
Blend
Cook with heavy cream >5min
Enjoy
