I make a cauliflower soup my husband is obsessed with inspired by one of your recipes. Quick request: I wish your production team gave us more shots of the food itself throughout the process so home cooks can estimate ratios and know what to visually look for in each step. This video in particular was more difficult to replicate since they gave us so few shots of the pan itself. Many thanks!

The Roasted Creamy Tomato Soup I was expecting Gordon: The consistency is off, You have violated my tongue, Salt water tastes creamier..An you call yourself creamy tomato soup? Get the eff out of my Kitchen
All you need is your OWN ingredients...butter a touch of wasabi or light soy sauce. If the red colors are lost it's just watered down too much with other flavors. BTW; beans and toast is Gross 🤢
Made this soup and it’s lovely, but imo needs more seasonings. Made the Welsh rabbit too (I’ve never had it before as I’m American and it’s not really a thing over here) and it’s quite good but wow that beer comes across quite strong. My husband liked it, but for myself in the future I think I’ll use the cream instead.

It's the tail end of Summer and an abundance of tomatoes (they all seemed to have ripened at the same time this year) so going to try this recipe... Gordon is pretty handy with his chopper..
Shocking video, far too close, moves around too much, just pull back and observe without all the ins and outs and movement, a pain to watch, see ya, had enough after one minute.
It's supposed to, do not add honey or any sweetness. Rarebit was originally a poor man's alternative to meat and is intended to be even more savoury than a 'grilled cheese'. The slightly bitter umami addition is what Welsh rarebit is about. The soup is providing the sweetness here using ripe tomatoes plus Gordon Ramsay chose to add a little sugar in making the soup. The rarebit is complementary. It will key-in to the balsamic vinegar and the sun dried tomato pesto, but play with the subtle tomato sweetness. The closest basis I can find for what you want to do is an historic recipe for English rarebit that starts by soaking the bread in red wine. That might work here. The bottom line is that Welsh or any rarebit is supposed to have that bitter-side-of-umami undertone to the grilled cheese. Do not dilute that and think you've still made rarebit. The cheese should soften it slightly.
Great recipe, try dried limes instead of balsamic vinegar, you need only one of course only the inside of it not the seeds nor peel. I am sure you will thank me for this tip. Boon appetite ❤
Well, this brings roasted tomato soup and grilled cheese to a whole new level, I believe. I was watching videos for roasted tomato soup, because I have loads of tomatoes coming on. I've already got plenty of tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomatoes with peppers, ect. I'm out of tomato soup, however, and my granddaughter wanted tomato soup, the other night. So, I promised that I would can some tomato soup for her. I don't know that she'll like the Welsh rabbit grilled cheese, but I'll make that for my children and I. I think you used Guinness Stout, so I'll see about finding some of that. I'm learning to make cheese, and we live around 3 big Amish communities, so fresh dairy milk for making cheese, is in abundance, plus cheep too. I've not heard of it, but I'd like to make the Montgomery cheddar, or hopefully some similar to it. I don't know that I'll get anywhere near the flavor though, I just googled it and they let it age in a cave, for a year. We have caves here on the property, also used to hike up to one, when I was in high school, with my friend. The town about 10 miles from me, sits on top of an old Civil War cave/tunnel. This is definitely something I'd love to try. I'm also learning how to make sourdough, I think that would go good with the rue, and cheese. The Pesto also looks amazing! Wow, I'm going to try and make all of this at some point, probably this fall...well probably not Montgomery cheese, but I'll do another kind. Thank you for the recipe!.

2:51 you also scratch the hell out of the pan, ruining the non-stick forever
You dont if your immersion blender came with pan guard as my KitchenAid one did
If you have a good stick blender it has a pan guard on it. As a matter of fact I’ve never seen one without one
It looks like it's anodized aluminum not nonstick. You shouldn't really be using non stick in roasting pans anyway, imo.

I love the taste of Worcestershire sauce but it is not spicy !
It is spicy if you try tasting it by itself. But not spicy like peppers that make food spicy.
"spicy" doesn't just mean "it contains a lot of capsaicin", it means it contains a lot of spice.
