I AM DONE.. Because of you I have finished overhauling my art studio. It was such a overwhelming mess. But I started and worked on it everyday. After 2 1/2 weeks I finished. I owe it all to your inspiration. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I chatted with you this winter and 6 months later I got it done. Love and hugs Sheryl I have mental and physical limitations. Norrine - You are the queen of organization and creativity! I'm hoping you are having a little cooler weather and are away from those California fires. You are in my prayers, my friend. Have a lovely day. Blessings-Judith 🎵🎭
You must have the creative gene that I didn't get! All the storage items are terrific, but my favorites are the stamp pad holder and the scrap paper organization.
You pick my favorite storage ideas: #10 tin organizer, #8 marker organizer, #7 gutter storage and #5 cardstock organizer, which I need for my growing cardstock collection from watching The Posh Paper Lady's tutorials. Thank you for introducing me to her channel! P.S. I love all of your ideas, you're amazing Wendy
Hello sunshine. Today's content is definitely a saved one for me. Not to mention a share. It was great seeing these projects again. I do believe the majority agree that the 1st favorite diy done together with the Posh Lady, was a huge success. You are so Inspirational. I believe I became a subscriber around the time you were doing the tuna can Organizer. I really enjoyed watching this video today. Keep shining on. See you soon. Btw, I still Love the little bird house you made. One of my favorite pieces. 🌞💚😎
Hello Norrine- great to see the countdown👏👏👏 as everything is practical, achievable and awesome! I don’t have a particular favorite but have a number of these in mind when I get my space going on!!! ❤️😀
Thanks to your helpful ideas when you 1st showed keeping color paper organized using 12x12 sheet protectors, I have all my colored papers labeled per color in these sleeves....some colors need more than one sleeve as I have years of papers that had piled up. To store, I use what I had on hand = an expandable file organizer that stands on its own. Because it has 2 side handles, I carry it from project to project. I love finding what I want so easily. Thank you, so much for your hard work in keeping your projects low coat!😊
Hello dear Norrine, I loved them all, but Yes I was not surprised by the #1 being that beautiful caddy. Both of the designs of that gave me ideas on using some parts and pieces I already own. Gosh, I keep hoping your subscriber numbers will jump to the 100 thousand mark. I'm pretty sure this video is a pre-recorded video, but wanted to let you know, I'm keeping you and your girls in my prayers. Hope all of you are having a great time. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Number five year was what brought me to your channel and I still use it to this day! It is amazing for keeping scraps group together by colour and organised.
So far, the most useful trick I've learned is the ziplock bags and the tabs. It makes putting things in box storage so much easier to take out and put away.
Wow, can't believe I missed #1. Thought I binge watched all of your videos in 2 to 3 days. Also loved the storage using the wine cartons. Makes me want to order wine just to get them. Thanks for all you do. Loved the ideas...
Thanks, perfect timing for ideas as I am in the midst of downsizing my work space to less than half the size room I have now and it's a bit overwhelming trying to figure out how I can store things more efficiently. I had missed a couple of these, it's fun to see your favorites.
Great video chuck full of awesome tips! Just an FYI, for viewers and crafters….. I often score nearly full boxes of file folders at area Goodwill shops. I do loads of paper crafting and card making too…. The thrifted file folders are a huge cost savings! Lol, I have an old cartridge Cricut, a big shot Sizzix, etc… file folders thrifted by the box load are wonderful! I work with scouts, church, and my sister, as well as future daughter in law are teachers!
This was great to get another look at your wonderful storage ideas!!! I want to do the rolling craft storage and I just bought the paper towel holder yesterday to make that wonderful storage holder. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Kansas
First, I want to say that I wish I would have found your channel before I started organizing my craft room! I would have saved a lot of money, but I am rethinking and utilizing the items that I cannot use for the intended purpose. I have WAY more paper than you, unless you have more hidden somewhere else, so I decided to use your bookshelf idea of the foam board and making paper storage for my 6x6, 8x8, and 12x12 paper pads. One of my favorites is the accordion file folders for my paper scraps. (I have a lot)
I had not seen no. 4 so am going to go watch it now as I need that one for sure. I was inspired to use no 3 for my quilt scrap layered box I shared on FB last week, and I am in the planning stages for your no 2 wine box idea, only I'm using these little boxes that i get my dogs thyroid medications mailed in. I'm making it into a pretty cabinet that will hold half square triangles of different sizes already precut for those scrappy quilt projects. Love the diy storage bins, cabinets, etc. Keep the idea's coming. : )
One of my favorite videos you have made. Since I watch you all the time , I had seen them all but loved having a reminder of all these great ideas on one place. Thanks!
#3 is what helped me deal with storage issues in my craft area. I did not make what you did, but did make shelves of foam core covered with contact paper ( all from Dollar Tree) to build a unit of different sized plastic drawers I already had. I have 4 large ones stacked 2 by 2, then on top of that, 2 covered foam core sheets. This is topped with 3 medium drawers in one layer side by side. Then another set of 2 covered foam core sheets and on top of that 2 large boxes from IKEA that hold my cardstock and scrapboook paper. Next, I plan to use foam core to make one lid for the 2 boxes. It will have 3 "lip" sides (not one on the back) so I will be able to easily tip back and slide down the lid to access the boxes. I was a teacher and had the sets of plastic storage drawers in my classroom and wanted to use them at home rather than purchase something new. Thanks for the inspiration!
To be honest, I love all of them. I am in the process of using the ideas in my house although it will take me a loooooong time to do it. The no.1 one was my favourite - my mind was blown when I first saw it.
Saw a rolling hang file for $5 on a buy sell trade site. Thought it would have worked for the rolling cart idea. If it is still available I will be getting it and giving it a try
They're all great ideas! I love the Tiffany dupe and the collaboration rolling cart, but I plan to make a series of 3 shelf storage, that eventually I can stack them (2 together) to make taller storage. I'd love to buy from IKEA but they've been out of stock locally. They'll be for yarn storage when I get my sewing/crochet studio done... right now downsizing my master bedroom.
This is a great video Norrine. Totally Tiffany Storage drawers is my favorite. A close second is the ink storage. Takes up minimal wall space and my ink pads work perfectly as the colors are marked on the sides also. For ink pads that do not have the colors printed on the side, you could stamp onto paper and taping it to the side.
All your ideas are clever and useful Norrine, but for myself in the middle of doing some organising right now, the plastic files for scraps is the one I should try, as mine always get dog-eared or lost in between other things. 😊👍
I love all of the ideas! Good news is I finally finished cleanup and replacement of items tossed out from water damage. The little bookcase with two drawers that I wanted to use for No.1 did dry out and should work. I started back to school prep this week, but I always alternate with hobbies so I don’t go bonkers. I did have to toss my late husband’s wooden Army chest from 50 years ago, but I salvaged the double sided interior tray it came with. I’m trying to figure what to do with that. Coffee table? Shelf? Under bed rolling storage? No clue at the moment. As always, your ideas are gorgeous and blissfully logical!
Keep an eye out for Microwave carts…. They are usually inexpensive, really sturdy, and have wheels already!!!! Then all you’ll need to do is cut down your pegboard to size 😁
I loved the one and two gallon zip bags in the bin. I would not think to use cardstock to make zip bags stand in a bin--even though I did exactly that to make clear dividers stand in my binder of clear sentiment stamps, random die cuts, and stencils. 😂 PS: IKEA was out of the Rascog cart a couple of months ago, I found a similar We R Memory Keepers cart on sale at the same price; some storage is worth paying for if it is not too far out of budget.
It was fun seeing some of your greats all in one video, Norrine. Thank you! As inexpensive as the IKEA Råskog is, the only reason I can imagine someone wanting to replicate is if they don't have a store near them. If that's it, the shipping for them is still well worth it as they are built so much better than any other brand I've looked at, and I've looked at a lot of them. Some more than twice the price still don't compare. My Daddy was a tinner so I know metal work and all others that compare in price don't come near the same quality as the Råskog. Check the corners of the baskets, the mesh on the bottoms and the wheel quality and placement. You just can't beat IKEA at any price.
You are right, it's the best deal going. I've seen similar, almost duplicates of it, at other stores for a lot more money and not worth paying it. I love mine, its great for everything but especially crafty stuff.😊
I resisted getting one for a long time but finally bit the bullet earlier this year. I love it! Its so handy and sturdy I want 3 more! I keep my iron in it and my current projects so they are easily accessible and can be tucked away easily. Thanks for sharing how well made they are. I'll be sure to pick up a couple of more soon.
@@Beruthiel45 Thanks. It's funny how much I learned from my Dad all those years ago, but yeah, there's a big difference in quality of just the metal used let alone the construction. I use mine for so many different things. I have ten. 😁 I'm a little obsessed. 🤭
@@stitchinginthebarn8307 We didn't live anywhere near an IKEA for years, but finally got one a little over three hours away. That's when I went crazy buying them. I have 10 now, some of which I wound up having shipped to save the gas food and a day trip away from home. I've three in my art studio, four in my sewing/craft room, one in the master bath for towels and washcloths, one in my pantry for paper products, and one in our grandson's room we keep for his visits for his art supplies. Next time we go, I plan on getting one for the wood work shop to hold project supplies in to cart from storage to work area. I used the one in the pantry for bringing in groceries, of which we bought a ramp just to get it up the steps from the garage into out home. Yes, I am obsessed with all you can use them for.
Lol I did that too but with a black wire rack on wheels that my boss was throwing out because the one wheel lost all the barings. I used broom handles from dollar tree, and zip tied the peg board to it. It is awesome. I did pick #1
They are all great Diys! The cart you made with Sherry was really cool. I have my papers in a scrapbook but it is now proving to be to Awkward to lift. I just might do what you’re doing now. Thank you for sharing.
They are all really great storage ideas! Of course the rolling cart that you did with Sherry has to be #1! I have a question that has nothing to do with this video......you have mentioned a couple of times that you do videos or something with Annies....what exactly is it that you do and is there a youtube channel to go to? Thanks Norrine for all that you do and for inspiring us!

I guessed most of these. Number 1 is my favorite. You missed an oldie. Remember the first rolling cart you made?? I'm still considering making that one.
Hey Norrine! I've missed you, hope you and your family are safe and blessed! Thank you so much for sharing this! Of course I love all your DIY ideas and creations and I thought the collaboration would be #1!!! I hope I'll be able to do mine sometime soon. Maybe you and Sherry can do another collaboration again soon, look forward to seeing it. But I look forward to seeing more from you both on here. I love you lady, take care and see you later 🥰💖🙏
You are definitely very creative thinking of all those ideas for storage What are your thoughts on an Alex drawer unit what I'm thinking of as taking on my diet if they'll fit and put then putting them inside something that resembles an Alex drawer unit with magnets
I think those units are amazing… just measure and verify first… Sometimes those drawers come in different sizes and people end up not being able to utilize all of the drawers because of that.
Hi Norinne I'm new to your channel. And I subscribed as well. I got a question where did you buy that big box that you store those ziplock bags in for filing? Thank you.
I'm trying to find a video that shows how you created those vertical blue boxes that are in the backdrop when you film they have black country style pulls on them I really think those would be good to solve some of my organization problems can you direct me to the video where you explained how to do them I would really appreciate it I've been searching and searching and I can't find the video I'm hoping you have one
Good day m'lady! I rewatched this vid cuz... well just cuz, and it brings a question and a dilemma to mind. Question: re: marker, paint pen, and even gel pen storage... is there kind of a rule of thumb about storing them business end up or down - I know some are VERY specific, but generally speaking? I keep mine in a bucket so pretty much vertical or - trying a new thing - slightly slanted but with one end definitely lower than the other. Dilemma: Craft tools! Die cut machines and paper trimmers and a Crop-A-Dile, my label maker (😁), stuff like that. I have no spare drawers or shelves. Right now they're in a box on the floor and I'd like to do better but I'm stuck 🤷♀️ ...any thoughts? Love you, miss you, MK 🤗😘❤🏜
I think the overall consensus is that they should be stored flat - if it's double tipped, or tip down, if it's single tip. But don't tell the internet that - or you will open a multi-day debate! LOL
Is the horizontal wood looking background real wood or wood looking paper of some kind? Thanks. Your new friend. Nancy in Colorado. Wish you lived near me, I would hire you to organize me.

I guessed most of these. Number 1 is my favorite. You missed an oldie. Remember the first rolling cart you made?? I'm still considering making that one.
The little garden one??? I still have that in my backyard!!! LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Yes!!
You have great idea and yes my favorite was here Wootwoot
Hey Norrine! I've missed you, hope you and your family are safe and blessed! Thank you so much for sharing this! Of course I love all your DIY ideas and creations and I thought the collaboration would be #1!!! I hope I'll be able to do mine sometime soon. Maybe you and Sherry can do another collaboration again soon, look forward to seeing it. But I look forward to seeing more from you both on here. I love you lady, take care and see you later 🥰💖🙏
I’m hoping to start doing more DIY dupes soon!!!
I have just posted a photo on Facebook showing how I got inspiration from your peg board storage. Thank you 😘
I can't wait to see it!!!!!!!! 🌺
Great ideas 💡☺️
I use the gallon plastic bag, storage all the time..
Right? So useful for so many things!!
Which I had the ability. My craft area is a table behind dining room table! Lol!
You are definitely very creative thinking of all those ideas for storage
What are your thoughts on an Alex drawer unit what I'm thinking of as taking on my diet if they'll fit and put then putting them inside something that resembles an Alex drawer unit with magnets
I think those units are amazing… just measure and verify first… Sometimes those drawers come in different sizes and people end up not being able to utilize all of the drawers because of that.
I just want to say your a genius love youuuu!!! Your awesome ty new subbie here
Thank you! I'm so happy to have you here :)
Love them all ! BTW, what is a razzcog(?), not sure if I heard it correctly
It’s a popular rolling cart organizer from Ikea: www.ikea.com/us/en/p/raskog-utility-cart-black-90333976/
I apparently missed a couple of these videos! Gotta go back and get some directions!
Yay! Then you can tell me if you agree or not 😊
Hi Norinne I'm new to your channel. And I subscribed as well. I got a question where did you buy that big box that you store those ziplock bags in for filing? Thank you.
Hi, Yvette! Thanks for subscribing! It’s the Tjena box from Ikea. Think they are around $6 now 🥰
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Thank you so for your respond.👍😁
I'm trying to find a video that shows how you created those vertical blue boxes that are in the backdrop when you film they have black country style pulls on them I really think those would be good to solve some of my organization problems can you direct me to the video where you explained how to do them I would really appreciate it I've been searching and searching and I can't find the video I'm hoping you have one
I'm not sure if it's this one..... Let me know if it's not. ruclips.net/video/HUc8Zfy0x0k/видео.html
It's a sturdy paper she glued on. The video was uploaded not too long ago, maybe 2-3 weeks, a month ago max. You can find it on her channel easily 😉
It’s just paper! 😁 Here’s the video on how I did it: ruclips.net/video/-VsUM1X742c/видео.html
Ooh! Yes! The bf just brought home some of that stuff because he was going to build me a marker tower!
Perfect timing!!!
Where are you?
Miss your videos
