To be honest, I've never hung sweaters. I've always been told that you store sweaters flat. That looks like a fantastic way to store sweaters if one doesn't have the flat storage. (My sweaters are currently in an underbed drawer).
Another plus for the metal racks, you can put wheels on them. Making them easier to move and rearrange in your space. I've been converting my storage unit to mobile racks as money will allow. I like my spice riser. It works for me! I dont wear heels any more. Most of my shoes are flats and are in an underbed blanket box. Perfect for me! Yes! Small containers in a larger one. I have dropped those boxes with individual uncovered spaces, omg, horrific result! Plus its so hard to get things out of those square spaces! This was a super video, thanks!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer my spice jars are several different sizes and brands actually. It's important to me to be able to see what i have at a glance (they are in alphabetical order) so i dont like my spices in a box. Everybody is different. My cabinet is also tall enough that i can remove spices from the back row pretty easily. Maybe that's why it works for me.
If you feed the torso and arm of your sweater through the hanger after you drape it around the hook, it will secure it on the hanger a lot better. I am on a fixed income and purchased a few shoe racks that are fabric and attached them to the wall. I use one in my bathroom for towels and one in my bedroom for extra pillows. I am moving in the next couple years and plan to use them in a closet to make a pantry if there isn't one.
I can't even tell you how much I use my label maker! I have two! One for my dad's house n on for mine. After a while we moved into my dad's. Now we keep one up and one in the basement. I bought my tapes from Ali express. Then I found them on Amazon. I label every thing! I almost doubled my closet space with the thin velvet hangers. Moved from a walk in closet to a 1960 sliding door closet. We had to get rugs of a lot of clothes and condense.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Watch for their shipping costs. At one time it WAS less from them. But since there is the added tariff on China, it might be about the same. Plus it takes 1 to 2 months. I had brought about 20 at the time about 6 years ago. Still using it up. Lol
Those wire racks are about double the price! I have covered foam board from Dollar Tree with marble contact paper. I found a few tutorial on RUclips for how to do it. I settled on one whose directions made sense to my brain. Looks great!
I am so mad at the prices right now!!!!!! MORE than double!!!! My bookshelves were $35, and are now going for $80 and up! And don't even get me started on wood prices! Augh.....
I love the tip on how to hang sweaters! I swear I was just struggling with that the other day! I do have my craft paper in baskets and it really works for me. One thing I do that might not be a space saver is on my fridge door I have a couple of dollar tree plastic containers that I keep condiments in like maple syrup, worcestershire, sweet and sour sauce, etc. The reason I do this is because I hate cleaning the shelves on the door so its easy just to pull out the items and the container and wash that down along with the outside of the bottles. I find it so much easier than trying to clean up little spills on the shelf itself. Lots of good tips Norrine! Thank you!
I know!!! That's how I feel in my garage.... This is what helps me; go in with tunnel vision and focus on one small area for a set amount of items or time! Making a tiny bit of progress will help with motivation!!! I usually start with my laundry spot, because it's easier. So often if I start there, it dominoes into the rest of my space. :)
@@TheCraftyOrganizer I know there are things in there that I no longer use, but find it extremely difficult to let go of. I wish it was easier for me to do that. I'm just so afraid that if I get rid of it, I will need it. I also love painting supplies and pens. I really need to concentrate on getting them all together so I know for sure what I have and use it up before I buy more.
Norrine, I too love my p-touch. There is a function setting so that instead of using the space bar, you can keep it from feeding after each label. Choose the label button. Scroll to margin. Then choose chain print. After you type your label, hit print. When it is done it will ask if you want it to feed. Hit the escape button if you want to keep making more labels. On the last one, when it asks if you want to feed, choose okay. Then just cut your labels apart. This saves an enormous amount of the tape. Also, this label maker is great with batteries too. I use mine quite often throughout my house. I’ve only changed the batteries 2 times in the past 4 years.
No PHD, lol, I just make a lot of labels and got tired of using up so much tape just to throw it away. I think this stumbled across it on a Jennifer McGuire video several years ago.
I TOTALLY AGREE with the soft velvet hangers...these made ALL the difference in the world for my clothes....so, much so that I'm kinda stingy with my hangers....places like Tuesday morning makes them affordable. 🙂
You are spot on with so many of your comments. Usually people buy the storage solution and then find stuff to fit in it rather than doing it the other way which is more logical. What do you think about the cube storage wall units? I’ve been using them for my yarn and Increasing their weight capacity by adding zip ties at each join to reinforce the connections. I find that I can put a 4 ft.² storage box into 2 14 inch box cubes and I can stack them about seven cubes high depending on the room. It means I can fit almost my entire Yarn stash into one room, and given that I have more yarn than Walmart does right now that’s actually saying some thing. LOL Take care and stay safe!
I think what you are doing is a great idea! I'm always worried about safety, so as long as you feel it's sturdy - way to go!!!!! Another trick with yarn, is get the vacuum storage bags from the Dollar Tree - you will reduce the space your yarn is taking by more than half!!!! You can still break it down by color, material, project, etc.... and it will keep it dust free!!!!
We have the wire racks everywhere! In the pantry, on a shelf or two, I've used the single shoe rack shelf (Grejig? I think from Ikea) to help organize canned goods and it's worked like a dream. And that's the only place in the house with a shoe rack 😂
@@TheCraftyOrganizer The beautiful thing about the IKEA ones is the legs lock into place, and are solid. They're easy to unlock, but you don't have to worry about it collapsing on you mid-setup. IKEA advises you can stack up to three high but if careful you can get away with more 😄
You are completely correct about the cardstock holder's! The tote is also better for keeping the humidity from your cardstock. If you've ever cut a piece and the cut wasn't clean, it's usually because it has soaked up some humidity. I put those little bags that you get in shoe boxes, in my tote also. Thanks for the tip on how to hang a sweater! I've never hung them, they have always went in the dresser, but this is definitely a space saver!
I so love all your ideas. I brought the stairs for my small Paint bottles. Everytime I reached for the top one, I would knock the rest over😠😠 lucky I only brought one..
I'm sorry I didn't save you from that sooner. I've never found them to be helpful for storage - they are great for displaying small collections though!
I have used many of the items you mentioned in this video. The worst one was the plastic containers with the dividers inside. We had one with tiny beads that my kids used. I organized all the beads inside by color, and guess what happened? Yep, it got knocked over, the lid opened up and all the beads scattered across the floor. It was a mess! Now, I use small plastic zipper bags for sorting and storing beads. They don’t work as well for children, but my kids are grown now so I don’t have to worry about that.
Learned how to hang sweaters correctly. I too dont like stacking hangers for the same reason. I prefer the metal racks too. Good idea to dress them up. Thx.
Since I’ve started watching your channel I’ve become much more creative in finding storage solutions using materials I have on hand. Thanks for the wonderful content!
I am headed to my closet to rehang a few sweaters I have. Since I am on a fixed income, I always have to be frugal about my organization supplies. I have covered many a box with pretty paper. I volunteer at the library, & I have done the same thing there. I covered the boxes to store all my excess labels, DVD Cases, etc. This way when they are sitting on top of the shelf, they are all organized & look pretty. Thanks for sharing. On to your next video.
That's so disappointing! Maybe use the tiny ones to give home-made goodies during the Holidays! It's a great container - and it gets it out of your house ;)
I love the container look - I really do!!!! But I limit it to those staples I KNOW we use, which are all larger cereal containers. They work great for our rice, oatmeal, cereal, dog treats, and pasta.
those plastic hangers drive me nuts. things fall off all the time. I started using the velvet and I won't go back! for paper, i hate the dust that can accumulate on the shelves. Covered storage all the way. I also use the empty containers from dishwasher pods under the sink. Like you said, I put like with like-sponges, hand wash brushes, dishwash (Dawn), etc. It is easy to pull the bins to get to that carpet spray, and if something leaks it is easy to clean up!
Sweater hanging tip - amazing! But the tip about using space bar for saving some tape in label maker? Holy cow, why have I never thought of that?!?!? That will save me so much in money and effort. Great video - thank you for your great attention to these details!
I recently watched an older episode of Sarah Richardson’s show where she printed labels on transparency I’m her computer printer. I thought it was a reasonable alternative if someone didn’t have a label maker.
So many good ideas for setting up my craftroom (I'm looking at houses) so that all the supplies i have will have a home in THEIR HOME. I'm sure excited for finally getting a house and deciding MY ideas. I'm glad I watched enough of craft space shows that teach me what do I have so now what container do I buy or make. Thank you for sharing your passion with me I am beginning to get my organizers ready, things like multiples, and honestly I hope I can do it without a man. This will be my first house on my own. I have an entire craft room (shaved off some trash, keep, & give) ~~~and my kitchen, my goal is for it to function!!!!!!! for ME!!! So I'm excited and wanted to make sure I thanked the person who inspired me!! SOOO THAAAAAANNNK YOOOOOOOUUU!!!! These lessons you post ARE being heard & you ARE making a difference! so always know you ARE much appreciated. Well, at least I do!!
OMGosh!!!! Melanie!!!! I am so excited for you!!!!! You CAN do it! I will be here to help root for you and give suggestions! This is going to be such an amazing space for you! PLEASE take pictures!!!!
I’ve never regretted any OXO product. They are one of the few storage containers that will have replacement gaskets. other containers when those gaskets go they’re useless. Anchor hocking has replacement lids and of course mason jars.
I have a couple of paper organizers, one has adjustable shelves (it is 5 feet wide and tall-from a garage sale) I take some shelves out and store my tall paper upright in plastic envelopes. I have a bunch of box lids upside down, now they are trays that slide into the space holding tools, and other stuff that just needs a shallow shelf.
I like these ideas. There are several that I'll use going forward. I do happen to have a plastic shelf unit. I bought ot for a different purpose. After it served its purpose, I found that it holds my scrapbook container boxes perfectly. I can fit 2 on each shelf easily. I also have a heavy wooden shelving unit that will hold bins that I can put my 12x12 paper in, 2 per shelf. It was free, so if it doesn't work out, I can always switch to an adjustable shelf system. I have considered a tall 600 lb weight capacity cabinet with doors, to keep dust off, and adjustable shelves. But it's $200. So I have not taken that step yet. Decisions, decisions 🤔 😊❤️
I completely agree about stacked paper storage. I had my craft and sewing space completely renovated last fall including a walk-in closet. I elected not to change my paper storage for the reasons you mentioned. I have a long shelf in my closet with all of my cardstock arranged by color and labeled by color name for easy visibility and access. I did not go to the added expense nor waste space by changing what I had. It's perfect for me. Also in the closet on another shelf, I keep the patterned paper in portable plastic containers that I can set on my desk and go through as I create. It also helps me keep the volume of my paper stash from getting out of control because I refuse to expand to another shelf. Thanks for your great suggestions, Norrine!
It really works well to keep a balance of using what you have... and not getting more until you have USED what you have! So proud of you for the self-control!
Norrene: I like this because... MK: Yep... Norrene: I don't like this because... MK: Uh huh, yep... Norreen: This is how you're supposed to hang a sweater... MK: ...the heck? Wait... WHAT?? [Off to the bedroom, phone in hand, sweater out, hanger out, learning curve... 🤷♀️ two minutes later...] MK: Oohhhh... OK. 🤦♀️ 😁
MK reporting back... just returned from Walmart with a 30-pack of those skinny hangers ($12 something) for my pants that had been on those five pairs on one hanger things like you were talking about and two additional regular plastic hangers. Before, the space taken up on the closet rod was 12" and all those pants at their widest point was 16" across. Afterwards 13" were taken up on the rod AND 13" at the pants' widest point. ANNDDD... I gotta add that the whole thing looks a site better. Mama's a happy camper. Thank you my Crafty Organizer.
The Brother Ptouch is amazing. To save on tape, type your label, click label and then Chain, press Print, feed ok, etc, backspace what you have written, type again and repeat the process, when you are completely done, hit print, feed ok, yes, then you can cut them apart. Saves so much tape!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer I found out only by watching videos of others using this method. It is in the instructions, but hard to find and understand. Hope this was helpful. Thank you for all your amazing tips. You have been very helpful. Love your new way to store markers with the egg crate lighting. Wish you lived in my area (Rhode Island). I would definitely hire you! I have a lot of crafty items but some I don’t use and know I’ll never use, but hate tossing them.
I started using the dollar store white coat hooks ...not the over the door but the ones you screw into the wall.. I did that in our trailer by the door and I hang the kids sandals and shoes on the hooks. Since it worked there for many things I started using them at home in their rooms... to hang their shoes, coats, backpacks, purses...jewelry....hair bands and scrunches....💕
I always thought Home Goods was a furniture store. Now I will have to visit it for those clear containers. Thanks Norrine, I do have one near me, 5 miles away!
Thanks for the heads up about the metal shelves. I have quite a few of these. Now that I'm slowly decluttering and organizing I won't need them all. I was thinking I'd just sell them, but hearing how those have increased in cost, I'm reconsidering. They ARE wonderful. I'm going to disassemble them as they are emptied and store them for a while. In the past I've over-organized (for me) and then needed to spread back out a bit, again. I don't want to have to repurchase these at a higher price. If I end up needing the space where i store them, I'll let some go.
I love you!!! I have gotten so many good ideas from you and used them-I have told my two girls about your RUclips videos to get ideas that they might be looking for. Thank you thank you thank you😊
Many of these ideas are spot on. But I won't waste any more money on the velvet hangars. The metal part that hangs on the rod won't last long. It rips off the lower velvet part & you'll end up with only the bottom part of the hangar, a missing top part & no way to hang anything up🥴.
So sorry you've had bad luck with these! I find that happens with the styles that don't 'spin'. The style that is locked into the hanger and won't let you flip it around break easier. Wish they would change that.
Can't agree more on those paper holders and the wire racks. I LOVE the paper holders from Stamp-N-Storage because they look so beautiful filled with gorgeous color card stock and they can be used both horizontally and vertically. However, they take up way too much space! If I had a huge studio, I would love to own them to display my card stock collection. BUT I have a small room so I must use what works best for my tiny space. I use recycled USPS flat rate boxes (covered with pretty paper) for my loose 12x12 color card stock and patterned paper. For my 8x11 color card stock, I use the Totally Tiffany metal paper cart. My neutral cardstock goes in a covered file bin. Now for my 12x12 paper collections they are stored on the wire shelves you mentioned. I have them in big plastic bins from Walmart and those bins are stored on my wire shelving rack which I have on wheels. There is no way those plastic shelves could hold four full bins of paper collections; hence, these wire shelves are a Godsend! Thanks for your videos, they are so helpful, and I got to admit; I love it when another crafty person agrees with my methods!
Harbor Freight has those boxes with individual containers inside for about $5. I do bead weaving, seed beads are best in tubes, but findings and buttons, larger beads, etc, work best in the Harbor Freight boxes. I believe 24 little ones inside the large one.
Thank you, Norrine, for the great information. I have a way of organizing small items that may help someone. For my beads, I use food storage bags and some of the tiny plastic bags they sell at craft stores. For example, I take all of the blue beads and sort them by type. Each type gets its own bag based on quantity. If I have a lot of one type, I may need a snack or sandwich size bag. Once all of the blue beads are bagged, I will put all of the bags in a larger bag...like a gallon size. Then when I need blue beads, I just pull out the one bag. You could also do this with the same type of bead, like all seed beads, whatever works for you. If it is important, I will put the package info in each bag so I know size and where purchased if I need more.
Look in pharmacy dept for a pack of small zip type bags for pills. Also some clothes come with tiny bags with extra buttons or matchiing yarn. If you no longer have he matching garment, use the bag to hold those tiny beads and findings.
I recently found your channel and love so many of your ideas - I'm working on the foam board shelving unit right now. I just wanted to say that I don't think that sweater folding technique would work for plus-sized folks. If nothing, else, it wouldn't stay folded long. I suspect most of my sweaters would be on the floor in no time. I'd go for a padded hanger to help with the stretching and maybe even box them up during the off-seasons. And are those Mary Englebreit books behind you in this video? Especially the one tucked in the back on your left. They look awfully familiar....
Thanks for that bit of info - and I'm glad you are finding workarounds for what I suggested. And, GREAT EYES! Yes - I am a HUGE Mary Englebreit fan!!!!! 💜
2 things: I love the metal shelving units. But I also get castors for the bottom and then I can move the unit around if I need to - game changer How do I stop S hooks from falling off? I used them in the kitchen for utensils and they seriously drive me nuts. Are there better S hooks out there? Mine are from Ikea.
@@spiritjunkie1913 I'm not sure, I know what you mean. Or I could put some plastic tubing over it on the bend and that might stop it moving as much. I'll have to try some things. Thank you!
Buy the style I showed... they have a narrow hook on the top so they don't move/swing from the rack! They are designed FOR the metal shelves and are AWESOME! www.amazon.com/dp/B075WSQPGL/?ref=idea_lv_dp_
Everything you mentioned was sooo useful! I have had the exact same experiences you mentioned on many of the items. I have never understood why all these organizers recommend those stair-step tiered shelves for kitchen cabinets. I always thought it was just me who was clumsy knocking everything over. Glad to hear I am not the only one 😁
I have a differing viewpoint on under sink storage. I love my Iris brand, use a coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond. This 2 tier storage I turned into 3 tier, by raising it up higher and using the floor as a tier. Everything is expandable, movable and shelf parts removable. Set up was easy. I love it, and would use it for all under the sink storage.
Great info. Suggestion for sewists: I use the stair risers next to my sewing machine for seam ripper, thread and bobbins and all those little gadgets within easy reach and visible. The rubbery surface keeps items from falling off. I love it.
I have one of those pants hangers. You are so right about them. I have to fight to get my pants on and off. I've never hung a sweater. I fold them and put on a shelf or put in a spare dresser. I guess that means I have too many lol.
Great tip about the label cartridges - I am definitely getting those. Also, agree totally about the steel b. plastic shelving. I’ve had both and now go to the steel every time. I got one on wheels for my whole Ninja Foodi set-up. It has a nice butcher block top but the whole thing was a little high for me. A brainstorm made me thing of using a pipe-cutter to lower the top a few inches. Took less than 2 minutes and I have a perfect height for me to pull the heavy, full inside pot out easily. I also use one in the back of an “under-stairs” closet - the small space made it hard to get to behind jackets and wraps, but a wire-rack cart and some bins - perfect.

Thank you!
Smart!!!!!
Great ideas, Thankyou, your a star ⭐️ xx
Thanks so much 😊
My crafty room is sometimes so overwhelming that I go in, take a look around, and walk back out. I feel so lost sometimes.
❤️Excellent tips!❤️
Thanks so much!
I use the shoe with rods to store water and drinks.
OMGosh! Thank you, Barb!!!!!
I am in need of new hangers. I bought wide plastic ones to limit my clothes. Now that my clothes are limited I need thinner hangers.
Agree totally about the tiered shelves, everything gets knocked off.
LOL
Take care and stay safe!
I've been wanting to try out the Ikea rack to compare! It looks the same - but I want to run it through the mill just to make sure. :)
@@TheCraftyOrganizer The beautiful thing about the IKEA ones is the legs lock into place, and are solid. They're easy to unlock, but you don't have to worry about it collapsing on you mid-setup. IKEA advises you can stack up to three high but if careful you can get away with more 😄
Nice hack on hanging sweaters
Thanks!
Thanks, Crystal! I've been lucky and haven't had any issues with Humidity - but it's important for other places! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for helping us. I would rather spend a little more instead of replacing it.
I could not agree more!!!!
Totally agree! I love my P Touch printer.
Love the velvet hangers. Never knew how to hang a sweater but I usually fold them in the drawer anyway.
That labeler is some of the best money I ever spent. I use it so much that as much as I’d like to , I can’t loan it to other people!
Great advice and explanations , the voice of experience is very much appreciated 😃
Thanks, Judy! So glad you enjoyed it!
You just made my day 💕
Excellent tips, ideas & alternatives. Thanks.
Glad you liked them!
The problem with storing paper vertically is it tends to warp. The horizontal storage module keeps that from happening.
The trick is to keep it vertical and close together so it can't bow out. Like using a book end so they stay straight. :)
The tape tip re generic is awesome. Switched and works!
So happy I found you. I’ve watched tons of videos that I find useful in my new creative journey.
So right on the OXO sets. I bought the set and regret it.
That's so disappointing! Maybe use the tiny ones to give home-made goodies during the Holidays! It's a great container - and it gets it out of your house ;)
You are so right. I bought the Costco container set in heat of passion. But I find I have to use my old ones because the size is not what I need. 😳
I love the container look - I really do!!!! But I limit it to those staples I KNOW we use, which are all larger cereal containers. They work great for our rice, oatmeal, cereal, dog treats, and pasta.
For the label maker. If you got to label length you can set it to be shorter so you use less tape in blank spaces.
those plastic hangers drive me nuts. things fall off all the time.
Thanks for watching, Kris! Love that you re-use those dishwasher pod containers! They are awesome!
Sweater hanging tip - amazing! But the tip about using space bar for saving some tape in label maker? Holy cow, why have I never thought of that?!?!? That will save me so much in money and effort. Great video - thank you for your great attention to these details!
Right?! It was a girl that used to work with me who told me about it! I was SO excited to save all of that tape!
I recently watched an older episode of Sarah Richardson’s show where she printed labels on transparency I’m her computer printer. I thought it was a reasonable alternative if someone didn’t have a label maker.
I do that. I have an old Dymo punch label maker. I still buy tape for it (office supply or on-line) amd it works great.
I'm saving this one too. Lots of great ideas I didn't think about. 😏😊❤️
Melanie: 👏👏👏 wow how exciting! Sounds like you are off to a great start ❤️😀
Love these suggestions. I'm in the process of doing a whole house purge and organization. These ideas will help.
Consider me your personal cheerleader and giver of suggestions if you need them. Good luck! :)
Totally agree with your under the sink wisdom...I've worked very hard to find just the right system...thanks.
What are you using now? I'm always interested in what people do for that area.... :)
Your concerns & frustrations are mine, too! Thanks for your support and understanding.
My pleasure! Hope some of the alternatives worked for you. :)
Terrific ideas!
Noreene, THANK YOU! I loved the tip on how to hang a sweater🤗
You are so welcome!
Fabulous!
A lot of the things you said I've been there done that. 😂 I guess we all live and learn thanks again Noreen I love all your ideas. 🥰🐞😘
So true! I've been lured in way too many times. LOL
🤷♀️ two minutes later...]
MK: Oohhhh... OK. 🤦♀️
😁
😂😆💜 I love the conversations we have.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Me too! 🤭🤭...aren't we a hoot??
MK reporting back... just returned from Walmart with a 30-pack of those skinny hangers ($12 something) for my pants that had been on those five pairs on one hanger things like you were talking about and two additional regular plastic hangers. Before, the space taken up on the closet rod was 12" and all those pants at their widest point was 16" across. Afterwards 13" were taken up on the rod AND 13" at the pants' widest point. ANNDDD... I gotta add that the whole thing looks a site better. Mama's a happy camper. Thank you my Crafty Organizer.
I absolutely LO LOVE mine! I got the version that comes in the case and 4 different colored cartridges and different widths. LOVE IT!
The Brother Ptouch is amazing. To save on tape, type your label, click label and then Chain, press Print, feed ok, etc, backspace what you have written, type again and repeat the process, when you are completely done, hit print, feed ok, yes, then you can cut them apart. Saves so much tape!
How did I not know that??!!?! LOL Thanks for the tip! :)
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Ooops. Just noticed, after you press Print, and it says feed ok?, press ESC, not etc... sorry about that.
Great tip!!!!
I always thought Home Goods was a furniture store. Now I will have to visit it for those clear containers.
Thanks Norrine, I do have one near me, 5 miles away!
Uh oh... It's a dangerous store! LOL I love going in there - but they have tons a great deals!
I do agree with the items you mentioned!! You nailed it!!
For my beads I use the divided cases, but I put the items in those tiny baggies so they don’t get mixed up.
Smart! I just love those little baggies!!!
Thank you thank you thank you😊
Yay! Thank you for sharing me!
I love Harbor Freight!!!! They have the best prices around!
I love it, Kim!!!! Great way to really organize your supplies and not take up much space!
2 things:
I love the metal shelving units. But I also get castors for the bottom and then I can move the unit around if I need to - game changer
How do I stop S hooks from falling off?
I yell at other videos all of the time when I see them suggested. LOL
I love your videos and ideas. Thanks for sharing hugs my friend
Great information, thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
I found you a few months ago and really enjoy your channel. Thank you so much for such great ideas.
Thanks for being here!
You are right - I would love to see that!!!!
Many good takeaways.
Thanx so much!!!!
You're welcome!
I have magazine boxes that I keep my different coloured felt , sugar paper and different coloured card in xx
That's a great idea!
Great info. Suggestion for sewists: I use the stair risers next to my sewing machine for seam ripper, thread and bobbins and all those little gadgets within easy reach and visible. The rubbery surface keeps items from falling off. I love it.
WOW! Such a smart idea!!!1
I have one of those pants hangers. You are so right about them. I have to fight to get my pants on and off. I've never hung a sweater. I fold them and put on a shelf or put in a spare dresser. I guess that means I have too many lol.
If sweaters are working in a drawer already - then it's working! No need to change. :)
I use a hanging shoe rack form pants (I roll them).
A woman can never have too many cardigans, ha ha.
thank you for your years of experience
Thanks for watching, Deb!
I had one in my kitchen with butcher block too! It was great!
