I stopped buying other plastics, I only buy Zman now. Zman imo are the best, they last the longest and have amazing action in the water.
Apparently the salt content that makes then float seems to degrade the lure's much faster than normal lure's. Streatchy they may be, bit will degrade into a pile of mush in your lure-box.
Inspite of this, they are a good lure.
Close, but it's not the salt content. The plastic is Elaztech, which is 'stretchy', but doesn't play well with other plastics (it melts with mixed in with other plastics). Best bet is to keep them in their original package.

TheXJthatCould with the paddlerz I've caught up to 40 fish with one bait, zoom flukes are stuffed after one or 2 fish! its a bit pricy but well worth the money!
except they melt in the package from heat I have bought 4 packages of z man and I have only used 1 pop shad before they melted in the boat

Keep them in a shadded area, maybe added a ice pack whenever you go out. Bring all of your soft plastics inside if you leave your boat outside or on the water.
Toss some dry ice in your bag.

Im disappointed with them. I bought the glow padde tail. They fall apart and slip off the jig.

Love this company. They need to offer darker colored baits on some of their worms/TRD. When it gets beat up (which is a good thing and needed to float) they lose some color. An all black one would look pretty good after it loses some salt.

Stretch them out before using them. When you have it stretched out then snap it back. If you don't then the bait will sink super slow for the first hour of fishing the plastic.
Z-man is not the first to use the type of plastic's , another company used is about fifteen years ago . I remember fishing a six inch. worn made out of this stuff . It was a pain in the ass bait to work with , trying to get the hook to stay in was a problem along with trying to get good hook ups . Plus some time's fish would just grab the tail and swim off , the bait just stretched out unto the fish let go . Not vary happy with it and won't use it in a money tournament , it's just not worth it .
