Wheel cleaning has always been the most dreadful part of detailing. The Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaning Foam uses a proprietary formula that pulls dirt and grime from the surface of wheels and tires, breaking up tough deposits with little to no agitation. Unique corrosion inhibitors were added to prevent issues with your brake system and suspension components.
The Auto Fanatic Professional Wheel Cleaning Foam softens the most caked on brake dust without attacking the base surface finish. It is as simple as foam, wait and rinse. For heavily soiled wheels light agitation may be required.
The Auto Fanatic Professional Wheel Cleaning foam has no harsh fumes or chemical kickback during application and leaves no residue on your hands. It’s safe on ceramic coatings, paint sealants and waxes. The Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaner is formulated to be applied with a professional foam applicator to increase dwell time and effectiveness of the cleaning action. Conventional spraying is not suggested for use.
Directions:
Step 1: Mix your desired ratio in your foam applicator.
Step 2: Always pre-rinse wheels that are cool to the touch.
Step 3. Apply even foam to all surfaces including the wheel barrel. Recommended dwell time is 2-4 minutes. Foam 2 wheels at a time for greater efficiency.
Step 4: If the wheels are heavily soiled, lightly agitate.
Step 5. Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer.
Recommended Dilution Ratios:
Toughest Brake Dust and Grime: 12oz for 1 gallon of water
Moderate Brake Dust and Grime: 8oz for 1 gallon of water
Light Brake Dust and Maintenance: 5oz for 1 gallon of water
Using the IK Foam 9 pump sprayer with the orange nozzle is suggested to offer more wetting of the surface. You can also use the grey tip (don’t use the green tip). If you don’t have a pressure washer, you can still use a garden hose to do the job.

Aye PAN... what type of pressure washer do you use? Its very silent.. great review as usual👍😊
@@aaronprudhomme8688 :-) hahahaha!

Pan TheOrganizer h
Hey pan love the videos. Thanks for all you do. Whats that plastic wheel holder you use near the end of the video? I need one of those. Putting in an order today for an ik9 and some cleaners from auto fanatic.
Dude, I don’t just RUclips search car detailing stuff anymore. I search “Pan The Organizer.....” and then the thing I want to clean. You’re my trusted source now!
Hehe that's awesome! We should find a term for that... Like "Did you Google it?" Did you "Pan The Organizer-it?" :)
When I saw a while back I thought it was pricey but rewatching it honestly is worth it considering it is safe, able to dilute and very effective. Once again pan is the best!
Thanks for the feedback Erwin!
Nice review. I found AF channel a year ago because I have a Shelby, I do not personally know him, but found his passion and expertise refreshing, I have bought Alcantara shift knob, center console and dash trim, painted calipers and an audio upgrade, everything is as advertised, and quality and workmanship beyond words.. I’ve had the previous version of this product for 6 months, wash my car twice a week and still have 1/4 of it. If you keep up, you won’t need to agitate if you go too long you may need some spot agitation, so keep up. The diluted cost is less than $10 a gallon and it lasts 3 to 4 washes. Shipping is shipping.. it probably adds $3 to per gallon price. I just bought something today for 49 on OG and had to pay shipping.. you won’t be disappointed if you are a “fanatic” about keeping your car clean as efficiently as possible.
Thanks for sharing Brad!
Pan TheOrganizer no problem, you have a great channel
I have the most pain in the rear to clean rims on my car. This will help tons. Thanks again Pan!
Thanks Sebastien!
I actually find wheel and tyre cleaning one of the most satisfying parts of detailing a car.
The dirtier the better, because we see a big difference, and then a clean and dressed wheel is one of the parts we notice the most.
Thanks for sharing Rui!
I've been using this all season with the smaller IK sprayer and the 1 gal. jugs to mix. I use the bigger IK for foam for the car. Have to pump for each wheel but only takes a few seconds. Really easy to do the wheels now and I don't dread cleaning them like I used to. Wheel woolies work great with this foam and are gentle on the finish. So happy the see how to do this setup from the video and very happy with the results. Thanks Pan.
👍🏻👍🏻
Personnellement j’ai beaucoup appris en regardant tes vidéos. Merci pour tout ce que tu fait. Bonne continuation.
Merci Slim!
Thanks Pan, not just great vids but super information on what works and doesn't work,👍
Thanks Shaun!!
Ordered last night after watching video. I have high gloss black rims with a ceramic coat on both vehicles. Looking for something safe for the rims and me. Tried Brake Buster this weekend and when I was done the second vehicle my hands were burning. Looking forward to trying this. Thanks!
Great. I've watched all detailing videos by pan and they have helped me a lot. By far the beat detailing channel. Thanks Pan😀
Thanks for your support and feedback Tom!
@@PanTheOrganizer I have a question. Do you have any recommendations for something the same as Ik foam 9?
Hi Pan, I just wanted to say that your videos are incredibly educational and that you're doing an awesome job! From one canadian to another, keep it up!!
Thanks Terry!! 👍🏻🇨🇦
Pan, thanks for a great video, as a purchaser of the original "pre-production" wheel cleaner from Auto-Fanatic and waiting for my pre-order bottles to arrive I was glad to see your endorsement of a very good product. It truly is an excellent formula and really does a great job cleaning wheels and tires.
Thanks Laszlo! You’re going to love the final production version even more. 👍🏻
This is product seems to be the safest "work smarter not harder solution. Think about it...no need to use an iron remover, one less step for awesome results. Great Review Pan. Good Job @Auto Fanatic
You got it Mistah!!
Brian Woods for enthusiasts and professionals that are seeing customers on a maintenance schedule this is the perfect wheel cleaner
Excellent video on the worst part of car washing. Can you please send like to home hose spray nozzle? Or updated one if available. Like the fact that it does not require pressure washer.
Very personally done Love how good your equipment is like a studio
Thanks!!
Pan I tried the Amazon link and apparently it does not deliver to my area which is Mississauga near Toronto I am hoping soon they can deliver it to my area and try this new product, I can’t wait until I get my hands on this product it looks amazing and the features of this product is just perfect all the way around
Great to see the positive review. I pre-ordered a bottle a soon as it was available to do so. Can't wait to try it out. I love that it cleans tires too. The foaming nature makes it so much easier to clean the tire since it doesn't run off quickly like every other degreaser/cleaner for tires.
Let me know how you like it when you use ii.
But I never get tired of your videos though awesome awesome awesome !!
Thanks Joel!!
Pan!! You very humble person. Thanks for sharing your knowledge all your videos very interesting, they motivate me to follow your steps 👍😎
Thanks Rodrigo! I appreciate it!
Your welcome 😎
Excellent review ! looking forward to ordering this product. I have had issues with stronger more damaging products in the past. Other products have etched and damaged the finish of my rotors. Ill have to replace them and hoping this product will keep them looking like new. From the video, it looks like the right product.
Thanks Jerry! Yes this will solve your issues.
The Auto Fanatic guy just sounds like a complete salesman. So I had no trust in this product personally but now that YOU have endorsed it I’m thinking twice. Will keep a closer eye on it and hopefully if/when it hits the uk market I might give it a go, hopefully we will have more reviews on it by then.
Thanks for your vote of confidence. My viewers know that I go through thorough testing before I endorse or present a product. I had been testing this for 6 months on all sorts of wheels and clean, dirty, coated, non coated scenarios and it really lives up to my standards.
Phil from Auto Fanatic is really a great guy and genuinely loves detailing and the automotive industry. I spoke with him personally as I always like to get to know the people behind products or brands before giving them the opportunity of giving them exposure on a platform as big as my channel and I can tell you, he’s the real deal.
I had already tested his 007 Gloss Enhancer which I did a video for and I loved that product so I had a feeling this wheel cleaner would be a great performer.
Again Keith, thanks for your support. 👍🏻
Pan, this was an amazing review! I am going to order this right away, I am so tired of the horrible smell from my current wheel cleaner. There are times when you go into the garage days after and you can still smell the wheel cleaner!! Yuck! I am very excited about this and thank you!
Thanks Todd! Happy new year! It’s nice to see you’re still watching my videos!
Pan TheOrganizer of course! I always enjoy your videos. I just purchased a 2016 Audi S7, we still have the SQ5 as well!
Sweet! Congrats on the S7!
After seeing Matt fumble with this I don't think it is up my alley.... Plus that foamer is not cheap
DieselDan09 you need to follow directions with no deviations its fool proof and easy
Yeah Matt doesn't try enough imo with things he doesn't like instantly. Just look at him with Beadmaker.
I have no issues with the foamer. Not all products can be foamed/diluted. As you can see in the video, it worked out great for me. The Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaner was designed to be diluted and used with a foamer. I just followed the super easy directions and it just works. The IK Foam 9 is a great pump sprayer. They make some of the best in the industry.
Matt’s not using Auto fanatics wheels cleaner , the viscosity is probably to thick for the foam sprayer that’s why he had problems with both sprayers Auto fanatic perfected it , plus being Honest the griots wheel cleaner sucks
It’s not the cheapest foamer but once you have it, there are lots of other applications for it other than wheels too. Matt has his routine and any new products he tries have to fit into that routine or they’re not for him. I have a more flexible approach where if I find a new product that works really well but is used in a different way, I’ll change my routine to suit. Each to their own of course!
Awesome video pan! Great info I’m looking at wheel cleaners to get one for my Honda Civic I have some acidic break dust that car soap is not washing it or cutting it thank you for the info
Glad it was helpful!
Love your videos Pan great work! I recently bought a 2016 Scion Tc and you've been a great help in keeping my car looking fresh! thanks for the work you have put in your videos.

Pan thank you for all that you do in your steadfast efforts to share your incredible knowledge in detailing cars with everyone and the great products that you test through your "RUclips" channel! I have nothing but admiration and respect for your candidness in your comments in all of your training and demo video's! I honestly feel like I've been detailing for a couple of years even though I just really starting testing the waters late this past summer! I say that because I've already streamlined my process and time required to do so many different phases of detailing just from watching your video's and Scott Bley's of Dallas Paint Protection demo video's as well! You guys both "ROCK"! I would love to get the opportunity to meet you in person one day Pan! I live in Tuscaloosa,Alabama! You were instrumental in me purchasing the Renny Doyle Double Black Bead Maker sealant after watching your first impression and usage of Bead Maker at the "Rag Company" location and then your own personal video that you made showing you using it on your BMW! :-) I've got a gallon of it and I can't wait to apply it to my cars and to my close friends cars that I'm presently detailing! Keep up the awesome "RUclips" demo video's Pan the man! :-)

What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Happy new year!
@@PanTheOrganizer Well of course your video of you using the "Renny Doyle Double Black Bead Maker"! :-) I had already watched the video of you testing and using it for the first time at "The Rag Company" headquarters! Pan here's wishing you a most "Blessed, healthy, happy and prosperous" New Year in 2019! Pan what car wash soap do you use for stripping the paint prior to decontamination of a car! Scott Bley will be coming out with his own "Traffic film/wax" decontamination car wash soap sometimes in January and I'm definitely going to try some of his from his DPC product line but I need something to use right now! :-)

I like all of your video's Pan! I have several more of yours to watch! :-)
I use Purple Power Vehicle and Boat Wash as my go-to stripping soap. Adam’s Strip wash is also good although not as strong.

Thanks Anton! How did you discover my channel?
Pan TheOrganizer I have a few cars, and i am really picky about detailing. You have so many reviews on a different products and it is so great. Everyone can find the best products for their need. So i am still trying to find from all of your list which one is the best for me!) But thank you so much for all of your time that you spent for explaining, and teaching people from ather side of the screen!)
Thanks for all your time Pan, I've been learning a lot through your videos to start my own detailing business.
I been using ADAMS product for wheel and tire. I like this product because you don't have to use separate product for wheels and tires. I see no need for sprayer if you have cannon to use with product that has enough psi to foam your wheels and tires. What nice you premix product use it and what is left i cannon you pour unused back in gallon jug. This stuff expensive to buy, but to in long run since I only have two cars (corvette and daily driver) this product will go long way . I want to thanks you for detail video on this product, great job.
You can’t use it with a foam cannon because there is too much water flow and you can’t control the dilution.
Is the foam sprayer required to use this product? Or can you use a standard sprayer to apply the solution to the wheel?
Great review, the other wheel cleaners I have read about can harm the wheel finish, this Will be a great addition to the monthly maintenance wash arsenal, thank you very much
Thanks Mark! How did you discover my channel?
@@PanTheOrganizer I remember browsing for car detailing videos and saw your maintenance wash of yourm550i, that’s when I followed as it was very informative and straight to the point which I liked
Awesome looks like it works like magic i am going to look at trying it in the spring. I am currently using Obsesssd wheel cleaner and it works very well but finding something that does that well diluted would be more cost effective
grand04gt Obssssd wheel cleaner is very good, I agree. Did you watch my Obssssd lineup review video?
@@PanTheOrganizer absolutely i enjoy watching all your videos and have seen all of them. One i have yet to see is one with carpets that have loads of salt
Sounds like a great product for the entire car.... wheels and arches especially 🤞🏼😄
Yep
Such a thorough review, from start to finish. Cheers!
Thanks Gene! I appreciate your feedback!
I like this cleaner. I coated my corvette with the turtle was ceramic/ graphene. Will it be a good coating for the chrome factory mags?
I like the look of this. It seems a lot of people use a pretty strong wheel cleaner or even a fall out remover every time they clean their wheels. If done regularly on protected wheels, the same soap you use on your paintwork in your separate wheel bucket will do the job perfectly and is kind to the protection. This stuff can be diluted to whatever strength you need which not only gives different applications for different situations but makes it more economical than some premixed cleaners. It appears to be more like a foaming APC than a harsh wheel cleaner which is a good thing in my books.
Thanks for watching!
Great video Pan. I have been really enjoying all the knowledge that you share with the community. One question...what kind of soap is in your bucket when you are using the brushes to do the scrubbing? Keep up all the great videos.
When wheels are very dirty, I use the AMMO Brute Wheel Soap. If they're lightly soiled, I use Adam's Car Shampoo...
I would love to purchase this product as well. However, the shipping cost is too much. Why would a 32 oz. bottle cost that much to ship?
Also, thank you much for such great detail video. Truly professional
One question please, what PSI of power washer is good for the whole car? I have one that is 1500psi, is that too much for the paint?
Anything between 1000 to 2000 psi is perfect for washing cars.
Got it yesterday...I will be testing it on my next detail..thanks!
Have fun! How did you discover my channel by the way?
@@PanTheOrganizer I been watching for a while Pan...Im getting set up to go another round with my detailing business, I haven't been active for 5-6 years so im "semi-retired" from building racing engines and head porting, I still love polishing cars been doing it for over 40+ years as I was a full timer for a long time... last half at the top level...thanks for the product updates, i was a little behind but no more...
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. And yeah I like to keep myself up to date with all the latest techniques and products and at the same time I pass that knowledge down to my audience. :)
Pan, thank you so much for this video. I have a new BMW 440i, granted it’s winter and my car doesn’t see snow or ice except from my garage. But today it was 70 degrees, so of course I had to try this product that I purchased after watching this video. I used a IK 1.5 foam sprayer. Granted, my wheels are like yours, not filthy but not clean and shiny like I like. The wheel cleaner is unbelievably easy to use and did an awesome job. I used the array of tools on the wheels but it could have been done without them. To top it off, because of your video review of 303, which I purchased 4 bottles, I tried the 303.
I lease my cars, so over the last 10 years, I’ve leased 7 different BMW’s and they are always spotless, but I can honestly say I’ve never had wheels shine like this.
Thanks for the feedback Steve! Congrats on the 440i! Sweeeeeet ride! 👍🏻
What spray gun and connect do you use to connect to your hose for pressure washer?
Mosmatic. High end.
Have you tried spraying a iron remover like Gyeon Iron after using the product to see if any iron particles were left?
Not right after. Could be a plan for a future video.
Pan, consider doing the shrader valve mod to your ik9 - huge difference. You don’t have to pump forever, just a quick charge-up from your air compressor and you are good to go.
I think I saw that video on Phil's channel (Auto Fanatic)
@@PanTheOrganizer He did make a vid about that. I didn't like the valve he used so I got these from amazon (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MA1SCFU) but yes. The result is certainly worth the headache.
Just got 3 bottles of wheel cleaner from Phil to use with the ik9, it works really nice with lots of pressure. The blow-off valve kicks in around 60 psi and holds it just fine. So happy.
Thanks for all that you do for the community. FWIW, Going forward, I'd really like to see more of your subjective opinions on reviews, as not everything is good. As an example, I really like your best of the year award videos. Helps consumers with decision making leveraging your experiences and opinions.
Great video again Pan!
Could you please do a video on how to safely remove any tar on the paint. Keep the good content up man
Thanks Alex!
It's easy, Mineral Spirits. It's a completely safe solvent will not damage the clear coat or any finish. It's available at Autozone, Wal-Mart, O'Reillys, etc. Super cheap, and it's the main ingredient in most tar removers on the market.
Good afternoon Pan here in Puerto Rico I order the car fanatic foam wheel cleaner is soon to arrive, I watch the video in which you use the IK foam 9 to create the foam. I wonder the ik 1.5 can work too?
It could work but you’ll be pumping it a lot more because it’s smaller. Make sure it’s the IK Foam 1.5 (not the IK Multi 1.5)
Hi love you content I been following you for sometime and l noticed that you have several different products for wheels cleaning I just wanted to know what you will recommend as the best one?
Thank you in advance

$25 for shipping is crazy.. I pass.

Great video pan! Like always. Now have you done any testing on the paint? It's is safe to use to remove tar or tree sap? Thanks!
It’s not designed to be used on paint.

Hey Pan after cleaning the wheels what do you recommend for protecting them from winter elements here in Canada? I have winter wheels and tires that I swap out every season so I don't know if you recommend different summer/winter products but I am interested in your recommendation.
I typically will spray a spray-on rinse off sealant like CarPro HydrO2, Gyeon Wet Coat or Sonax Spray and Seal.
Watch my HydrO2 video: ruclips.net/video/d1beB0P4sOM/видео.html
The ik foam 9 sprayers not available are there any alternative foam sprayers out there?

Do you still need an iron and tar removal product with this wheel cleaner or does this product eliminate both?
Your videos are always excellent
Yes you still need chemicals to remove those once every 4-5 months.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you very much
Hey pan can this also be used in the wheel wells? If not what do you recommend for the wheel wells?
Yes you could use this on wheel wells.
Hello, i used by mistake in a self wash the wheel foam on my car paint ...but i rince it a few minutes later....do You think it damaged my paint?
Hi Pan,this is great stuff,im using Meguiars wheel &tyre cleaner at the moment, this one certainly brings off the dirt on the wheel.
Yeah it’s awesome to even just watch it in action when you’re letting dwell!
@@PanTheOrganizer more fun than the color changing ones without the nasty smell and tradeoffs too ha ha ha

Pan, love the vids, but this stuff is a bit costly compared to many others. Love the pump sprayer, will be snagging that buddy. Keep the vids coming... I would also like you to do a review on Rejex. I have been using this for years off and on and would really like your take on this product.
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
@@PanTheOrganizer I did not mean to take away from your review, very nice. And after scouring (pun intended) the internet, you are right, that stuff is by far the best out there, and possibly with the right dilution you could get enough out of that bottle to make it cost effective. I spent the entire day looking at wheel care and there is just not many out there like it. Will make you a deal, you review Rejex on a side note for another show and I will buy some Auto Fanatic... of course it won't ship till May 2019 lol... Thanks Pan...love the channel.
Hi Pan! Were you also using AutoFanatic Wheel cleaner in bucket used for the agitation? If so, same dilution ratio?
I was using Anmo Brute wheel soap.
Need to wait to see this product in Canada. I just went to buy one bottle and shipping is alsmost the same price of the product. Make non sens 120$CND for a 32oz bottle
Ok Pan, as a wheel cleaner this product looks sweet, especially from a value perspective and how much you can make with dilution. My question for you is this: Can you use this for chemical paint decontamination ala Meguiars Wheel Brightnener?(something recommended by Scott Bley which works great)
Great video as always Pan!
I don’t have an answer to that question. Maybe Phil from Auto Fanatic will answer this.
Meguiars wheel brightener is an acid based wheel cleaner (it’s awesome), but is not the product you are thinking about. Meguiars Ultimate All wheel cleaner is the product that can be used as an iron remover on paint.
I've been wondering about this too. The product is apparently safe for paint, and it's obviously capable of breaking down iron particles. Considering how expensive Iron-X is and how little you get, if this product could do the same job it would be a much better option. Without the horrible smell, too.
I been using auto Magic’s wheel acid for years. I use it on the nastiest wheels with a 185 degree pressure washer. I also use the acid on paint. I don’t like the caustic part of it. But it’s a lot cheaper. We use protection and outside ventilated.
Jason Herrera , I agree, I have detailed cars for 30 years and “Spoke” hands down works incredible, even better is to use an opposite ph tire cleaner after to neutralize the acid as well as the opposite ph for different stains. I also was using it on paint and glass for waterspot removal. Now with that being said, Spoke is very strong and can attack clearcoat. It must be kept wet at all times to stay diluted. It also will ruin an outside mirror in about a second. Not recommended for regular use or by a novice
Pan, as always thank you for what you do and the service you provide to us. I value your opinions and prescribed approaches to detailing. What is the best way to apply wheel cleaner on a dry wheel or wet wheel?

Pan, can you make a video for the foam cannon and attachments you use??
Here: ruclips.net/video/yK-GL-9lIrk/видео.html
Can you use a foam cannon attached to a sprayer or smaller pump foam sprayer?
You can't use a foam cannon with this product. A pressure washer generates too much water flow and you'll be diluting the product way too much.
You could use a smaller pump sprayer (like the IK Foam 1.5) but I don't recommend doing that, because you'll constantly be pumping for air, and often have to refill with solution.
@@PanTheOrganizer Sounds good. I was thinking the smaller pump would work. there is actually a video where a guy made a auto pump by adding a electronic air pump to his. I can send you the video. might do that since the big pump is too pricey for the apt living life. lol
Perfect video Pan, can't wait to receive my 2 bottles that I ordered right away when the pre order came out. I'm tired too of chemical fumes from wheel cleaners and the ones that don't have are really just shampoo, this product is the real deal and again, can't wait to try it. I have use 007 as well and agreed with you, it's one of the best products out the on its category. I have that and bead maker on my arsenal. Again, epic video Pan, 👍👌
You have some awesome products in your arsenal!! 👍🏻
@@PanTheOrganizer 😁👍👌
Didn’t know it acted as iron fallout as well! That’s amazing!!
It softens and encapsulates iron and tar particles as well. Without the nasty smell.
Pan , on the iK , how long can you leave cleaner in bottle , for the next time . I’m using an iK foam with Brake buster, I’ll use 1/3 on car, bottle is 2/3 full & may not use again for several days . This will not hurt sprayer tips ?
No problem. I can leave the solution many weeks.
Would love to try it. Shipping is nuts.
Just got mine cant wait to load up the Foamer and try it.
Pan, I am trying to calculate cost per 4 wheel clean, and how many cleans to expect per bottle. Based on what you show, a bottle will generally do for 5 to 6 gallons diluted. How much of the gallon did you use to clean your 4 wheels? Thanks.
Go to auto fanatic's channel he has videos of this product that will answer most of your question. A quick answer is 4-5 washes each bottle depending which stage dilution you use.
Rabbitz92 I did check his site, his reply to same question to 2 people is that a gallon “lasts a long time”.
Hey Pan ! Why do you don't recommend to use the green tip ? Does it produce the thickest foam ?
Because the green tip produces dry foam and that’s not what you want with this product.
Green tip = dry foam
Orange tip = wet foam
Grey tip = standard foam
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks buddy. Greetings from Argentina !
God bless Pan. Can you tell me where can I find the water gun attached to the hose you use for this video?
11:30 I can't see how a product would be able to strip away dirt from a dirty wheel but not strip waxes or sealants. Using common sense, I would definitely want to be more cautious about getting it on protected paintwork.
Well, I don't know it down to the most technical levels. But a little understanding of cleaners and waxes/sealants helps. While yes, common sense wise, it does seem suspicious. But actually, cleaners consist of many kind of chemical substances with each having different roles to play. First of, waxes and sealants are oil-based products. Water and oil don't mix, hence the water-beading reaction. Now what a cleaner does is attach itself to the oils to break them down and "encapsulate" it, allowing the oil to now be washed away with water. Cleaners safe for waxes simply do not have these properties. They're focused more on lifting and encapsulating dirt off the surface, which then can be washed away with water removing dirt and leaving your waxes/sealants alone. Of course there are other factors at play such as temperature and pH levels...but I just wanted to say it's not impossible really for a cleaner to be effective and yet leave your protection alone.
@@Kyle-kc8cw It's not doing much "encapsulating" at 17:00. Slides right off the dirt and still needs to be brushed off manually.
ACitizenOfOurWorld yea its a good product.. maybe its because my wheels are coated and topped but the foam flies off the wheels : i find it quick and easier to use waterless wash and just wipe down daily. Maybe once a week get in there and clean around the brake calipers.
Hi Pan, great video ,would this work using a foam cannon and a pressure washer on the wheels?
No, as you can't control dilution with the foam cannon as well.
Have you done a how to detail on a budget? Tia
Not yet. Good idea though.
Thanks for the reply. Would be good to see a budget but brilliant vid. Love the vids.
Pan TheOrganizer would you think about doing this one day this year?
Yes most probably in the spring time. :)
The basics work best and raw detailing ability
Pan, how do you create that much foam?? Is it because of the nozzle? I have a regular garden pump sprayer that looks almost the same, but i only get soapy water....
You need a good foaming product and yes the sprayer does play a major role. I used IK Foam 9 in this video (link in the description under the video).
Pan, whats a good sealant to protect matte wheels? The barrel of my wheels are matte yet the face is glossy
If you're looking for a spray on matte product that lasts 2-3 months, here: amzn.to/2V8Ofdr
If you're looking for a longer lasting ceramic coating for matte surfaces, that will last 1 year, here: amzn.to/366mXuU
Is it better to use the orange tip or grey tip? Is there more benefit to have it wetter or not? Thanks.
I use the standard tip that comes on the sprayer.
Pan TheOrganizer thanks Pan. Much appreciated! Enjoy your channel very much!
Thanks! How did you discover my channel Stephen?
@@PanTheOrganizer It was RUclips recommendation. I was researching for car detailing. Your channel has been very helpful; I've learned a lot.
Is there a coupon code for this? The shipping cost is insane..

Gotta ask Pan! Will this wheel cleaner work a regular pump spray like the kind you’d use for lawn pesticide?
I haven't tried it. But it would have to be a foaming type pump sprayer.
G'day Pan, firstly Happy New Year!! Another great video and in depth explanation and demonstration of how this product works. What product solution did you have in the bucket for the wheel brush and woolies?
I currently use Duragloss wheel cleaner for my wheels and tyres.
Thanks! I have Adam's Car Shampoo in the bucket.
Thanks. I just bought Adams car shampoo last week, waiting to give it a go.
If the wheels are super dirty, I sometimes use Ammo Brute Wheel Soap.
So Pan.. would you choose this product over the Iron X or amms or chemical guys products you used for the rims and tires?
antonie jackson Yes. But a dedicated iron remover still has its place.
Nice video and it does seem to be a good product however I think it’s too much.
what would be your pick for stand alone product that doesn’t require a pump and generally is hassle free ? (Spat and rise maybe?)
Thanks!
AngelWax Bilberry wheel cleaner or Adam’s Wheel Cleaner.
Thank you sir!
Great to see down to earth RUclipsd that takes the time and effort to replay.
Got a sub from me, keep it up!
Thanks! It’s nice to see my viewers recognize the time I put each day to answer questions. I think all RUclipsrs should be closer to their audience. I can spend up to 4 hours each day just answering questions. With almost 220,000 subscribers sending me hundreds of messages and emails daily, I admit it can get overwhelming at times, but I try my best.
Since you subscribed, let me officially welcome you to the Pan TheOrganizer family!
What country are you watching from? Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦!
I am thinking of getting my brake calipers painted. Will this product damage those at all?
Thanks
Aboslutely no worries. Auto Fanatic is powerful yet super safe.
Hello Pan. Is it possible to apply the product with a foam lance instead? I wouldn't like to buy the IK Foam 9 just for applying this product.
Yes the new version of this product (in 16oz bottles) can be used in a foam cannon.
Great video, Pan. I saw Phil's video a week or so ago and was impressed with his product. With your endorsement, I'm going to go ahead and order some. I'm currently using Chemical Guys' iron remover wheel cleaner and it does smell like Sulphur. It does a good job, but the smell is pretty harsh. I also like those gallon jugs for mixing and am going to order some of those too. I've already got the foamer that you recommended in a previous video, so I'm good to go there. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion. I’m sure you’ll like this wheel cleaner.
Which pump sprayer did you get? It really works well with the bigger IK Foam 9. The smaller IK Foam 1.5 is “ok” but you’re pumping a lot more and you’ll have to refill it with solution more often.
I have both of them, so I can see, by trial-and-error, which one works best for me. Both the wheel cleaner and the gallon jugs are on order, so I'm all set for better looking wheels. Thanks again.
👍🏻
Hey Pan. What do you have in the bucket that you’re using with the wheel brush? Just regular soap and water?
Also, do you ever wash your brushes in the washer or just rinse them off well after each use?
I usually have Ammo Brute wheel soap in a dedicated wheel bucket.
I just pressure rinse the brushes when done.
Pan TheOrganizer okay thanks Pan. I have ceramic pro on my car, but just bought the iK foam 9 and Auto fanatic wheel cleaner. Figured I could just use some ONR or some other car wash soap of some sort in the bucket. Never tried Ammos stuff but just found his RUclips video and looks like they have some good stuff.
Hey man love the videos I use the gray tip with p&s break buster diluted 3:1 and I feel like the auto fanatic wheel cleaning foam just foams so much better. Also how do u clean your Ik foam foamed out like the wand and all that. I have the ik foam pro 12
Run water trough it that’s what I do on the pro12
@@anthony3953 thanks
Thanks Pan! Great video.
I wonder if I could use my own foam cannon or do I need the one you are using? I also would like to know what's inside the bucket you use to rinse the brush. I am learning how to detail my car. Thanks.
You can’t use this in a foam cannon as you can’t control the dilution. It has to be in a pump sprayer.
I love it, and would be glad to grab some... But I don't own a foamer and no money to buy one. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the help, R, but I was rather thinking more like “are there other approaches”. Say, use it in liquid form, XYZ company has manual foaming spray bottles, etc. You know, helpful info.
Hello again Pan
In spray type which is also awesome wheel cleaner ?
Carpro iron x tried weeks ago and was very good to me but very bad smell
You suggest any similar except auto fanatic?
Adam's Wheel Cleaner, AngelWax Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, Ammo Plum Wheel Cleaner.
another awesome video as always Pan! But I have a question for you. if you end up having to scrub your wheels with a brush why use such an expensive product? pretty much any wheel cleaner that non-acidic will do the trick if you scrub your wheel with a brush. i really dont see anything special here.
It's actually one of the less expensive wheel cleaners on the market once you factor in that you can generate up to 6 gallons of this stuff with a single 32 oz bottle. It comes out to like 8$ per gallon. You can barely get 16 oz bottle of wheel cleaner from other popular detailing brands. Think about that. ;)
I ordered some. Waiting for it to come. I can’t wait until I get it in my hands.
Great video Pan!
Only concern I have about this product is the shipping cost. I live in Texas and $18 for shipping seems extremely high. I’m sure its a great product but the shipping cost is a turn off.
Thanks!
How did you discover my channel?
Pan TheOrganizer oh man I’ve been following you for a while. I have a few cars that I try to keep in good shape and I was looking for a was to prevent swirl marks and I found you.
Pan TheOrganizer the 2017 and 2018 favorite product videos were a big help also.
Thanks for the feedback!
Pan TheOrganizer I placed an order today. I want to support this product.
Would this be good to get if the wheels/barrels are ceramic coated or would it be overkill?
Thanks Pan for your all video anglais français au top merci !!!
Agreed and already ordered it last week.
You're going to love this wheel cleaner. :)
Hi Pan ,great video ,could this be used as an iron remover?
It does help loosen and lift iron and tar particles yes.
