I take warm water, milk powder, 2 dates & boil them. Then I add oats, chiaseeds and soak them overnight. In the morning I add banana n almonds on top. Holaa yummy n creamy oats done.👍

Some roasted almonds ( only few because of oxalates) or nuts ( walnuts) are great to add flavour and texture.
When you add 2c oats w/ 3c warm water 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 1/2 tsp. Almond extract stir lid cover around 30 mins. Then strain off liquid into measuring cup you will have Vanilla Almond oat MILK. NOW use the soaked oats and make recipe. 1 Tbs maple to sweeten or date paste which is just dates and water ground til as a paste. Chopped nuts are excellent. Bon appetite vegan style!!

You could also mix the milk in the warm water before adding to oats. It saves a little time and it mixes easier.

I used powdered milk as well with the fruits and walnuts after but NO sugar. I made it a point NOT to buy sugar. AVOID SUGAR used honey or seiva.🙄🇯🇲

Steel cut oats are the healthiest. Quick are the most processed. If you don’t want to take the time at least switch to rolled.

Chia seeds should be ist seperately soaked 20 to 30 min and then added with the oats as in above video it seems chia seeds are still bit hard.
