Harry is definitely a manipulator, and I also believe he exhibits narcissistic traits due to his love bombing, inability to take accountability, manipulation, and lack of empathy. As Ashley mentioned, Harry might use therapy to enhance his manipulation skills rather than genuinely improve himself. In his case, I think therapy will just make him a more effective narcissist. Sometimes, I wish we could isolate all narcissists on an island where they could only emotionally harm each other, leaving everyone else in peace.
So allegedly, production leaves the reject/xtra cast in a sh-tty hotel, threatening they won’t get airtime to get them to be more competitive and aggressive when they’re pulled into a date “matched” cast members.
Netflix has a show like that. And the hostess shows what happened in both houses on a huge screen when everybody gets together. It's diabolical! They bring in couples having issues (lol) , separate them in two houses and bring a bunch of singles so they can choose. It's like The ultimatum meets Perfect Match. ''Amor, Verdade e Consequencia''. It's a spanish show, and they also did Poland, and Germany if I'm not mistaken. The show has multiple ceremonies and the hostess tells things to each couple like ''your partner kissed someone'' or ''he cheated on you before the show'', and they need to guess if it is true or false to win money. People do crazy things when their partner is not around.

Lots of drama, with a peak at different attitudes about sex / relationships because of cultural differences. Junk food for your brain…but still fun😊
Another show I didn't have to actually watch and still got to "enjoy" bc of you guys, thank you! Loved the "because he's 6'5"" comment. Not only funny but sadly true. It's probably our wiring. I can say for myself, no matter how mature and self-aware I've gotten over the years, I still have to supervise my choices in men due to height. I'm 5'11" so it's hard to find someone taller than me, and height is probably the strongest physical attribute that affects my choices. So when I'm strongly attracted to a tall guy right away, or immediately dismiss a shorter one, I have to stop myself and ask is height clouding my judgement. If this guy was shot, would I like his other traits, personality, attitude, values, etc.? and vice versa.
There is no man, charismatic enough, rich enough, attractive enough, smart enough, or 6'5 enough to make me or any other well-adjusted person put up with him or laugh at his trashy jokes. If anyone finds themselves falling for him or rooting for him, I hope they see that as a sign they need to dig deep and possibly seek help.
My potentially unpopular opinion is that anyone who falls for this (specifically from Harry) is incredibly dense. I feel like Dom in season 2 wasnt a villain like how Harry is a villain. Harry doesnt care. He lies and creates drama for screentime and doesnt care who gets hurt in the process. Dom's s2 behaviour feels like a reaction to what happened in s1. He got crushed by Francesca because he went all in with her too fast, and Georgia saved him from going home but then cheated on him. In season 1, he committed hard and ended up alone, so season 2 feels like he didnt want to do that again, but he overcompensated. His connection with Tolu was natural, but he may have thought that going with it would lead to the same thing as before, so he backed off and ruined it, like he was trying to break an old painful pattern. So it felt to me like both seasons he wanted to end up with lasting love, but he is overthinking how to make that happen, so he ended up being douchey in s2. Underneath it all, I think he has decent intentions.

There are so many people you could find in the world who are mature and reflective to begin with, and don't choose to disrespect and hurt you. Who you could feel connected to. Move on and find something better instead of putting yourself in the ringer because of your attachment and love. You can still love someone and not be with them because that's for the best.
I advise you to consider it a huge red flag when someone suddenly seems mature and like they’ve “reflected” whenever you try to move on. It’s an act. No one who consistently treats you poorly just miraculously transforms in an instant because you broke up with them. People who don’t want to lose access to you will fake it to get you to take them back and then go back to being their true selves right after. REAL change takes time. If someone treats you badly and behaves in a way that damages your ability to trust, that’s a sign they have serious personal issues. It’s a sign they value their own ego and pleasure much more highly than your well-being. It is not that they weren’t aware they were hurting you. They just decided it was worth it for whatever reason. People like that are very unlikely to actually turn their behavior around because they put themselves first always. And if someone like that does change, it takes a lot more than a breakup to get them there. There are much kinder and more caring people than your ex. I hope you find someone who reminds you what genuine love and care looks like. But for now you can think about how YOU treat the people you love, how you consider their best interest and ask yourself if he has done that for you. Ask yourself if he’s made you feel safe.

I feel like Dom in season 2 wasnt a villain like how Harry is a villain. Harry doesnt care. He lies and creates drama for screentime and doesnt care who gets hurt in the process. Dom's s2 behaviour feels like a reaction to what happened in s1. He got crushed by Francesca because he went all in with her too fast, and Georgia saved him from going home but then cheated on him. In season 1, he committed hard and ended up alone, so season 2 feels like he didnt want to do that again, but he overcompensated. His connection with Tolu was natural, but he may have thought that going with it would lead to the same thing as before, so he backed off and ruined it, like he was trying to break an old painful pattern. So it felt to me like both seasons he wanted to end up with lasting love, but he is overthinking how to make that happen, so he ended up being douchey in s2. Underneath it all, I think he has decent intentions.
I hated him so much in all the shows. Hes definitely a pathological liar who has no remorse to who he hurts. Hes only on TV for clout and to grow his career. Absolutely a disgusting human being and he doesnt deserve a sweet girl like Jess and be Autumn's step dad
Ive always found it really weird when a guy doesn't like his own race of women. i find it a major red flag and probably links to fetishes. Ive heard preference but how can you exclude a whole race of women, especially your own?

They should absolutely add a side house on the perfect match. Some people are added so late in the game they have no chance. Just put the eliminated people and the ones waiting to get chosen in a less luxurious side house. Maybe separate the couples at some point.. We also desperately need better challenges or this show will get very boring very quickly.
Harry has some deep emotional problems, someone hurt him deeply and he hasn't recovered. He treats everything like a joke so you can't be hurt anymore. It's sad really.

After the first season Chase and Franscesca (and maybe others) did podcasts saying the same shit that they fabricated drama for the show 😒 This show is truly the worst premise. The pretend goal of the show conflicts with the real goal of the show so these people end up making up drama cause the show itself doesn't create any story whatsoever 😒😒
Okay final theories. When I first saw episode 8 I came to my comments on one of your videos and said is this the big horrible thing Harry does? I was so underwhelmed whether he kissed her or not I didn't care cause I wasn't invested in the couple or Harry and Jess and individuals...... So Harry and Melinda are cordial in public right... what if they planned to do this, did they/did they not storyline cause the show needed drama and no one actually hooked up.... 🤔 what if Melinda's in on this 🤔 cause imagine you walked up to your co worker who you. Them. And everyone at work knows you just called them a horrible person online... I'd say ppl (smart ppl like Melinda in particular) would avoid a situation like that... if shes so professional, that applies to her online persona as well 🤔🤔🤔

I‘m just trauma dumping at this point. My ex just came to pick up his stuff from my apartment. I thought I didn’t really trust him any more but he was so mature and reflected today and I can’t stop crying. Maybe I made the wrong choice… I love him so much
There are so many people you could find in the world who are mature and reflective to begin with, and don't choose to disrespect and hurt you. Who you could feel connected to. Move on and find something better instead of putting yourself in the ringer because of your attachment and love. You can still love someone and not be with them because that's for the best.
I advise you to consider it a huge red flag when someone suddenly seems mature and like they’ve “reflected” whenever you try to move on. It’s an act. No one who consistently treats you poorly just miraculously transforms in an instant because you broke up with them. People who don’t want to lose access to you will fake it to get you to take them back and then go back to being their true selves right after. REAL change takes time.
If someone treats you badly and behaves in a way that damages your ability to trust, that’s a sign they have serious personal issues. It’s a sign they value their own ego and pleasure much more highly than your well-being. It is not that they weren’t aware they were hurting you. They just decided it was worth it for whatever reason. People like that are very unlikely to actually turn their behavior around because they put themselves first always. And if someone like that does change, it takes a lot more than a breakup to get them there.
There are much kinder and more caring people than your ex. I hope you find someone who reminds you what genuine love and care looks like. But for now you can think about how YOU treat the people you love, how you consider their best interest and ask yourself if he has done that for you. Ask yourself if he’s made you feel safe.
